The new referral was for joint pain in different joints that were addressed in the past. However, I ran into a difficult situation trying to set up the initial evaluation (that generates a recommendation for further PT sessions). The office staff stalled in a number of different ways that communicated that they were not available to receive any new clients. I was told that Dr Tito Dith, PT had such a full schedule of clients that I should call back in 3 months! The staff person would not schedule the initial evaluation as Dr Dith was overbooked and that the practice had lost 4 of their 5 PT assistants due to their taking higher paying positions elsewhere. Unfortunately, this story is currently being repeated over and over again in established practices that is a real game changer. The only way to prevent support staff from leaving for higher pay is to offer them that competitive compensation in the first place. I do not know all of the circumstances, only what the office staff is willing to share. As for me, I learned enough while I was their client to feel like I am able to devise a productive and beneficial home program. This will require that I investigate what the internet has to offer. It would be helpful for a pro to oversee my home program. But in this case Tito Dith has made it clear that he is unavailable. So, based on what the staff is currently reporting, I cannot recommend Atlas Physical Therapy. This is the reason that I have updated my review and awarded only one star.

I am doing really great since I came here. Dr. Rushing gave me every tool I needed for home therapy, since back injuries take a loonnngggg time to heal as said by him and my medical doctor. I have gotten to the point where I don't need take Advil anymore, and I am more energized. I am even back to hiking with a day pack-with no back problems. Thanks to this place I'm feeling wonderful, and I will surely suggest it to any of my coworkers.

Nope turned out to be basically "hey this is what we do as naturopaths or chiroprators, sports therapy ... Maybe if more people showed up would have been more of a discussion and less of a fishing expedition on their side.. but was done in less than 15 minutes... so not a lot of waste of time but will be hard pressed to consider them for that alone. Therapeutic Associates North Creek is by far the stand out facility. The thing that sets it apart is the specific expertise and the investment in people (their staff) that becomes evident on your first visit. Dr. Amber Dodd is simply the best at what she does. She is the PT that our entire family requests when we need post-op care, treatment for sprains, herniated disc, sciatica, frozen shoulder, whatever we need she helps us. She's not the only super-star in this office, but if you need the best, she's the schedule you want to reserve.

And yes, I told them about it both times. The first time, concern was shown and efforts were made to modify things. The second time I was hurt by the different exercises, I decided never to return because I no longer trusted them and felt like I was being funneled into a "one size fits all" exercise program that was clearly troublesome for me. When the business called me because I didn't make any more appointments, I explained I wasn't coming back because I had been hurt a second time. Then the business seemed to take this information from me lightly and said if I ever wanted to come back, give them a call. That will never happen as I don't trust them to help me. I greatly regret ever going here. Who wants to pay to be injured? I don't recommend this place. This is also the first physical therapy place I've gone to where sometimes your appointment is with an assistant and not the physical therapist, which is a practice I don't like.

Scoliosis continues to progress and cause problems throughout your life. Your regular primary physician is likely to send you and your back pain to one of those physical therapists who don't have the needed specialized knowledge to deal with the problems someone with scoliosis has. I have been a yoga instructor for 20 years and Gaylin has helped me immeasurably through various injuries and most recently, with rehabbing a knee replacement.
