I like that they do their own imaging, too, which saves a lot of time. The physical therapists are really hit and miss. Some of them are really good and some of them are clearly just going through the motions. It is really hard to schedule with the therapists you want (and they don't tell you when you're first scheduling that you'll have a different person each time.) They send you exercises to do at home, and will eventually update them if you ask. For me a lot of them were not really helpful. Some days it is very quiet and some days they are so busy that they're just running between patients. I would recommend asking for Madison or Jessie when scheduling, they are both really good.

Pretty hard to recommend a business practice that mistakenly loads the full months-long PT schedule…read morefor your recovery, and instructs you that all these are tasks you must perform on the day of surgery and the 2 weeks before your follow-up. When I called repeatedly and questioned that it looked pretty challenging immediately following surgery, and that several of the exercises like sets of "chair sits" on the day of surgery seemed excessive, I was told repeatedly by the PT staff, and the Dr covering for my surgeon, that "everyone complains about PT", and that if I didn't complete my PT, my surgery could be a failure, which I was also informed of at the surgery center the morning of the procedure. As a result of the PT error, I had torn meniscus, scar tissue and cartilage in my knee joint and 11 months of futile PT. I was never offered an acknowledgement of error or an apology.

The doctors at Atlas Pain Specialists are excellent, which is why I've continued coming here. They…read moreare knowledgeable, attentive, and take the time to listen and tailor treatment to my specific needs. I've received multiple injections from them, and they've been extremely effective in managing my pain. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and want to help improve quality of life, which I really appreciate. When you go into the office, the staff is friendly. One area that could really be improved is the coordination around prescription medications. My prescription is an injection that must be administered by a provider, and I've been trying to get this sorted out since January (it's now April). I've had to follow up multiple times and haven't received much communication in return. My pharmacy eventually closed out the prescription because they were unable to reach the office to coordinate shipping. I had also informed the office several times that I was due for my injection on the 26th (I receive it every three months), and I'm now several days overdue, with the prescription still not shipped from the specialty pharmacy. Improving communication and coordination with the pharmacy would make a big difference in the overall patient experience and help ensure treatments stay on schedule. I chose this office because of the quality of the doctors and the convenience of the location, and I truly hope this is an area that can be addressed. The care from the providers is outstanding, and with a more streamlined process on the administrative side, this would be an exceptional experience all around.
