Everyone at Atlas is friendly and caring! Recently I had my left hip replaced (I'm now the bionic…read moreman) and with my previous experience at a different physical therapy provider, I elected to go back to Atlas, even though they are out of network so I have to pay all of the cost out of pocket. They are that good! Tito, Jessica and Brittany are all very concerned about your recovery and on occasion, when it's needed will give you a little push to keep you moving ahead. They are all very positive and supportive and knowledgeable as well as friendly. Couldn't ask for more!

Good things don't always last forever: I asked that my new PT referral to be submitted to Atlas PT…read morebecause I had such positive success in the past. The new referral was for joint pain in different joints that were addressed in the past. However, I ran into a difficult situation trying to set up the initial evaluation (that generates a recommendation for further PT sessions). The office staff stalled in a number of different ways that communicated that they were not available to receive any new clients. I was told that Dr Tito Dith, PT had such a full schedule of clients that I should call back in 3 months! The staff person would not schedule the initial evaluation as Dr Dith was overbooked and that the practice had lost 4 of their 5 PT assistants due to their taking higher paying positions elsewhere. Unfortunately, this story is currently being repeated over and over again in established practices that is a real game changer. The only way to prevent support staff from leaving for higher pay is to offer them that competitive compensation in the first place. I do not know all of the circumstances, only what the office staff is willing to share. As for me, I learned enough while I was their client to feel like I am able to devise a productive and beneficial home program. This will require that I investigate what the internet has to offer. It would be helpful for a pro to oversee my home program. But in this case Tito Dith has made it clear that he is unavailable. So, based on what the staff is currently reporting, I cannot recommend Atlas Physical Therapy. This is the reason that I have updated my review and awarded only one star.

I had a fractured finger, which after a month, the bone was still showing a crack on the x-ray, and…read moreI was already losing range of motion, with pain and swelling. My orthopedic provider told me I should start hand therapy (physical therapy) right away to avoid long-term problems. They gave me a generic referral write up and suggested a couple of providers near my home. That's when the real challenge began. I called those two providers and provider after provider from my insurance's in-network list, but most didn't answer, didn't call back, didn't take my insurance (even though my insurance said they would), or couldn't see me for weeks. I felt stuck and frustrated until I called ATI. The customer service rep on the phone quickly checked my insurance and offered me an evaluation appointment the same day or just a few days later, with a physical therapist experienced in hand injuries. The therapy sessions at ATI made a huge difference. The staff was friendly and supportive. They guided me through exercises, gave me printouts, and even provided an app with videos and daily tracking, which helped me stay on track at home. Four weeks later, my orthopedic doctor said I had fully recovered and lifted all restrictions. I still have some numbness and tingling, but I understand that's normal for my injury and may take many months to get back closer to what it used to feel. When I called ATI after the final orthopedics assessment to share the assessment and cancel my last physical therapy appointment; they handled it right away with no fee even thou the appointment was a few hours later. I'm truly grateful for their help. If you're in a similar situation and frustrated with finding a good physical therapist/hand therapy that is available and takes your insurance, I highly recommend calling ATI. They made a stressful time much easier for me.

He does not speak English, and the staff did not make any effort to accommodate his language needs. We called and communicated many times that we needed an in person translator but they chose to ignore us. Every time we visited they acted clueless. I ended up having to tell them that my dad needs a translator EVERYTIME. Communication was very difficult for him, and he left feeling confused and unsupported. It very disappointing because we pay so much and we aren't treated the same. I hope the clinic can improve their approach to patients who need translation or additional assistance, as everyone deserves clear communication and respectful care.

My expectations were low based on past experience and hearing story after story after story of poor treatment from medical professionals regarding this disease, but I was desperate and getting so sick. I saw a Bridget Noorishad who was a god send in my life at that moment. Due to lack of funding for date, most doctors are misinformed and cling to false beliefs about the disease to misdiagnose patients. It's a problem that leads to death unfortunately. Bridget wasn't familiar with this issue (most aren't) and held some common misbeliefs as do almost all medial professionals with the exception of ER doctors for some reason they seem to know it more. But what was amazing about Bridget is that she listened to what I had to say and I could tell she genuinely cared (such a relief and so refreshing given my expectations and experience dealing with this). She was skeptical at first as she should be, but she did the right thing and I don't think she knows how grateful I was! She said okay can you give me a minute and she left the room for awhile to go investigate and get to the truth. She humbled herself and did what all doctors should do in this situation. After all, they can't know everything. She took the time and care to figure it out and returned with honestly the best possible treatment plan she could have. After being misdiagnosed for well over a year thanks to false outdated info and doctors who cling to it, this was EXACTLY what I needed in that moment. I couldn't be happier with the care I received here and while treatment was less than effecthve that was not her fault. It was the right treatment just too late and I went too long with insufficient treatment. It's complicated but I just want to say I 100% recommend this walk in. The care FAR exceeded all others I've visited in the area. Thank you for taking me seriously....all too often that's not the case with this issue and you have NO IDEA just how much I needed that! Edit Added:...Oh and I should add that she was even willing to go above and beyond and offered to stay late so my boyfriend could stop by on his way home and talk to her. She isn't a family therapist (or at least not to my knowledge) and definitely did not have to do that, but thank god there are actually good people on the world who understand the importance of their profession and take it so seriously! I'm telling you it's extremely rare to see a medical professional who is as dedicated
