Actually love this place! The drinks are always so good! Love that they're all in a pretty large cup. Everything tasted so good! It was fairly quick to get our stuff even on a busy Sunday afternoon. We went at two and the only bad thing was there wasn't enough seating. So we took our stuff to go but that's no issue. They also have a few packaged Asian snacks to buy!

Incredible. They have soo many drinks. Everything I've tried has been awesome. Service is great! The shop is small & cozy with some outdoor seating as well. I've ordered delivery too, and the quality of the food and drinks is always very good. I think about their Vietnamese coffee every day, and their Taro smoothie tastes heavenly. I love you Sumo Snow

Located on a small strip mall on the SW corner of N Glendale Ave & N 43rd Ave, this Asian Food Court concept had its soft opening in Aug 2025 & formally opened in late Oct 2025. There are 5 Fast Service Asian vendors. Our drink, Flaming Dragon Slushie (mango lemonade & dragon fruit) was refreshing with the right balance of sweet & tartness - we added boba (additional charge) for a nice texture. The drink menu is creative using lots of Asian ingredients - looking forward to coming back to try more options.

So many choices!! Walked in to be greeted by a sweet young lady that walked us through the ordering process. It was our first time in Sumo Snow so we welcomed her guidance. At first glance, the establishment is well lit and spotlessly clean. The menu is up on the east wall and extensive. At first, we were the only customers inside but after we sat down to wait for our order, the place quickly filled up. After we got our food & beverages, we realized why this is a happening spot! Fo food we ordered the Hazelnut Chocolate cake & Pistachio Ricotta cake. The drinks; Hokkaido Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea & a Coconut Smoothie. All were delish except my favorite was not the Pistachio Cake. Just not my taste but my husband enjoyed it so basically it's a preference thing. We are excited to come back and try other flavors!!

Walking in was greeted with a smile. The worker was super friendly and nice asked if I'd like to try the new refresher. Which I did and I ordered it, it tasted amazing and just so fresh and sweet. The cup is really big so you'll be sipping on it for a while. Walking in there's seating and a giant menu of drinks to choose from. Definitely will be back again!!

Sumo Snow @sumosnow Boba Tea & Desserts in Surprise is so good for a cold drink and sweet treat on a hot day like today!! I've been eyeing this cute dessert shop and finally made it in for my first ever Korean Corn Dog! I have no regrets- my Potato Beef Dog was amazinggggg! These dogs are savory and sweet with a crisp shell of delicious cornmeal batter studded with French fry chunks and sprinkled with sugar. The flavor of the beef dog is very good too. This was such a good treat. I also got an Oat Dragonfruit Matcha that was so creamy and sweet with the matcha earthy and smooth. My kids wanted the Chipotle Beef Dog with hot sauce, the Horchata Frappe, and the Flaming Dragon Slushee. I took my food to go but there is a picture window bar seating area and tables and chairs inside and outside the shop. There are also restrooms. I loved their collection of cute Japanese make-at-home dessert boxes and Pocky sticks available for purchase as well. I'm so happy we're nearby. There are several more teas I need to try here. Service was very good here.

Let every moment be that moment, the moment in which you change the world, because of you. This being said, every time I visit here, the smiles and vibes are pure joy. Can we truly feel the good vibes? Is it just in our heads that a business is inviting and warm? Good questions. I have the answer too! We are the reason for being. Are we all so different, no we are more the same than different. We are emotionally driven creatures that crave warmth and light. We will gravitate towards that love and life. Located off the 303 and Bell Rd is a boba shop that spreads Joy one little bounce at a time. All the usual flavors are present when you think about that boba drink. Little eats and treats of all sizes are available. Usually seasonal some favorites such as the jelly flavored Valentine's Roll is only available in heart shaped love for that time of year. How do you take you milk tea? Many different flavor combinations exist and can be mixed with pre made choices on the menu board, or be creative and try something new and original. In the most recent months they have added matcha roll cake to the menu. The strawberries cake is so delicious. All their desserts are reasonably priced too at $4.95. What a steal truly? What's not to love? Stop in and check it out for your self. As I mentioned prior, the staff are unbelievably friendly and merry. They will go the extra mile to ensure that the drink you purchase is correct. Customer satisfaction is one of the highest priorities. Being a customer here makes an individual feel truly welcome for shopping here. The chain is very small with great expectations for more expansion. I can see it too. This is a local place to the state; so all your money aids a small business. What's not to love about boba and matcha? Come and get it all fulfilled in one place! The menu looks good on a hot summer day like today. Cool off with a peach iced matcha shaken, not stirred tea with or without boba. The watermelon freeze is epic and cools your mouth and lips all the way to your core. Let your cheeks get moist with strawberries and green tea all over ice. Over and over again the drink choices are endless. Summer seems endless here but can be happy if you have the right drink choice in your hand. Smile right you have a Sumo Snow Boba in your hand. If you don't come on over, or call ahead and they will deliver it right over to you; snap just like that! No excuses. While in Surprise for just a short time matcha is a delicious craving that I needed. It existed down the road from me too. The matcha roll here is delicious. It's fresh and can be purchased and frozen till needed later in the week. The matcha strawberries cheesecake is utter deliciousness. They even top off matcha cheesecake with whip cream and fresh strawberries. Not only can you purchase matcha joys here. They sell macaroons too. They are above average macaroons that are five dollars a box. They can be put in the fridge too, and snacked on all week. In this area of Surprise and surrounding it's nothing but a sea of suburbs and sunshine. There are no casinos maybe a park to walk the dog. With that being said the delivery services are used frequently here because of the fast paced process of the place. Unless your playing golf, which they deliver to the club houses if needed; it's the best way to boba in the area. This shop is truly busy busy. It's run perfectly professionally with great pride. They employed are very happy and treated well by the company. Your support of the business only makes it stronger and better. Thank you Sumo Snow, for all the epic boba fantastic flavors that you made me and the family. The dogs were treated well here with puppy cups topped with fresh strawberries, at no charge. It was at the suggestion of the cashier one day if one of the dogs wanted a cup of whip. I immediately said, "Yes, of course! It's a usual routine for them!" Great spot for dogs and twins. Come and let sumo put some joy into your summer and cool you down. As you walk through the door and cool ac blows and the cashier from behind the COVID glass will warm up your soul and fill your heart and mind with happiness in what ever flavor you desire!

Think we may have found our new Boba spot!! Being new residents in the desert, we have been trying to find some local spots to cure our cravings. Although disappointed, there wasn't any almond milk tea and you cannot order drinks without ice , there was still a huge variety of drinks and flavors to choose from. My hubby and daughter stopped by and were impressed with the friendly service where samples were offered, and drinks were definitely refreshing and guess what? BOBA was done right !! Cute clean spot that we will be sure to frequent!! Thanks guys!!

Had the best family day ever and wanted to wrap it up with trying something new. Walked in to Sumo Snow and to our surprise it was the cutest littlest trendiest place ever. It's like if Starbucks ran an after school program, but not. The place is as big as your belly button, but wile you wait for your order they have several retro games for you to play. The boys played the rock-em sock-em game, which they pulled off the shelf next to Stretch Armstrong. I ordered the Tropical Island and SBL (Sexy Bearded Lover) ordered the Carmel Cafe Cold Brew. SBL isn't a coffee drinker, but he thought mmmm this sounds amazing, and it was. It was served in these giant cups with the sticker lids you pop the straw through and it was definitely a manly serving. He said it was smooth and not too rich and that he would order it again; basically two thumbs up for the Carmel Cafe. The Tropical Island tastes like the best milk ever was frozen and then thinly shaved down to form this beautiful iced cream mound of perfection. It's lightly sweet and the most refreshing treat you could come across. Let's put it this way, once it touches the lips it's like you are whooshed away in to this hammock swaying sunset paradise situation. To make matters even more ridiculous on the "it's so good it's stupid meter" they top it off with this coconut like snow, (sigh) fresh pineapple and these silly little flavored gelatinous squares made only of love. The moment it all melts together in your mouth, is the moment Sumo Snow drops the mic, oh yea. I had never had a frozen treat that transported me to another time and place. It truly was its name, too bad there's not a frozen treat named "Hey I won the lottery and all my bills are paid" I would like to taste that goodness too if it were ever invented...Insert winky face here. If that's the feeling you're looking for when you get a hankering for something sweet, this is definitely your destination. Well played Sumo Snow, well played. read more

We literally traveled great distance to experience this place only to learn they closing at 8:00pm on a Sunday. Smh.. The location was clean, the restroom was clean, the tables and counter was clean as well. The tables are of high quality fake looking wood, and the seats were fine metal. They had plenty of toys to keep you occupied, my favourite toy was the Superman VS Batman punching thing. Superman won of course, but I believe it's rigged Batman has a better reach. We ordered a Hong Kong Style Milk Tea, and a UBE Shaved Snow dessert. Both were exceptionally good if you're into that stuff. Overall a fine experience, but too far to come back again. read more

First off, this is a very cozy and clean establishment with a chill ambiance. One of those places that helps you focus on social interaction rather than social media, which is awesome! They have a variety of games to play while you enjoy the tasty treats. From dominos, uno and monopoly to Jenna, scrabble and puzzles. Now let's talk food. This place has many flavors of shaved snow that you can customize with multiple toppings. They also have preset items on the menu, one of which I ordered and customized just a bit. I had the matcha madness with fruity pebbles instead of the mochi balls. Great flavor and satisfied my sweet tooth! My wife ordered the Hokkaido milk tea with raindrop boba. I want to thank Nolan for the great service and for letting us try some of the boba before adding it to our drink! Overall great place and will be back more often! read more

Hands down the best boba spot I've been to from here to Denver, with a huge selection of drink combos. Everything from slushies, teas, fraps, coffees and smoothies. The amount of topping options are insane and delicious. The drink size is larger than most and price is very reasonable. Will definitely go a few times a week!! I love about an hour away from this place but I couldn't help but to try it when they first opened. It's a pretty small place with some tight seating. They also sell some snacks like Pocky sticks here. I wanted to try the raindrop cake but unfortunately it was only a certain day of the week special. It was our first time visit today. The place gets crowded very easily due to the store space. We waited a quite a while which is fine. I personally thought it is bit pricy for what it is. Really cute place and creative dessert ideas We had the purple rain and it's just a purple lemonade tbh and the green tea snows flavor was just not there for us. Really watery and yes I now it's made with ice. My favorite place in Surprise! The staff is always super friendly and helpful when I have questions. There are board games to play while you enjoy your dessert, possibly my favorite part! I've been here several times and so far the purple rain is my favorite, it's like a tangy but mild lemonade. Also for the ice, the tuxedo is amazing! The mango ice cream is also super good. All of the other teas that we've tried have been really great as well. Particularly, the strawberry matcha tea was really good! The raindrop pearls are like little jelly nothings but are inexplicably one of my favorite flavors in the world now! They really are so good with any of the fruity teas. This is a great place for incredibly tasty desserts and a super chill atmosphere to just hang out and enjoy some board games. read more

This place is simply perfection! I found this place by accident and have been hooked ever since. The drinks are good for anytime if the year and so are the snacks! The customer service is always amazing and the service is quick! You can even order on a kiosk inside as well. I always get the paradise refresher or the ocean breeze sparking water. Then I'll get a Japanese Mille Crepe ( I believe it's seasonal and not serving at this time) to go along side it. The former corn dogs are yummy too! read more

I heard about this place from my new friends who live in Surprise. We drove from Avondale and I was not impressed. Honey boba was chewy but was very bland/not sweet. Pumpkin smoothie was bland too. It wasn't sweet enough. More like iced down. I like that it had a kick of spice either cinnamon or chai to it. My partner got the lychee smoothie and it was also iced down/not sweet enough. I think this might be our new favorite dessert spot! Surprise is lacking on small and diverse food places, so I was happy when we stumbled upon Sumo Snow after leaving Sam's Club. I finally decided on the Royal Passion Green Tea, which was delicious. I would definitely order it again. The menu is huge, so I will have to visit again when I am in the area to try more options. While we understand things happen, clearer communication and better signage would have saved us time and frustration. We were excited to try the boba, but the lack of professionalism and overall experience left a sour impression. The host who greeted us didn't make eye contact with me at all, a person with a disability. Instead of speaking to me directly, he asked the person I was with if I needed a child's menu. It would have been much more professional to provide standard menus for everyone or just ask me directly if I needed anything specific. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious: The bread and butter were warm and a great start. We had the bruschetta and a shrimp appetizer, both were hits. Our table ordered the cheeseburger and fries, the salmon, and two orders of the short ribs. Everyone loved their meal and had zero complaints about the food quality. The restaurant was packed and had a high-energy vibe, but the music was way too loud, it made it a bit hard to talk. The lighting was also a bit strange; it was very dark, and at several points, the lights would flicker or completely turn off and on again, which was a bit distracting. If you want to go on a Sunday evening like we did (6:00 PM), definitely plan ahead! We made our reservation a couple of days before, but by the time our day arrived, they were completely booked. I'd recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance to be safe. I would definitely come back for the food and the excellent waitstaff service, but I really hope management works with their hosting team on how to treat every guest with basic respect and direct communication.

On our second visit here we asked for smoothies and were told that it wasn't a problem even though the ones we wanted were desserts, they could change a couple things and all was good. The cashier told us it would be fine. When we got our drinks, one of the three we had ordered was a dessert so i asked them if they could remake it. You'd of thought the world was ending with the reaction from the staff. I told them to go ahead and use the dessert and turn it into a smoothie so as not to waste it, the manager suddenly appeared saying he could only use one topping, not sure what he meant by this as I'd had exactly what i asked for a couple nights previous. Ended up with me feeling like a criminal for asking them to change their error or to give me a refund. They refused to change it and, since i posted my review on Facebook been rude and demanded i take down my posts. All i asked for was an apology. read more

Never had Boba before so this review might seem a little awkward. Dont even remember what I ordered but it was frozen with green tea. First off very unique gigantic fat cups served with extra wide straws. One of the best shakes ive ever had. Not too big of a fan of the actual boba balls in the bottom because I almost choked to death, but flavor profiles were out of this world. It's a fun place to hang out with friends. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They got the best drinks. I only tried Matcha milk ice, but I see they have so many different drinks and desserts. I can't wait to come back and try everything in the menu. Now we became their fans. read more

Best place for boba and shaved snow. I have tried so many boba places in Arizona, this is the best one so far. It's very cozy, inviting atmosphere. The menu is awesome, very easy to understand. All milk teas are great, great selections of shaved snow. read more

We used to go to Sumo snow since they opened, but since then their Mangoneada has been changing in size and flavor, now is like they are using artificial flavoring. Bit other that that is a good place to go. read more
