I am so ridiculously frustrated with this establishment. I have been a handful of times and each time, it is the exact same terrible service. It takes eons to be recognized by an employee to come and even do something as simple as bring waters. I have been before and waited for over 20 minutes for glasses of water to be brought, let alone orders for drinks to be taken. This past experience was the icing on the cake. Our server was working her tail off to provide service to the half dozen tables inside and all of the tables outside while many other employees stood around doing nothing. At one point, she was visibly upset as she worked to cash out our table. She delivered some checks but not others. Fifteen minutes later, a member of our party went to find a different employee and ask if they could cash us out. Why did no one come and help this server close out her tables and provide somewhat quality service? Forty five minutes after we'd been asked if we wanted to close out tabs, I approached the bar asking for help. To which I was told the manager was working on it. The manager was less than helpful and incredibly rude. Cashing out should NEVER take that long. Especially when it involved only drinks for less than six orders. Needless to say, as good as Biebs and Ash is, my party and I will not be returning to dine in. It will be to go orders only. If Sun King regional management knew what was up, they'd send someone to do an audit and work to fix things. This location has an incredible opportunity to be a great asset to the community but continues to be sub par time and time again. read more

This is a pretty new place in the heart of downtown, where I had high hopes for a brew pub....but...it was an average Friday evening with maybe half the tables and seats at the bar taken, and you simply could not hear yourself think, let alone speak to someone at your own table, due to the noise! The bartenders were very busy...on their phones...and not really paying attention to people at the bar, which is where I usually sit to get great service and expertise on what's on tap. The beer...it was just average or ok, nothing special, despite the large selection on tap. The atmosphere really turned us off, and it's unlikely we would come back unless we were with a group of people and didn't really care about the quality of the product. Overall, 3 stars is probably giving them the benefit because I'd personally give it 2 stars if it wasn't a nice-looking place! read more

Ambience - 4/5 Service - 3/5 (waitstaff was friendly but you have to go up to the counter to order food) Food and drink - 2/5 Value - 3/5 If there wasn't outdoor seating and friendly service, I'm not sure it would be worth coming back. We tried their new food menu with their restaurant and it was quite the disappointment. The flatbread was more like a giant cracker with a light smear of sauce and sprinkled veggies. It lacked flavor and left us hungry. We got a flight of different beers, half were good, the other half were okay. I ordered one of their IPAs in a pint and it tasted like a lager, I couldn't finish it. Hopefully as the kitchen gets used to the menu, things will improve. read more

Nice new addition to Mishawaka. For starters, their inside space is large enough to accommodate groups who will visit in the winter months. But during good weather, spring through fall in northern Indiana, people can also enjoy their outdoor Biergarten. Great beer choices, the orange cream ale was delicious, and friendly service. Mishawaka is my childhood home and my parents still live there... Trust me, I don't know why ... I joke, I joke... It was nice to hear there is an establishment such as this that would put there faith in Mishawaka, and I'm so glad to see the whole River Walk area being developed so well. (I remember being in that spot as a young boy watching the Uniroyal building be imploded by tons of boom-booms.) Okay, on to the beer and environment. It's a pretty cool place with a nice outdoor space. Most of the employees are friendly. I only tried a couple of the beers, Sun King has a couple I can get down with. That's good. Wow, we love this spot. Right in the heart of the downtown riverwalk. The beers are so tasty and they offer seasonal specialties. Outdoor seating is really nice so you can enjoy the sights along the riverwalk. Kid and pet friendly outside too! Check their FB page- they often have live music during the warmer months and have an outdoor Biergarten. read more

I come here every so often and it's always been great. The setting, with the doors that open on the side of the building connecting to the patio, the food, always something new on the menu it seems, and the service. Always polite, always friendly. Great open setting with large windows and lots of light for a lively atmosphere. Some TV's showing sports but not to many, and a lot of staff always following up on you. You order your food via walk up and then they text you when it's ready. Food is basic burgers and bar food but done well, but the main attraction is the beer. A good mix of a dozen or so beers on tap in the main building with a handful in the Biergarten across the way where you can also order from the same food place and enjoy the park setting it the main location is too busy. Very cool atmosphere and good beer. Service was horrible. 7 employees standing around and took me 7 minutes to have one come up to me. The lady at the front even asked me if I had been helped yet. My server when she came was more concerned with socializing. I requested a beer and saw her stop the chat for 3 minutes before focusing on the beers. Disappointing. Not sure if I'll be back if this is the service and there's plenty of other places in the area for beer read more

Very clean and friendly walking in and greeted at the door ! We brought a table of 8 and were seated very fast and scanned a QR code for the menus options. Drinks were taken by the severe who was awesome and food is a kitchen you get in line for in the back. 1st drink was a Strawberry Roundup definitely a good recommendation. For food decided the chicken sand. and smash burger. The chicken sandwich was two chicken strips on a bun but wasn't bad still had flavor. The burger wasn't anything special but definitely worth trying out with their special sauce. Awesome to see this brewery in the Area. Definitely a great addition to the Mill development in Mishawaka. Having Biebs and Ash as a food option was right on the mark. I was excited to try out the street tacos. Huge fail! They were greasy and fell apart far too easy. I expected a little heat with the pico and asked to verify...I was told d they had just a little kick. I couldn't eat more than a couple bites as it was WAY too hot. I was pretty sad to only have a couple bites and throw the rest away. The only thing good about my meal was the beer. It's not often I leave without paying, but if you're not going to acknowledge me and cant be at least a decent host, I'll just be on my way before i get too far in. When you charge $20 for a burger, I would think the service is matching that level of quality. Yes I would like a follow up, too. Because if you got my grandma following me in agreement, there's an issue. Really disappointing, probably won't make the stops like I used to. Place appears to need some quality help.

While the chicken itself was tender, the bacon jam was much sweeter than I expected and ended up overpowering the sandwich. I was hoping for more of a savory flavor. The bottom bun also soaked up quite a bit of oil, making it pretty soggy and messy to eat. The sweet potato fries weren't quite my style either because they were heavily coated in sugar and tasted more sweet than savory. Unfortunately, neither is something I'd order again, even though both sounded great on the menu. We visited during a busy Saturday dinner rush, so our food took a while to arrive, but our server was friendly, attentive, and acknowledged the delay, which I always appreciate and understand! We sat outside on the patio, which was a fun place to spend the evening. The only thing I noticed was that there wasn't any music playing outdoors like there was inside, and I think that would have added a little more energy to the space. Overall, I don't want to knock this place too much because I genuinely think it's a great spot for Michigan City. Between the local beer selection, large menu, welcoming atmosphere, and outdoor seating, it's definitely worth a visit! I'd happily come back and try some different menu items next time!

The bar has windows to show off the brewery behind the scenes. Our server was amazing. So nice & friendly. He even brought us a sample beer to taste while we were deciding. I ordered the stellar blue, my husband had the bleacher bum hazy IPA. They both were great! We got the huge hot pub pretzel with cheese dip. $16. It was good, but a little doughy. We still polished it off. Was great with the beers. I ordered fish & chips. It came with coleslaw. I was excited to try it because the menu said it had dried cherries. Unfortunately it was small & didn't have any cherries. It came with 3 big pieces of fish breaded perfectly. Amazing French fries. Lots of them. Definitely glad I was sharing. The menu was big & I can't wait to try more food & beer.
