I have one near me but this place is 100x cuter! And the staff was very engaged and greeted us right when we walked in. I ordered a bubble waffle as always and my husband got advice on the viet coffee. We sat down to enjoy the ambiance, which is very clean and fun, with plants and good lighting and photogenic places to sit. They have games & little toy machines too! It makes you want to stay awhile. We went when it wasnt busy so we had our pick of the seats, but i could imagine it getting packed. I definitely hope to come back soon!
R&B Tea is a tea shop. They have over 1,500 locations. This one is located in La Mirada. They have a variety of drinks including milk & fruit teas, fresh fruit teas, slush drinks, flavored sparkling water drinks, cheese foam drinks, matcha drinks, lemonades, blended drinks, and yakult. They also have egg waffles in a variety of flavors including chocolate, oreo, chocolate, cheese cream, and matcha. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cheese Cream and with no boba. This was excellent. Rich and creamy with perfect brown sugar flavor and nice balance with the milk. The cheese cream added a nice creamy, sweet, and salty flavor. Service was great. Was greeted upon entry. I was also asked if I had a phone number with them to which I said no. They then asked if I wanted to sign up and so I inputted my info onto the tablet. Shop is small but spacious. There wasn't anyone else in there when I went. There were a few tables inside. Each table had a Connect 4 game. Some tables had card games. There's also counter top seating with a couple of high top chairs. They also have a few crane claw machines in the corner of the shop. I enjoyed the Brown Sugar Milk with Cheese Cream. Will be back for another visit!
Simply good if not the BEST fruit tea I've ever had and a size definitely worth price I will definitely stop by every time. I'm in the area. Very impressed.

The sweetness of the drink can be adjusted according to your preferences. SERVICE: The staff at the counter are always helpful and greet you with a smile. AMBIANCE: This place is relatively new to the area - clean. There are a few tables inside, but I noticed that most orders are for takeout. PARKING: Located within a complex of several establishments, there is parking directly in front of the store, but it may fill out quickly. However, there are several parking options available within the compound. Obviously a great stop for a quick boba run!
I ordered their Wintermelon Green Milk Tea 75% sweetened. I did wish the tea flavor was stronger, but still a solid drink spot. The 75% was the perfect sweetness level for me. I was debating between a drink in Stormy series that looked unique and refreshing, but it was too cold - will definitely have to try one in the summer. Service was quick with our orders and the worker was friendly. They also have a kiosk in front that you can order at. The interior is clean and modern, with a few tables to sit at with some games such as Connect 4. There are a few cute mini claw machine games in the shop as well.
R& B Tea is easily the best bubble place in the area. The Boba is so fresh no matter what time of day you come in. My go to drink is the mango stormy. All of the stormy drinks are some type of slushy with a cheese cream. I know that sounds a little different, but it's so good. The mango stormy tastes just like a mango lassi. All of the drinks on the menu are really affordable compared to other Boba places in the area. Not to mention that they come in generous portions. There's plenty of seating inside if you're looking for somewhere to study. There's usually only one person behind the counter running the register and making the drinks. However, they go as fast as they can, and I've never waited more than five minutes for a drink. If you're in the area, & looking for a sweet treat. R&B tea is definitely it.
12/16/2024 - [3.5 stars] We got the Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea and Kumquat Lemon Iced Tea. Even with the sweet aloe and crystal boba toppings, I found that the drinks were sweet enough without tasting overwhelmingly sugary. The drinks here tasted better than at other RnB locations I've been to and are definitely better than the Ding Tea in the same plaza. It does not top my boba list but it's a solid option to have in the area, especially if you don't want to venture all the way to the SGV or OC for your milk tea/fruit tea fix. Service was fast and friendly, and the staff was patient with us as we decided on what to order. Also, it seems like a good place to hang out with friends or even to study. There are 4 tables as well as benches for additional seating. Each table had 2 to 3 games (Uno, Connect 4, etc.) and the Wi-Fi password displayed.
Got the Oreo chocolate stormy 70% sweetness and it was perfect sweetness for me not super sweet. Great service. it's clean and there are some seating inside. Plenty of parking
I've been here before and it's a solid spot for boba. It's nothing too special or standout, but it's good, consistent, and pretty affordable. I really liked their Jasmine Green Tea with Cheese Cream. Aesthetic is nice and quiet and a good place to chat with friends. There's plenty of food places in the area and even in the same plaza so it's a great after meal drink.
This is my fav go to spot for boba- I always come here with my cousins & family. It's small & honestly perfect for just chilling and hanging out, esp bc they have board games you can play while sipping the boba Their stormy drinks are my absolute fav- would recommend the Strawberry, Mango, Oreo, Passionfruit, Taro, Coconut and Avocado. the flavors are never bitter, overpowering or too sweet- perfect mix of cream they use + the fruit or whatnot. It's always refreshing & I don't ever get tired of drinking- & I'm picky. Oh yeah and the ppl that work there are always nice. It's always clean & cool in there. U can sign up for points and get small discounts the more u go!
I had to do some homework and I needed a place to study so I finally made it to this place. Ive been wanting to come here for. While and i am just upset that I did not come any sooner ! The taro milk tea was delicious! The service was great and it they had good music ! Definitely going back

I was so excited to see an R&B in la mirada as I go into that area often. I originally loved R&B from garden grove. I realized that each location might have slight differences in the menu just depends on the owner. They have an electronic ordering but you can also order up front. I tried the Thai tea boba that is blended with cream and a honeydew milk tea. Both were perfectly sweet and the boba had a very good soft chew. The owner was also very sweet and gave great service. Definitely check it out!
I love this tea shop. If you're a tea lover, this place is a must-visit! They have an incredible variety of teas, so there's something for everyone. The shop is spotless, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is genuinely friendly and happy to help you find the perfect drink. I'll definitely be back! This is my fav go to spot for boba- I always come here with my cousins & family. The milk tea here is always fresh and flavorful! The customer service is amazing! The egg waffle no matter the flavor is so delicious! The other drinks are just as great! I highly recommend coming here for all your boba needs!! This is the perfect place for an after school snack or just to hangout with friends! read more

So happy there is an R&B close to my house! I originally tried this place in SD and wasn't able to find one nearby until now. The place is next to a Stater Bros in the shopping plaza. When I walked in, was greeted by a lady. She was super nice! I love the stormy series here. I ordered the dragonfruit stormy and a strawberry stormy. The dragonfruit is left sweet than the strawberry but still really good! I always get extra cheese cuz love the flavor of the combination of the fruit and cheese. The strawberry stormy tastes like strawberry cheesecake. It's refreshing with the sweetness from the fruit and the saltiness from the cheese. You must try!! This place was super clean and looked really new. There's a kiosk where you can order on your own but also can order at the front counter. Super excited to have R&B nearby! read more

HOLY MOTHER OF BOBA!!! I finally got to try R&B and I love it SOOO MUCH!! The place is very cute and clean, and the workers are so friendly. They have so many options, but I got their Taro Stormy which is like a slushee but with cheese cream and let me tell you, ITS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HAD. Don't let the thought of cheese cream get to you, bc it tastes amazing. Your tastebuds will rejoice. read more
I came here for the grand opening since it was opened earlier than other boba spots. There was plenty of parking. The interior was nice and clean but limited amount of seating. Service was great. The employee was very nice and patient as he waited for my order. I liked that he mentioned the amount of ice because I always forget to request less ice. I got the Jasmine Green Tea and Wintermelon Green Milk Tea. They were both good drinks. read more

My boyfriend and I were about to stop by for a drink, but as we walked up to the entrance, a worker sitting by the window got up, turned off the 'open' sign, and locked the door -- even though there were still 15 minutes left before closing time. She didn't say anything to us and just sat back down afterward. It felt unprofessional and pretty rude. read more

Competition... been coming to R&B Tea and to Ding Tea religiously. R&B was super clean packed, I was able to use the restroom and clean up!!! Seems like a small thing, but these things count and add up fast. My son got this Chocolate drink cold and is loving it. He actually wants to try it HOT! read more

Been coming here a few times. Place is very clean and modern. I always order for my family and would typically come in during lunch hours. I always order about 5drinks and they usually have 3 people working there when I come in, but this time it was only one person. He was very nice and professional in my opinion holding it down by himself, so it took a while since he finished making about 5 drinks before my order. I love their dragon fruit stormy! We've tried their Oreo chocolate stormy in the past and my kids loved it. This time I order my kids the classic Thai tea. However, their drinks have never disappointed us. They have free WiFi if you wish to stay. Will be coming back again for their stormy drinks! read more

Best Boba tea shop I've ever been to! Okay I must admit that I am not a fan of boba. Happily, I do not need to be in order to like this place. Unlike my nieces, my wife and I did not order any boba with our drinks. From beginning to end, our experience at R & B Tea in La Mirada was simply the BEST!! The shop itself looks great inside. Very clean with a few tables and lovely decor. Service was top notch!! Took a bit longer to get our drinks, but there were 8 of us. The wait was totally worth every minute!! We all agreed that our specific drinks were terrific. Not a sad person among us when it came to our drink choices. Personally, I can only comment on my drink. I chose their Dragonfruit Stormy, and I was blown away by how refreshing it was!! Without a doubt, it was the best darn drink I've ever had at any boba tea shop around the world!! No boba or any other add-ons needed in order to make this drink good. Absolutely loved it!! This was the first of many stops we will be making at R&B Tea whenever we visit our family in La Mirada. Strawberry Matcha Latte ($6): I decided to get this drink as the menu said that this was one of the most popular drinks. The drink was good, but not outstanding: I could taste a slight matcha flavor and the strawberry puree was more tart than sweet (which I thought was a miss). I added boba for an extra charge; the boba was soft, slight sweet and chewy - exactly what you want in good boba. Would I get it again? Only if I was in the area. For context, my "standard" when it comes to "Strawberry Matcha Lattes" are "Boba Guy's" version; and R&B's was not as good in comparison. For the price though of $6, the value is definitely there. * Food: 3/5 stars * Price: 4/5 stars * Parking: 5/5 stars * Ambience: 4/5 stars * Service: 5/5 stars * Value: 4/5 stars The cafe was clean and well-kept. There are several tables inside to sit at and no outdoor seating. Shout-out to our server who was a one-man show, taking orders and making drinks. He was kind, fast, and efficient. Bold move entering a plaza with a coffee shop and another tea shop. Today was my second time here for an iced unsweetened jasmine green tea. Good stuff. One size only except for their special large drink thats more the size of a super gulp. Only a few food items like egg rolls and a small assortment of Taiwanese baked goods. My first experience here and it truly did not disappoint! Our server was super sweet and made sure we liked our drinks~ I tried their honeydew milk tea. It was very well executed and tasted very yum! Their honeydew milk tea is one of the best that I've tried. It's less on the sugary side and tastes more like actual tea! The inside is clean and it's a nice & chill hangout spot for yourself or with others. I would definitely come again for their HD milk tea. read more

We ordered a brown sugar boba milk with cheese cream and it just tastes like milk. I know it's milk based but I didn't know I ordered a glass of milk. Even the boba had no flavor and wasn't chewy at all. Very disappointed since I've been craving boba this whole week. read more

My girlfriend and I came to try this place a few weeks ago and have been back 5 times since . The girl cashier is always so sweet and helpful. We got talking with the owner today and she was so grateful for us supporting their business. The drinks are really good. I usually get my drinks half sweet as a personal preference. It is definitely worth a try for La Mirada and Whittier locals. So far the Honey Black Milk tea has been my favorite. Will definitely be back. read more
