We spoke and set up a date and time to come look and give me a price quote ( which they won the bid). We set up a time and date to have the work done and they came out as scheduled on time, and got to work right away- ripped up what was left of my yard with weeds, the spread new soil and laid out new sod in a very reasonable time which I was very pleased with. They offered tips and a follow up as to how to maintain my new lawn and with all the added rain these last few weeks my lawn looks great again. That was 4 weeks ago and look at how great my lawn looks ! ( pictures are from the beginning to the end and of the 1st mowing yesterday( 7/22/24) I definately recommend them. We have been wanting this artificial grass for a long time since our dogs kept destroying our sod…read more I had called a few other places and it took a while for those people to get back to me and when they did give me a quote, it was over the phone and didn't even get the real measurements of my yard. When I contacted Chicago Dream Grass, Joe responded almost immediately and we set up a time for him to come measure our yard and give a quote. He was punctual, polite and one of the most honest people I've ever met. He brought a bunch of samples (like carpet) for us to choose from. After we decided on getting the grass, he explained the whole procedure to us and even told us he'd be making minor improvements (fixing our pavers and retaining wall). Joe's price was significantly less than anything else I was quoted. Joe was able to do the install very quickly and this is honestly the best purchase we have made for our house. The grass is BEAUTIFUL and the dogs love it. We have 2 puggles that love to go and run around on it and lay on it. We couldn't be more pleased with the results; our front yard looks fantastic at all times and we love the fact that we don't have to mow, pick weeds or really do any yard work. After the brutal winter, my husband went out there with a leaf blower and literally "vacuumed" our grass and we were ready for spring! We have a dog and so far the doggy waste pick up is much easier. For whatever reason the waste doesn't stick and it doesn't leave a mess, like real grass. We can't wait to let our boys run around on our rooftop this summer to kick a soccer ball or practice putting and even swimming in a pool. It's like we have a giant yard in the suburbs right in the middle of the city. We couldn't be happier with the product. And just like the previous posters, Joe is top notch. I felt it was necessary to warn potential buyers that they didn't yet have the experience to know that this mistake could happen (which I'm sure they do now), and that they initially pushed the blame on us. When I pushed back, they agreed to fix it, but when things got too tough, they gave up and stopped responding. Even though we like the owner and wish everyone well, we were very unhappy with the result.
