The Scarry and Sad part of about it is the people who are either too preoccupied or too stupid to realize that they are being taken for in this dental office. I was a victim. My insurance paid for my treatment in full, 100%. Dr Gibbs claimed that my Insurance only pays a portion that I would need to pay the difference before my procedure. I paid the difference. I looked up my insurance coverage and was covered 100%. He knew all along the fee for my procedure. it was on the Proposal Treatment Plan he gave to me prior to my procedure. He is a scam artist, not a dentist! I reported him to BBB , My dental Insurance and The Florida Office of the Inspector General. I did get a refund only because I altered them to the fact of what they practice. BE AWARE AND WEARY with this dental office.

Kim and Dr. Kickish were both so pleasant and patient. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. All service prices are discussed up front so there are no surprises and they even have an in house plan that makes sense. They are NOT the pushy "gotta have this done" and "let's up sell"dentists I've been to. They seem to genuinely care and I felt right at home here! I returned for a second visit as I needed a tooth extracted. I'm not a great patient and even have fainted before, so I let them know my concerns. They are fast, friendly, efficient, and honest. They also play funny pet videos to distract you from the typical unpleasantness of the dentist. They offer early and late hours and Saturday hours. One time a family member got x-rays from a different dentist who said they needed a ton of fillings. She loves every patient, will talk and listen to you and you feel you are in good hands. Most importantly Dr Pojtek is so ethical. If your tooth can be saved with a filling which she makes much less money, she will save your tooth. Most dentist offices want to put a crown on every tooth, not Dr Pojtek. My 80-year-old father recently visited the office seeking a straightforward and affordable treatment plan. He currently has an upper denture and a lower partial with two remaining attachment teeth that need extraction. The goal was to create a new upper denture and a new lower implant-supported denture, with two implants intended to support and stabilize the new lower denture. We fully understood that he would require bone grafting beforehand due to significant bone loss. My father does not have dental insurance and trusted the office to provide an honest and appropriate treatment plan. Instead, he was presented with a proposal totaling nearly $26,000. As his daughter, and someone with extensive dental knowledge, I was honestly baffled after reviewing the treatment plan and panoramic X-rays. One of the most concerning issues was the use of dental code D7210, which is intended for the surgical removal of an erupted tooth requiring bone removal, tooth sectioning, or flap elevation. The office proposed using this code for the extraction of my father's two lower teeth and charged $419 per extraction under this surgical code. However, the panoramic X-ray and treatment plan clearly indicate that my father already has severe bone loss and requires bone grafting to preserve what little bone remains for future implant support. In this situation, using a surgical extraction code involving bone removal seems completely inappropriate when a simple extraction code could have been used instead. It felt less like patient-centered care and more like an attempt to maximize billing at the expense of an elderly patient who trusted their guidance. Sadly, this experience reinforced the growing concern many people have about large dental chains prioritizing production and overhead costs over honest, ethical treatment planning. I can only say that I am extremely disappointed in the handling of this case and in Dr. Smiley Jr. specifically. My father deserved transparency, compassion, a realistic treatment plan, and to be presented with alternative treatment options that could have better fit his age, condition, and financial situation not what felt like an excessive and unnecessary financial burden.

Started off with the staff spending about 30 minutes trying to verify my insurance. It was pretty simple, Delta Dental through my wife's policy. I sat in the waiting room until they were able to sort it out. Then I am taken back for my cleaning where I am told that I am due for x-rays. I am then told it will be $65 for an additional panoramic x-ray because they do not have one and insurance does not cover it. I just had this done not too long ago in CA. I was then told if I did not say OK to it then they could not clean my teeth. I asked if they could get it from my previous dentist's office and she said they could, but we already have wasted 25 minutes of my appointment looking up my insurance. I was also told Flouride for the cleaning would be an additional $25 but that was optional. I felt like I was buying a car verses getting my teeth cleaned. I picked up my phone and got out of the chair and went to the front desk. Where I let the staff know that I have never been to a dentist like this and my wife and I would be going somewhere else. I would not reccomend this place to anynone, not even to have my dog's teethe cleaned. Sorry but true!
