Gotta say....I've bwen a member at Sun Club for at least 8 years. I have seen it go through remodling and new staff. The owner John really knows how to pick the cream of the crop....the attendants are always SOOOOO super friendly, I'm always greeted with a smile and an escort back to what ever room I'm being placed in for that visit. The radio is set low as a sweet reminder to enjoy the music while I tan. The beds are always ALWAYS clean....the bulbs are changed regularly and they even have a red light room to help improve the overall texture of my skin! They have a plethora of tanning/bronzing lotions to choose from. Love being a member there. Sammy is one of my favorite attendants at the La Mirada location....I tell everyone to ask for her if they are interested in a membership or have any questions! read more

Old style bed. At first they didn't write my membership number on the sign sheet. I had to call to find out to cancel the membership. Small size bed. Very disappointing. But the girl at the front was nice. I should check the bed before I sign up. Of course it is very cheap I better not expect anything. read more

I just re joined sun club today and a lovely lady named Sammy helped me. She answered my questions directly and even took interest in my life. She was a breath of fresh air compared to the girls who worked there a couple years back. The beds have always been clean and ready and there's never a wait. I've been going to Sun Club off & on for 15 years now. In all that time the owner has never raised prices until last month. He only raised it by $2.20 a month. You will not find a better price for a monthly membership. The beds are decent...definitely worth the price. The salon itself is nice, although the bathroom looks like it always needs cleaning. They need better radios in the rooms so it doesn't take 2 minutes to change a station. Small stereos with remotes would be ideal. The girls that work there are super sweet. I do wish the weekend hours were longer. The positives out weigh the negatives. I will continue to be a loyal customer :) read more

Imperial Sunclub tanning has the sweetest girls working there! They always walk you to your room and make sure you have glasses and towel. They are really good at cleaning their beds and make sure the bulbs get changed out frequently! I love coming here! It's cheap and I get a free spray tan out of it too! They sell great tanning lotions and for a good discounted price! Just try it out once and you will love it! read more

The Sun Club is a great place to live close to. I can go in anytime and do "Red Light Therapy" or Spray Tan. I don't use the tanning booths, although they seem to be really popular with the regulars. The spa is super clean, the girls that work there are really nice and answer all your questions, they made me feel at ease. After two spray tans, I was hooked. I looked healthier, I looked ten pounds thinner, and my clothes looked better on me! People would say, "You look great today", but they just couldn't figure it out. It's well worth the membership. I love this place! I been a member for almost 7 yrs now! I have never had any problems with billing, the girls are so friendly at all locations, they always have great promotions, lotions are very well priced with a large selection. The girls are very knowledgeable about the lotions which I love. And they even do awesome spray tans which I love before river season. All in all this company is awesome I've kept my membership even though I now live in lake arrowhead that's how great they are! read more

I've been to all the salons, and this one is just as great as the other two. The staff is always so welcoming and the girls are so sweet. The rooms are clean, and there always seems to be a bed ready for me. $20 a month...you can't beat it. Can't wait to tell more of my friends about this place! read more

I'm very picky when it comes to tanning clubs but I have to say that both of the locations Whittier and La Mirada have always exceeded that. The girls are amazing also in both locations and you feel like family and your welcome every time you step in that front door. read more

I absolutely love Sun Club - it's definitely one of the cleaner and nicer salons I've seen in the area. I've been a member there for about a year now. The girls who work there are always extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms and the beds are always clean and organized, and they have a great selection of tanning products... not to mention good music playing on the radios inside the rooms at all times. The tanning beds are pretty spacey compared to other salons and leave room for you to move around and tan the hard-to-reach spots, which I like; they also allow you to take chairs into the room and just tan one body part if you need to (I had to do this once when one leg was tanner than the other for some reason :/). My favorite part about this Sun Club is that there is literally ZERO wait - I love this because it allows me to get a quick tan in before going to the beach, on a date, etc. without having to wait for a bed to open up. The only complaints I have, and the reason this is getting four stars instead of five, is that they don't tell you upon signing up that they charge double the following month if your account has insufficient funds, on top of that month's charge - $60 total. This was a problem for me a couple of times, due to the date which it was being charged - last day of the month (I'm paid on the 1st of each month, so it was a bit of a problem) - and once because I switched the account my direct deposit went into, and the system didn't catch on in time, so I had about three months of late fees built up. HOWEVER... they were more than willing to accommodate. They changed my charge date to the middle of the month, and took off the late fees I had during the account change so that all I had to pay was the monthly $19.99 for those three months. It's no longer a problem for me at all, but even so, they should inform their customers of this policy upon signing up. The one other complaint I have is about their spray tan booth. The first time I went to get a spray tan, ever, the girl DID NOT explain it well. She basically said, "Put this stuff on your nails and palms, go stand in the booth, then towel off once you're done." Well the stuff they gave me did not work well for my nails and palms, and I didn't realize "towel off" meant to pat dry... so I gently rubbed the way you do when you get out of the shower instead. Needless to say, my tan came out really streaky in places - something that could have been prevented with better communication. I mean, it was my first time using a booth... it's not like I knew what I was doing lol. Overall, however, I highly recommend Sun Club to everyone I encounter who's looking for a good salon. It's a friendly, laid-back atmosphere with good music and good products, and the beds are always clean and functional... not to mention the great monthly rates they offer for memberships... what more do you need from a tanning salon? read more
