I was on the move out of Fort Worth in the downtown area and I noticed Buon Giorno (my girlfriend who is fluent in Italian would tell me that means good morning!) had quite a few yelp reviews, so I made a quick pitstop. Attached to a larger building, the space is a cool spot and feels truly like an Italian cafe in the middle of Fort Worth. There are plenty of comfortable and cozy spots. The baristas were quite friendly, and I ordered a Tiramisu Latte at their recommendation. As I aimlessly wandered around the coffee shop looking at all the décor, my beverage was ready almost immediately. Don't get me wrong, my coffee was excellent, but the atmosphere this coffee shop brings feels like you order espresso shots and cappuccinos only. I used to be a regular here and always enjoyed the coffee, food, and inviting atmosphere. The quality was consistently great, and I even purchased their coffee beans to take home on several occasions. Unfortunately, my last visit was unsettling. While working outside, I was approached by an aggressive homeless man who wouldn't leave me alone, no matter how much I tried to signal discomfort. The staff was busy inside, so I don't fault them for not coming out to check on me, but the experience left me feeling unsafe and hesitant to return. It's the first time I ever encountered an unfriendly homeless person in downtown Fort Worth; usually they are pretty respectful, but this man was actually a pretty jarring. I've since heard they've relocated, and I genuinely hope the new spot offers a safer environment and improved parking..,the old lot was extremely tight and difficult to find space. I hope the new location brings back the welcoming energy that first made this café a favorite. read more

Plenty of seating, though individual tables are on the smaller side, but you can tell this spot has like a neighborhood feel. I fear the cappuccino was pretty bitter for my taste. My friend ordered an iced seasonal blueberry latte and that was really sour/bitter. Pretty disappointed by the coffee unfortunately. The food was delicious, though! The bread pudding was soft and not too sweet. The avocado panini came with chips and was devoured immediately. They took a little long to make my panini, but very kindly gave us two scones for our wait and the scones were delicious too. So come for the cozy vibes and food. Buon Giorno is a great coffee shop in downtown FW where you can study, read, or catch up with friends. There's some cute decor in the back and a decent amount of seating, though I have seen it fill up throughout the day. There's also extra seating outside the entrance while still being indoors. It can get loud and busy during the morning and afternoon rush as many business workers arrive and with the weekend morning crowd, so I'd recommend noise-cancelling head/ear phones if you're wanting to focus. It's usually more quiet on a weekend afternoon. I will add that it was a little tricky for me to find this place my first time since it's located inside a business building. (Picture of one of the entrances included.) I ordered an iced London Fog this time around, which was decent, although it was a little bit overpriced at $6.50. Although I've never tried them, I do appreciate that they offer actual food options (asides from the usual pastries), making it a great spot for long study or work sessions. There's a parking garage close by where they validate parking (which I think is good for 3 or 4 hours). There's also street parking, which is free on the weekends. Overall, I've always enjoyed coming here, and it's been one of my go-to study spots for the past 2 years! read more

Buon Giorno Coffee is a super cute shop in Downtown Fort Worth. It is really easy to get to and there is a large parking lot across the street. You can validate your parking inside for 3 free hours. The shop was a little tricky to find due to construction, but it is located inside a larger building lobby. It shares bathroom space with the rest of the building, but the bathrooms were immaculate! There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The staff were all very friendly and were happy to provide recommendations. My coffee was made quickly and tasted great. I'd come back here again! This spot is one of the best work/study spots I've been to! The environment is relatively quiet with classical music playing on the speakers, and the servers were very kind. There were a decent number of outlets, but not by every table. We got our parking validated for the whole day because we stayed more than 3 hours. The drinks are very good and the flavors are unique. The blueberry cobbler latte was delicious! And their matcha was good as well, both hot and iced. The goat cheese sun-dried tomato quiche was delicious, so much that we got two! And the jalapeño sausage and cheddar brioche was super good as well. The turkey panini was also delicious. Ultimately, I plan to come back often! read more

It's been eight years since my last buon giorno review, and it is time to update it. I am proud to say I'm still a regular. :) Buon giorno is superior to any coffee shop in Fort Worth. Its quality of drinks and pastries far surpasses any coffee shop that I have visited in Fort Worth. Their baristas will make drinks just to your liking. If you want a decaf cappuccino with extra foam, they won't lecture you about it and will deliver your order just so. The best drink here is the spiced chai latte. You won't find it elsewhere, and it is the definition of comfort. When they haven't sold out, their croissants are amazing, plain and almond alike. My favorite summer dessert is the tiramisu, although you do need to ensure they have some ready for you. Feel free to call ahead if you know that's what you want. I also love their spiced sausage roll and cabinet pudding. They have a few kids' toys if you can secure a spot by the large windows, and your child can play and eat. Treat yourself and your family or friends by coming here to spend a morning together. We've splurged some mornings and, with $60, got so many different types of pastries, a French press of an Ethiopian coffee along with other beverages. Bonus is getting a little discount when I load my gift card with $50. Great way to save a little! Staff are also friendly and kind to children. This was such a cute and fun spot. It was on the middle of the city although there were ample food, coffee and snacky options. I got an iced latte with alt milk and no sweetener. It was really good tasting coffee, full bodied and not burnt. I also got a panini with chicken, cheese, and pesto on it. I was not disappointed. There were also chips as a side which didn't make much of an impact. This location had ample inside seating, a cozy but working vibe, and then the option of numerous seats outside with umbrellas to prevent the sun from scorching you. There is free parking across the street in the garage on weekends- the coffee shop validates the ticket for you! The guy at the register was super friendly and helpful, and I totally can't remember the name of the syrup to save my life, but I got it with my latte. The barista explained it was similar to a Biscoff biscuit flavor, I tried it. To me it had a fruity flavor to it, but regardless it was very good and it was not burnt. Not only do they have great food and coffee, there are plenty of seating for you to sit down and study. If you're looking for something cold and sweet, you must try the Raspbaretto. It was so delicious that we had to get it another time for ourselves. The Machiato Espresso was nicely made and hot, if you're looking for something hot and stronger. From their Panini Menu, we ordered the Breakfast Panini and Turkey Panini. The Breakfast Panini was great, but the Turkey Panini is definitely the winner between the two. Some chips came with our Turkey Panini (but not our Breakfast Panini), and overall, the Turkey Panini was just better in taste. The reason I'm giving a 4/5 stars is although everything was mostly perfect, my friends encountered a rude staff member who couldn't give them the time of day when they asked about certain items from their menu, since it was our first time there.
