I've come back to this place multiple times, but the overall experience has been consistently disappointing. Most of the drinks are not very good, especially for how overpriced everything is. I have recommended this place to others, and they have said the same thing. Many of them chose not to return. The biggest issue is the service. It is consistently unprofessional. There have been times where I was the only person waiting, and it still took a long time just to order because the worker stayed in the back and only came out when he felt like it. On multiple visits, the worker has also sighed heavily, taken a deep breath, and rolled his eyes while I was ordering, even when the order was simple. Other people I know have experienced the same thing. It creates an uncomfortable environment and makes customers feel like an inconvenience just for ordering. The wait times are excessive. It can take up to 30 minutes just to place an order and close to an hour to receive a drink. Having only one person running the shop is clearly not working. At this point, the pricing, service, and wait times do not match the experience being provided. After multiple visits, nothing has improved, and there is no reason to continue coming back. read more

If you enjoyed the Chimoy trend you may enjoy this! It was not for me, the balance between spicy, savory, and sweet was off. The restaurant was average! Great to pickup a quick treat but the design is basic. Plenty of seating, but not somewhere I'd stay for long. I always see the same guy every time at night and he is so sweet! We were craving Boba and Bomboba was the only location that didn't close at a ridiculously early time. We ordered the tiger tea which was a mix of regular milk tea and Thai tea with cream. And also the matcha frappe. For how busy it was, we got our drinks relatively quickly. I gotta say, both drinks were delicious! We sat on the comfortable well worn in couch. Unsure if they'd even like what they ordered, the smaller option was best. I declined the upsize and asked for the regular option posted. He told me he isnt allowed to charge that price and his boss, Alex, the owner, makes him charge the higher rate. We went back and forth before I informed him this is actually illegal to not honor a posted price & try to charge me more. He called his boss. Camera still rolling! I spoke with Alex who told me I was attempting to order a specialty item. I informed Alex he is incorrect and we could send him a photo of his own menu. Alex was very upset with me correcting him and told the cashier to "just give me the discount". I told them both I was not seeking a discount, just the posted price to be honored. Then, the cashier presents my total and it's $20. If I am getting 2 drinks and they are $6.50 each, how do we end up at $20? I question this and the cashier just tells me it's fees. Absolutely Not. We did not complete the purchase and instead left. Unbelievable that they'd be so bold. If you choose to give this scam of a shop your business, I suggest checking your charges. I've been coming here now and again for about 3 years, they've improved a ton with speed of service, and the staff are pleasant. However the reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because it still takes a while to get drinks, they have some issues with furniture (cracked couch, ceiling leak, unclean doors and windows, and alot of holes in some of the walls). They seem short staffed, as only 1-2 people are working when I come in, and they usually take a while to make anything and serve guests because of it. My main issue though, is that they rarely have food, which is listed on their menu. I've come in numerous times, and with the over 30 times I've come in just the past year and a half, they've only had food TWICE. I ask every time I come in, and they always say either their fryer is broken, or they simply aren't making food. Sometimes they even just tell me they don't have any food, but will serve someone else food?! It's a little ridiculous because half the time you can tell they're lying straight to your face because they simply do not want to make you food. I've seen them (quite a few times) tell me they will check if they have something, and will walk up to their coworkers and joke around right infront of the door, laughing and cracking jokes, for about 5 minutes, then come back and say they don't have something. Then I'll ask for 2-3 other things and they'll just say they don't have it. Anyways, their drinks and desserts are still delicious, just upsetting because the 3 times ive been able to try their wings and orange chicken in the past 3 years, they were delicious.
