Terrible experience with this location for auto glass replacement. They were referred by State Farm Agent. Dropped off my vehicle to have windshield replaced. My son picked up vehicle as we were out of town. On his drive home the window began to shake. He made it home and parked in my garage. When we got back in town I called my insurance agent at State Farm. He said he would call Sun Devil. Sun Devil came to my home to mobile replace my windshield. They inspected it and told me that their shop neglected to screw down side mounts. Repairman said their was also a chip in the window. He called his boss who said they will have to charge me for window! I called my agent and he told me I'd have to enter a new claim to pay for window because of chip! I argued with him but to no avail. This place got paid for 2 windshield replacements! Why didn't they just charge them for a chip repair on second windshield then had them replace it since it was their fault?! Because it was their fault and yet my Agent allowed this I will be looking for a new Agent. I am furious because of this I now Ihave an extra claim against my record!! **Update Below** The response from Sun Devil Auto is an outright fabrication, another Red Face moment for them!! First let me say that I actually have a video of my entire interaction with technician when he was at my home. I'm not posting it here until authorized. Details...I was in Alaska when this occurred. I asked my son to do me a favor and have my car serviced and windshield replaced before we returned. Ford serviced my vehicle first then my son scheduled for windshield repair. My son is in S/Scottsdale and my home is near Queen Creek. We chose that Sun Devil shop location because proximity to my son was better. So the "gap" between repair is because I was still in Alaska. I was very upset this happened to my son. Lucky for us my son is such a good driver. It could have been much worse for him and passenger! My son called me right away and I asked him to leave the car in my garage and I would deal with it. We called Sun Devil auto immediately and they said to bring it back in which we told them it was not drivable. So they said they could send tech to our home. We said it would be a while because of scheduling and us being in AK. We called a few times in between when we thought my son could be at our home but it never worked out. My son and I repeatedly told them we'd be out of town and would be for a month. So the car sat in our garage. My sons schedule did not allow him to sit and wait for them at my home and car was not drivable so there it sat in my garage knowing they had agreed I would just call when ready for repair. When we got back we called our insurance company to see if we could have someone else fix it because I didn't trust Sun Devil Auto Bethany Home. We were told they had to fix it since they did the replacement and it would be covered under warranty. I called for mobile Tech to come to my home. When Tech got here I recorded conversation so I could have a record in addition to photos. I had Tech explain what caused the windshield to come apart and he explained which is all on the video. (I can post his why if I need to as it's unbelievable!) We didn't notice the chip until Tech was here. He never offered to repair the chip and why would he when the entire windshield plus moldings were damaged due to the shops incompetence! Also why would he have the moldings and windshield if they didn't already know they were replacing the whole thing. Pretty obvious why. So Tech spoke to his shop, (I did too) apologized and told us the Manager said to enter a new claim. I said I was calling my Agent back who he said had called them. Then speaking with Agent he said since 2nd windshield had a chip a new claim had to be entered. I voiced my disagreement and dissatisfaction with my Agent. Since I had no choice I had it replaced and new claim was entered. My question was if it was only a chip then why didn't they just charge for a chip repair instead of the whole replacement again? It was their fault for doing a terrible job putting in the 1st windshield which caused extensive damage because they forgot screws thus new windshield. The Tech said he had to do what his Boss said. I agreed he did and said I would look into it later. I recently called State Farm claims. They agreed with me. It was fault of Sun Devil Auto and they will not fault me with 2nd claim and subrogate for cost. So I wonder why D.H. of Sun Devil Auto on Bethany Home would fabricate an incorrect story in response to my rating? He needs to own his mistakes and now owes me yet another apology. Maybe he thinks I'm suing, which I had no plan to do that or is he in fear of being dropped by State Farm? I stand by my statement and my 1 star rating for this location! Awaiting Apology...

My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

After the installation, I took my car for a ride and there were many warning lights on the dashboard. Not sure if they damaged all the sensors on the car but all the sensors are now giving me warning lights and these warning lights will not go away. If you have newer cars, DO NOT let these guys fix your cars. One of the mechanics was hitting the back rotor with a huge hammer very hard to get it off and must have damaged all the sensors, I guess. Another possibility is that the other mechanic was using an electric saw to cut off the dust covers and might have cut a cable to cause all the warning lights to show up on the dashboard. I sent them an email about all the warning lights but no response from them. They were able to install the 4 rotors and 4 calipers just fine but the brakes don't feel very tight and feel loose when hitting the brakes. Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**
