Got lamb/beef gyro platter, falafel and chicken tenders from there recently. A bit on the pricey side, but the portion sizes make up for it pretty well. Overall quality was very good, and it's a nice variation from the more Middle Eastern style gyro places I typically get from (though not terribly different). We had a great dinner at Summit Greek Grill! We had been there many years ago and tried it again. The food is still very good. The outdoor dining is great! We had both Spinach pie and lemon chicken which were delicious. We started with hummus and finished with Baklava . The dinner comes with a Greek salad and a side dish! Great value. read more

I love greek food and I have been eye bowling this place for a while. I will be honest I was planning to go to a different restaurant while I was in summit but after I saw the people sitting out in the patio I couldn't resist and had to try it. My overall experience was great, service as really fast and their food looks so pretty and taste amazing. They have a make your own salad bar and their toppings were exotic and they looked very tasty. It is a BYOB restaurant and a wine store is just down the corner. My friend and I were in the mood to get some nice authentic Mediterranean food so we figured that we would give Summit Greek Grill a chance. When we first entered we were politely greeted by the workers behind the counter and were given menus that we could peruse before ordering at the counter. After you order, you get a number to bring to your table and a server delivers your food. Instead of a meal, I ordered both the fried calamari and tzatziki dip appetizers. I thought the fried calamari was extremely salty and lacked tenderness. The tzatziki dip was very fresh but I wish there was more pita to dip it with. Since Summit Greek Grill has breakfast all day, my friend ordered a taylor ham and egg sandwich on pita bread and she thought it was very tasty and the eggs were nicely cooked. Bonus this place also has those fun soda machines where you can pick your base soda and flavor. Next time I am in Summit, I would go back to the Summit Greek Grill, I would just try something else from there decently sized menu. read more

Husband and I had dinner here recently and were blown away. My husband is Greek and his mother was an amazing cook, so he is picky! Recently stopped by the Summit Greek Grill. I walk past the place every day and they are usually crowded during lunch and dinner times. Very busy and hard to place an order over the phone. Ordered a few items to go. The Greek Salad with Yeero meat (beef and Lamb) The salad was ok. Veggies were fresh but not grape leaves which is usually included in a Greek Salad. The meat was the pressed gyro meat. A bit dry but they did give a good amount. Also, the size of the salad was large enough for two people. I also ordered a side order of "pork stick". It was served in a container with a piece of pita, some lettuce, tomato and onion and a wedge of lemon. I thought this was dry and a bit fatty for my taste. Not sure what I was expecting but the size was sufficient for the price. Lastly, we had Greek Grill Panini. This was very good. Plenty of chicken with bacon and aole dressing and a side grilled potatoes. I think the sandwich was the best part. Prices are a bit high but this is Summit. I've been wanting to try Summit Greek Grill for a coupe of months. I DOOR DASH in the area on the weekends and this is one of my pick up spots. It always smells SO good in here whenever I come and the food always looks really fresh and delicious. Finally got a couple of my friends together for a weeknight dinner. We loved the food and the server (I wish I could remember his name) was very polite and friendly. I ordered a Yeero platter. My gal pls had the honey mustard chicken panini and the spinach pizza. After a great meal, we were then offered Nutella/fruit crepes on the house! What an added delight. We will certainly be returning. Everything was so delicious. Got a chicken wrap with gyro chicken and vegetables. The chicken was so tough it was almost like a jerky, and didn't even taste like chicken at all. Worst of all, it was so salty is was totally inedible. They also market themselves as a Greek restaurant, but when you walk in they have a menu board with deli sandwiches, smoothies, Asian food, and tacos. Sorry, but this is not what you call Greek food. It's more Iike halal style meat and seasoning that you get at the food carts. No offense, but they need to market it differently and remove Greek from their business name. If you don't know what Greek food is like then obviously you'd think the food here is "good Greek food". they cook/fry with soy oil I wanted crepes but they use soy oil in the crepes too, not sure on pancakes. The entire grill was soy oil soaked, so I stayed safe with a salad (apples, berries, blue cheese). The salad was huge, some dark greens on top, but most of it was iceberg lettuce; about 50% of the lettuce was wilted & ick. The apples, blackberries, some blueberries & strawberries were fresh, a few strawberries were old & soggy. Cheese was good. I ate what I could. Mom had an omelette & homefries; said it was okay, mushrooms were fresh. When I walked by the counter, the guy asked how everything was, and I told him honestly about the lettuce being wilty, and he said oh okay. Here is where they could have offered something; apology, some cookies, or ?? But nada. They might have good burgers & gyros, but I would not go back. The restaurant is very kid friendly and a BYOB, and I love that the seating converts to an open air atmosphere with the nicer weather coming. The staff was young, hard working, and very friendly. We weren't hassled at all for catching up over a glass of wine before ordering our food. To order, you must stand in line and then they will bring your food out to you when it is ready. We decided to start with the trio appetizer of hummus, baba ganoush, and tzatziki served with warm pita bread. It was a nice sized taste of Greek basics. All were good, but really lacked garlic and flavor. Our salad was similar...a nice size, but not spectacular with packet of dressing which we knew in advance. So the ordering process is a little strange and somewhat hectic when it's busy (you order from the main counter and then wait for them to bring it to your table). But the young guy who took our order was very efficient and quick. I like when people read back my order to me - it makes me feel fuzzy inside. Husband and I both got gyro platters, and a side of mac and cheese for the little one -- who incidentally ONLY eats mac and cheese. So I was thrilled to see it there in the side order window. We also got some fries, and a side house salad. Everything was great - yummy tzatziki sauce, crispy and delicious falafel, and the lamb/beef gyro meat was excellent. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken but I am a white-meat girl for the most part. Husband said it was really good and I was just being a poultry elitist. The only part of the meal that I think could be improved upon is the pita. I've just had better - I can't put my finger on what it was missing. Now onto dessert - we were enticed by the large dessert chalkboard, and decided against our better judgment to get two Nutella crepes with bananas and ice cream, and rainbow sherbet for little weenie. I took pictures of everything except the crepes -- they just didn't last long enough to be captured! All in all, it's a great little Greek joint with one of those super futuristic soda machines that let you concoct all kinds of disgusting flavored sodas -- it is fun to use, but I stuck to diet Dr. Pepper :) Staff is pleasant and helpful. I am so so so happy that the greek grille came to summit. Ive been coming here since it opened and i always order something with falafel. The salads are humongous, all fresh ingredients in an enormous bowl. All salads are "customizable" with protein and dressing which i like. The falafel sandwich is a little different than a tradition falafel. It's more like a greek gyro meets falafel. It comes wrapped in a fluffy gyro style pita and smothered with tzaziki, a little unconventional but still absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loves the gyro platter with roasted potatoes. All the food is fresh and flavorful. My only complain is that the counter area and ordering can get a little chaotic. There is no wait staff, so when you walk in just place your order at the counter and they will give you a number to place on your table. Then they bring out the food when it's ready. read more

All the food was fresh and the service was crazy quick. You order at the counter and get a number. No fuss and casual atmosphere. Great for families with kids. Not sure why there is a line out the door at the Summit Diner next door when you can get a healthier and quicker meal in this great, sunny, beautiful spot!
