I went and gotten a car oil change and my car was fine. Everything was fine. The car was running great after I had an engine light on but it wasn't the problem with the car. It was a problem with the gas cap and the gas cap issues going out for a while now is not a big issue and it doesn't a engine to fail or anything and the engine light comes on just because of the gas cap issue, nothing major with the engine even previous Jiffylupe I went to look at the oil change, never had problem with that the other location was on a different Jeff everything was fine I got the oil change and I never had a no problem as soon as I go to this location at 12st and northern and get a oil change the biggest mistake I ever made. I'll get there to get oil changed after the oil change. I drove off the car.started to have a Problems making Clinking sound making a bunch of noises after that. Is it a coincidence? this managers are delusional the workers there are just a bunch of kids. Don't know anything wanna be mechanics don't know anything about oil change. I suggest nobody go there horrible place to go to. Don't ever step your car in there. These people do not know what they're doing so if they mess up your car that was Do Not go there or do business or anything with them they were use excuses and they will use excuses on you for anything. the will lie. They were trying to flip their problems around and make the problem yours. They will team up and just lie and use excuses on you. I suggest you guys do not go there I repeat do not go there after all this I took my car somewhere else and I found out what happened to the car. This idiot fucking went into my ancient it does something loosen up the bolts. Did a few things in my car start making Clinton sound after I took the car to the main dealership to a regular brand dealership, the end of fixing it they fix the issue with no problem. The dealership told me that Jiffy lube , whatever the oil change places loosen up the bolt on my engine and it was making noises after I come back to Jeff to tell them the problem and completely ignore everything they don't wanna take accountability. They lied the managers lied too. Yeah it was horrible. I always trust this auto repair spot. They never try to upsell me and they are efficient. I have gone three times for different services and typically do not have to wait to get work. Even just to check on something I noticed, they assured me I'm good and I was on my way. Service is quick too and have never had to follow up with my fixes. Went in for an AC recharge. First- it is currently 111° outside, and my AC was taking a long time to cool, but still functional. The employee stated that the AC may have a leak, and that it would need further repair if that was the case. I asked him if he would be able to top it off if it did have a leak, so I would not have to drive home in 111° heat with no AC. He said yes, he would top it off, but that any leaks would need to be repaired ASAP by a different shop. After asking one more time to make sure I would leave with a functional (at least temporarily) AC, and being assured that I was understanding correctly, I told him to go ahead. A few minutes later he told me that he had tested the vacuum, which involved removing the existing freon, and found a leak. I asked him to recharge it for now, with the understanding that it wouldn't last and I needed to bring it to another shop to have it fixed. At that point he told me that he could not recharge an AC that had a leak, and that the testing process had removed the freon that had still been in the system. I asked again if he could top it off like he said he would, and he just said that he could not do that. This was even more of an issue because the shop has no AC in the waiting area, and the heat was starting to make me feel pretty sick. I drove home with no AC in 111° heat, and called another Jiffy Lube to find out if it was a company policy to not add freon to a leaking AC. The other Jiffy Lube said that this would be no problem, they would recharge it as long as I understood that it would not be a permanent fix. Clearly, I was misled by the employee at this shop, and left with my car in worse shape than it was when I brought it in. My complaint is this- the dude told me that he could fill it temporarily, and NEVER told me that diagnosing a leak could make my system inoperable. I would have never allowed them to do the diagnostic. It's dishonest to do something like this to a customer as it is, but it is dangerous to do it when it is this hot outside. UPDATE- I brought my car to a repair shop that I know to have a good reputation, and they tried to find a leak. They could not. Said there was vacuum and that they don't know why the guy at Jiffy Lube thought it was leaking. They are using the freon with dye to help locate any future leaks if the AC starts to blow warm again, but said they don't anticipate that happening. He also said that they never should have removed all of the freon and not put any back in, even if they did detect a leak. read more

No one stepped out to my car, (I'm literally the only one) here, did not answer the phone after multiple calls, so I walk in and stand next to the asst mngr (Ike I think??)who does not acknowledge me for 5 minutes. Then, when he finally looks at me, I ask if they are open. He throws his hands up bewildered as if it isn't obvious that they are open. I explain to him that by not greeting your customers, even when they stand next to you, nor answer your phone that it sends a mixed message as to whether you actually are open or not. read more

He was so rude, so I said I would come back. He said what you're going to come back? Worst experience I've ever had at a jiffy lube or discount tire etc. by far. Wish I had taken the time to get the guy's name tag. But I've gotten oil changed from jiffy lube before. This time I just needed my tire filled. Took him forever to come up and ask what I needed even though I was the only customer in sight. Then when I asked him to fill my tire, he said "are you a jiffy lube customer?" which I had never been asked before when asking for air. I said "I have been yes," and he proceeded to look into my car (which is messy and full of stuff because I was moving things out of my storage unit) then only reluctantly filled the tire. I would never go back to this company and neither should anyone, i went there for a regular oil change in my car and paid over $100 for nothing a few days after getting the oil change my car started acting weird and it would turn off in the middle of the road and it would tell me that it had no engine oil, I thought that it was not accurate since they supposedly did a full check in my car, i had to pay to get my car towed to the dealership, when i got there they asked me how long has it been since your last oil change cause you have no oil at all, I decided to call JIFFY LUBE and ask for an explanation and to get my money back since i had to pay for another oil change in less than a week. They obviously didn't give me my money back but I definitely learned the lesson, apparently they hire very amateur people that fairly have an idea of what they are doing, for what they charge I would expect well trained and experienced people to take care of the cars. read more

Got an immediate appointment and service was fast and friendly. If you have time, I would definitely recommend going elsewhere though. Simple oil change was 2 to 3 times the cost of the dealership prices (thought dealerships were supposed to be more expensive...). All the other small places in the area were at least half the price of this place, they just didn't have time when I needed to get it done, so I had no choice. My advice, book an appointment with a different near by place and save at least $50 or more on an oil change service. read more

So after all this here's an update... a little late due to FMLA stuff. Fluids were Still leaking went back was told that they didn't do anything wrong and was bluntly told that they are not mechanics. Even the manager tried to come up with some half wit excuse. I decided after all this trouble I must be causing them that I'd go elsewhere. After all I am the customer and I was not satisfied at all. (issues, lost time, money and gas I lost.) Besides, they're focus is more on selling services and less on customer service. Anyways... I Took my car back to my usual spot Firestone and was told that all three of my radiator hose clamps were lose and that I had an oil leak. Mind you I had those services performed. (Had my coolant topped off/oil and filter changed. Don't know what they were doing moving stuff something so simple like a top off that I've done it before). Great something else to pay for but instead of going back over and over to a place that does not do mechanical work but "specializes" in coolant, oil, filters, hose changes etc... I just paid for it a place that knows what they're doing. I'm done with jiffy lube and will be reporting them. read more

Both times I've been here at opening time and they have not been open. The first time, the employee present was apologetic and said that he legally couldn't open without a secondary employee there and they were late. I waited about 30 minutes and someone finally arrived. Oil change was fine and staff was nice but I was surprised that they did not offer a 5 dollar off or something for the wait. Fast forward to today and I pull up at 910 when they are supposed to be open at 9 to see a line of cars and closed doors. Waited about 15 minutes and cars started driving off. Tried calling and it was a busy signal. The one woman who was first said the employee who answered the phone earlier gave the same "I can't open without a second person" speech that I had in the past. I would recommend to this shop manager to change the hours to reflect when a full staff is there. Excellent and quick service. Came in Saturday morning for an oil change and got right in. Chris the service rep was great and didn't try and upsell anything. Offered what was recommended oil wise and even let us know what wasn't ready to be replaced and didn't try to sell it since it was not needed. He did offer a discount if we got a new filter because we did need an engine filter replaced. read more

Pretty good oil change place. Came here Sep '13 for an oil change on a 08 Civic hybrid with full synthetic oil. The cost of the ordeal came out to be around $80.00 and took close to 40 mins to perform. It's seems a tad expensive relative to the $55 full synthetic oil change I had done at Sears ago a few months ago on my 08 Lancer Evolution with a 2.0l engine, with the time different being maybe 20 mins difference give or take. No doubt different blends of oil were used, but it seems a stretch that it would entail a $25 difference. Other than that, the overall service was a pleasant and non eventful interaction. The employees were upfront with the pricing, and the civic I drove rode fine for the next few hundred miles or so afterwards. The convenience of the operation is also quite reasonable. Although the affair took a tad longer, it wasn't off by far either. I would just be mindful to come here if you have more than an hour free time to spare. Not bad. read more

Not enough room in the waiting area for everyone. I cam here because I expected quick service but they did not deliver. Pros: + They changed my Oil. + Previously mentioned worker was friendly. Cons: -$140 for oil, tire rotation, air filter. -97 minutes from the time I pulled up till the time I left. -Restroom (air conditioned) smells better than the lobby (not air conditioned) -Roaches (both in the restroom and lobby) -$1.50 for a can of soda (only cold thing in the lobby) -Television in the lobby set at volume of 50, buttons broken so it cannot be turned off, turned down, or have the channel changed from Zoomba infomercials. -I was not allowed to drive my car into the shop - I had to let a sweaty greasemonkey do that. He was literally dripping wet. - Have already sent three pieces of spam to my e-mail box despite not saying they'd do so when asking for my e-mail. read more

I found myself in a worrisome situation and in a jiffy, all was back in order. I am out of town on a road trip and while driving to dinner last night a warning light came on. I checked my owners manual (can you believe it was actually in the car) and it said to check my oil level. After considering my options, I decided to give Jiffy Lube a call. Surely they can just add a quart so I don't have to find a Pep Boys? After reading the reviews on Yelp I was concerned that I would get the run around. I think Jiffy Lube is like any multi-location business. Some are good and some are not so good. It all depends on the store manager. I happened to luck out I think. The manager at this location is named Joe and he told me to just come in and they would help out. Initially he referred me to a closer location, but when I called them I got the standard - "We only will change your oil, we do not just do quarts". So I called Joe back and he said come on in. Well, exactly as I thought, I needed a few quarts to get me back on the road. Joe said he would just top it off for me for FREE since they will do that for customers (I never knew). I thanked him and handed him $5 bucks anyway as this really put my mind at ease. I am back in Road Warrior shape and somewhat relieved. Thanks Joe !! read more

After waiting about 45 minutes had enough time to go to Someburros (great food by the way) and get something to eat. He comes in and says looks the filters need replaced. Asked if the oil had been removed yet and he said yes, stuck there. Only one guy draining oil and another installing it, SLOWLY. I used to go to the 7th Ave and Indian School location great service. I came here on September 1, 2016 for an oil change. The guys were friendly and fast. I have a new car and I was taking it to the dealer for oil changes but that can be an all day affair. Fast forward to February 4, 2017. My car sits a lot and in 5 months I have only put 3600 miles on it. I was smelling oil and I called Rob and he said bring it in. I went right over and got right in, just before they had a rush. Rob personally looked at my car and discovered the oil filter gasket was faulty. Rob not only replaced the oil filter, he also topped off my oil and wiped down the engine compartment. I'm very happy with the service here and I will return. read more

Came here on a Sunday at 10:47 am. The greeter was friendly enough and he let me know it would be about a 45 minute wait. Seemed kind of excessive when there was only 2 cars in queue before me. I leave the shop and come back about an hour later. They hadn't even started! Whole experience took a whopping 2 hours! They seemed irritated that once they finally finished and were dragging tail moving around cars that I would come out and try expedite the process to pay so I could get out of there! The price was also not great. I could pay the same to go to the dealership down the street. Bottom line this place is run extremely inefficiently. The employees seem to not care about your time or providing prompt service and the price isn't super competitive either. Will not be coming back. read more
