I had actually planned to order a drink and stay awhile before class, but I felt so uncomfortable that I just wanted to pay and leave. I can absolutely take responsibility if I misunderstood the description of the roll I ordered, but that's also why being able to ask questions would've made such a difference. What I received was not at all what I expected, and I probably would have chosen something completely different had I felt like I had the opportunity to ask what was actually inside the rolls. I normally LOVE small, locally owned restaurants and was genuinely hoping this would become somewhere I'd come back to. Unfortunately, for a first-time customer, the experience made me feel like they couldn't wait for me to leave. I still left a $10 tip on a $21 bill, but I left hungry, disappointed, and honestly really upset by the entire experience.
