This place has plenty to choose from. We did the Gold all you can eat for $30. Plenty of basic sushi offerings. All were decent and tasty. Fish was cold and fresh. The had rolls were good and I liked the presentation, like a taco. They have a variety of choices at the food bar as well, hot and cold, salads and dessert. Your wasabi and ginger will be found there as well. I believe this is an old Shari's restaurant they have retrofit, seems to work though. The ambiance is loud and very busy. Two delivery robots as well so keep a lookout. Overall the service was very friendly, the staff is efficient, seem to be happy and quick to answer questions. I wouldn't classify this as amazing, but it was really good and for a good deal for what you get. If you don't want sushi there are many other items to choose from, soups bowls, noodles, steak and more. Go and check it out, it is definitely worth it.

We hit sumo sushi after hiking oyster dome, and what a treat! Delicious food, and extremely high quality sushi. I find that some places skimp on the quality when it's a AYCE, but not sumo! Ambience was chill, mostly families but was still lowkey. Service was super fast. You just order off an app and I believe they gave us a 15 item limit every 15 minutes. Even the hot bar was super good. Would def visit again and check out other locations as well.

The food was delicious! The service was amazing! Especially being served my robots, the staff was especially friendly. The ambiance was wonderful the decoration was really cool!

Very open and bright space unless you're being chased by a robot! Everyone we saw was very nice and helpful except that maybe not enough attention was paid. We went as a group of 4 and were sat immediately. A server came up to take our drink orders: Dr Pepper, Sprite, Pepsi and water. We never got the Dr Pepper but did get two sprites before the server disappeared. The food was good. The buffet had some great choices and the menu was plentiful! We only ordered twice but both times our table was full! Our two least favorite items were the short ribs and grilled beef because both were a bit overcooked and chewy but the sauces were very good. Overall it was expensive and fairly good. We will definitely try it again.

Happy that they opened a sumo on this side of Washington. They do have the robot servers like the Kent location. Service is good when it's not too busy at the moment (Just because they just opened up not too long ago) Sashimi, sushi rolls and other food were good. The only downfall is if you order the hot foods on the digital menu like the noodle soup bowls etc. they bring it out late and the food ends up being cold when you receive it.

Too much avocado in my opinion.

The staff at Sumo were kind, but insanely busy, so they didn't really have time to answer questions or do much other than drop off plates. The food was good with the exception of the couple beef dishes I ordered. They used VERY fatty\gristly beef. They *would* have tasted good (the seasonings were fine) but the beef itself was gross. Also, they DRASTICALLY misrepresent the amount of rice they give you in the various bowl dishes. The menu pictures show a little bit of rice with a good sized helping of chicken, pork etc. They deliver nearly a full bowl of rice with a little meat on top. At $13 a pound for uneaten food that's pretty lame. All in all I feel like I ate enough to get a decent value, but I'd rather just go to a traditional sushi restaurant and order off a menu. At Sumo there's almost a pressure to make sure you order enough to get your money's worth, but you do NOT want to leave food on your plate. The price of sushi for my wife and me is roughly $65 at another local sushi spot. At Sumo their gold dinner menu on Saturday was $32 and change for each person. It's roughly the same price and if we order too much at our usual spot we can just take it home and eat it later...we're not charged $13 a pound for it.

Impressed. The best sashimi I have ever had. I don't mind the expensive price when the quality matches. Will be back!

The…read moreSunday All Day buffet is priced at $23.99 and we thought it was well worth it because of the variety. The service is pretty standard and the staff were able to clear our plates relatively quickly. This is a Chinese or Asian style buffet, and we loved the Asian style fusion foods. There were rows and rows of food choices. Some of the trays were of hot food like ribs or fish, fried foods, various seafoods, a salad bar, sushi and sashimi bar, desserts or fruits, and even a DIY grilling station where you can choose your own meats or proteins, veggies, or noodles, and they'll freshly stir fry it on a hot stone flat grill top! The various seafoods included shrimp, clams, baked oysters, crawfish, and deep fried crab. My favourite was probably the sushi bar with many different rolls, nigiri sushi, sashimi, and sashimi salad. They also have an unlimited soft serve machine. All in all, a great lunch with amazing variety and portions!

They didn't have much to choose from either. No beef dishes as I can recall except the roast. Other than that it was mainly chicken dishes. They had some seafood dishes, but weren't fresh of course. They had seafood boil that had a few lobster halves, snails and crab legs, but it always ran out as soon as they filled it. People would just dig for it and leave the rest like the potatoes and corn. Luckily I was able to grab a few crabs and half of a lobster after the 4th fill. I did have a few baked oyster that was good. The place was semi decent when it came to cleanliness. The people that worked there were nice. They did have a Mongolian grill. Other than that, I will cut this review short because there wasn't anything phenomenal about this restaurant.
