The room was spotless, and the air conditioning worked great, which made for a comfortable night's sleep. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the manager went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent customer service like that makes a lasting impression. The only downside was that a guest in the room next to us woke us from a sound sleep around 1:00 a.m. and was quite noisy for a while. We don't hold the motel responsible for that, especially since we never called the front desk to let them know there was a problem. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would gladly stay here again. The outstanding staff, clean rooms, and comfortable accommodations made it a great value.

Not a huge place, but clean and quiet enough. I was given a room in the corner on the first floor. It had a small refrigerator which I was not expecting along with a microwave I was pleasantly surprised. A small air conditioning unit in the room helped with the oppressive heat outside. I was also able to park my car immediately outside my room which helped me feel safe. Still, I slept on top of the bed covers and used my own pillow. Service was friendly and I was given a token for a free coffee and salad bar trip at a nearby restaurant The Hi-lo. There are two little towels in the bathroom, the size of a hand towel. There's no Kleenex. They gave us 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper with no refills. There are dust balls beside bed and behind the dresser there are items dropped by previous guests. The TV doesn't work. The phone doesn't work. The hallways are dirty like they haven't been vacuumed in a month. This place is horrible. I understand they're not doing the breakfast because of Covid, but they could make some concession or lower the rate or give guest a gift certificate for breakfast somewhere else. The room looked a little dated. They had towels of different sizes and travel size shampoo and conditioner. The three major issues we had are as follows. 1. The light in the bathroom stopped working this morning ~9:30am. When I'd turn the switch on/off the light flashed and didn't fully turned on. We had no issues with it last night and when my friend woke up earlier in the morning ~7am. 2. My friend thought the mattress was too soft as her back hurt when she woke up 3. The wall near the tv and carpet were dirty They have a free continental breakfast, which is on the smaller side compared to other hotels we stayed at in the past. We decided to get Starbucks instead so we didn't try it. The people working at the front desk were friendly. I told the guy working there this morning about the light and he said he'd take a look and replace it (if needed, which i suspect it will be). Other pluses were plenty free parking and close proximity to Starbucks Unfortunately the issues above outweigh the pluses so we wouldn't stay/recommend staying overnight again.

The sign says no overnight parking but also states 8-hour parking limit so was a bit confusing. We decided to take our chances and parked on the truck side in a designated RV parking site and stayed the night. Tons of semis with running generators which was drowned out by the highway noise. Both were easily cancelled with earplugs. But look, we just needed a place to crash to get off the road and avoid driver fatigue. For that we much appreciated the opportunity. Bathrooms are clean. It felt safe. Also, an amazing sunrise and views of Mt Shasta. All and all, for a free night to "camp" we will probably use these rest areas for overnight stays again.

It is very well maintained from the grass, to the cleanliness of the restrooms, to the garbage being emptied on a regular basis. It feels safe to a woman traveling alone and I have even been known to rest my eyes here for a bit on long drives because it feels comfortable to do that here. There are lots of friendly seagulls that are obviously used to being fed by visitors and clean tables with some shade if you want to enjoy a bite to eat or just sit and relax outside a bit. I like the way the trucks are separate from the cars so you don't have to listen to the noise from the engines or deal with the smells. There is also a well maintained pet relief area here as well. If you need the restroom or just a respite, this is a good place.
