The technology they use is very new, so expect that to relflect the price, especially if you have insurance like United Concordia who doesn't like to pay for anything other than a routine cleaning and the most basic type of filling (even then, they only pay half). If you get the new type of fillings, with the ceramic prints... they're pretty amazing. United Concordia will cover part of it, but not all, so be mindful of your insurance. Since it's my back molars, I needed the stronger filling, so it was worth it in the end for me. This office is awesome, but not all offices in the "Smile Generation" portal are as good, so be careful when choosing a doctor on the portal.

Kim and Dr. Kickish were both so pleasant and patient. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. All service prices are discussed up front so there are no surprises and they even have an in house plan that makes sense. They are NOT the pushy "gotta have this done" and "let's up sell"dentists I've been to. They seem to genuinely care and I felt right at home here! At my visit to the dental office of Caitlin Wild, I clearly explained that I only wanted treatment that was covered by my dental insurance. Despite making that request, I was subsequently charged more than $230 for treatment that I did not want and did not believe I had authorized. That was extremely frustrating. When a patient specifically communicates that they want to limit treatment to what their insurance covers, the expectation is that the office will clearly explain what is and is not covered and obtain the patient's agreement before proceeding with additional treatment that could result in an out-of-pocket charge. I was also concerned by what I perceived as a strong emphasis on recommending crowns rather than fillings. In my experience, the recommendations seemed more aggressive than I expected, and I felt that I was not being given enough reassurance that less extensive treatment options were being adequately considered. I believe patients should feel that they are making their own healthcare decisions--not that they are being pressured into expensive procedures. Dental treatment can be costly, and patients deserve clear explanations of their options, their expected insurance coverage, and their potential out-of-pocket costs before treatment is performed. My purpose in sharing this experience is not to tell anyone what decision to make about this dental office. Rather, I want other patients to be aware of the importance of asking questions, confirming insurance coverage, getting treatment costs in writing, and making sure they explicitly understand and approve any procedure before it is performed. Unlike your standard medieval dungeon, the office was not equipped with torture devices, very few screams could be heard from behind closed doors, and the staff was friendly. Though they charged more for oral surgery but never used a scalpel they just yanked the teeth. Also, they neglected to give stitches, maybe for one tooth removal bet, use the other side of your mouth unfortunately, it was on both sides of my mouth, so expect to have gauze in your mouth so the blood clot stays for at least three days. Also, expect no painkillers..... don't even expect ibuprofen 500, go take some OTC Advil and Tylenol, and you'll be fine.... Then when you text them "because your mouth is swollen" they will argue with you over text and try to explain to you why they didn't give you any pain relief or any stitches or any antibiotics because on tooth was infected. So feel free to risk it.
