Our floor drain started to back up whenever we'd do laundry. Summers was able to get a plumber out to us right after the weekend, since it wasn't urgent I didn't mind waiting a couple days anyway. Our arrival window had to be moved back a little, but I was updated when I called to check in, no big deal there. Everyone I spoke to was polite, courteous and professional. We were lied to, they said $1500 to $2500 to fix for out A/C unit... we called a friend to see if they were telling the truth- No they lied... it was only $125 for the parts and $275 labor....Plus we had to pay Summers $136 to replace 1 wire... a whole role costs $8...and then they were supposed to give us a proposal and Thank Goodness we never got one. My husband called today and canceled the monthly $12 fee for them coming out because we will never use them again and feel we were also lied to on our furnace- because we are Senior Citizens they took advantage of us... why were we paying a fee when they charged us anyway... read more

Summers responded quickly when I contacted them regarding our flooded basement. We were on vacation and came home to find our sump pump quit and water surrounded the entire basement. At random, we took a chance by calling Summers and they had a plumber out within 45 minutes. Dan was able to find the problem quickly, put in a temporary pump to get the water down, ordered us a new one with a back- up battery, and called a restoration company which was at our house within the hour. Frank responded to my message right away and came out within a few days after asking. I had a non emergency call and they performed exceptionally. The technician Mike came out and looked over the system and notified us if anything was wrong. We had proper airflow and just a system that is not efficient. He was very upfront with everything and provided recommendations to help our situation but they did not need to perform any service. I contacted Summer via Yelp on a freezing Sunday afternoon (1/9/22) because my furnace was cycling on and off. They responded immediately and we scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. I requested a tune up and naturally hoped the furnace did not need repair (it's only 10 years old). Lyle and Mike were awesome! They were courteous, friendly, efficient, and helpful. In addition to the maintenance that resolved my cycling issue, they saved me money by recommending that I use inexpensive filters that cost a fraction of the ones I typically buy and work better. The higher priced filter was actually contributing to the problem. Summers was having a $59 furnace tune up special and that's all I paid. I received great service from honest people who didn't take advantage of me by recommending services and repairs that I didn't need. Of course, that should be a given, but we all know that it isn't. While the technician was knowable, I really didn't like the upsell that this company along with many other companies do. Instead of telling someone what they really need, they push to buy items you don't need at this time. While I only needed one item on my furnace replaced, I was pushed into considering replacing my 14 year old furnace when it didn't need to be replaced and pushed their whole house inspection plans (which I never asked for or wanted).
