We moved from Mystic in 2003. Have been back to camp at your facility several times over the years. Have NEVER seen cockroaches in the pool, and have always had a pleasant experience. There must have been a lot of improvements made since many of these review were posted. We spent a wonderful 3 weeks here. The CG was clean and well kept, a nice dog park with agility tests, laundry was clean with enough W/D so I never needed to wait. The pool was warm and great for kids and sunbathers, showers clean and convenient to pool. I was concerned about no sewer but with pumping every 4th day I was able to use the W/D water in my motor home for small loads. The sites are spacious with grass and room for evening fires. There are lots of activity areas like bocce, mini putt... can't remember them all but I am sure they are listed. The staff were always very friendly, and always available. Manager was always around checking on guests. There are many seasonal guests who are very nice and helpful and they pride themselves in their site upkeep. The location is perfect for exploring the area. If we lived closer we would be back every year. It is a campground, not like the Sun Resorts in the West with paved sites and spiffy big rec centers. We really enjoyed our stay! read more

This campground is one of the cleanest and neatest campgrounds I ever stayed. Beautiful pool, playground, mini golf, dog park, bathrooms, showers, laundry and much more! Parking areas are large with stone and grass, fire ring and picnic table. 2 reasons they do not get 5 stars. 1. No sewer connection, the 3rd full day you are there they pump you out free of charge, every 3 days is free, but more then that it's $10 2. Check in time is 2:00pm. We arrived at 12:45. The man at the desk informed I arrived really early and he would have to charge me $10. Okay, I don't mind. ITS NOT WHAT YOU SAY ITS HOW YOU SAY IT! He was not the least bit friendly or nice. This is a nice location, great playground area for the kids, nice pool, laundry facilities as well as bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms were cleaned every morning even though someone posted otherwise. I found them to be cleaned and sanitized (you can smell the products they had used which to me was great) It can be really wet in areas if it rains a lot so some of the sites can become a puddle ankle deep! I think If they were to gravel the areas heavier and more compact they may have less of a problem. They do not have sewer hook up a but will come on your 4th day with a their truck to dump your trailer/RV or there are two sites where you can do that as well. Didn't understand why they didn't have one for each site until my husband explained it may have to do with the fact that they sit so close to a running creek which did spill over when we were there because of so much rain! Overall it wasn't a bad stay. Also must add that I appreciated that it wasn't packed like a sardine and there wasn't loud parties till all hours of the night! The staff was friendly too. We've stayed at numerous campgrounds throughout the country, unfortunately one of my least favorite. Pros: Sites are nice and large. Proximity to the Shoreline. Showers large and convenient, but need minor repairs and a good cleaning. Cons: No sewer hook up, $ extra charge to be pumped out. Narrow area when trying to empty septic and only one dump station was available which causes bottle necking when exiting for 11. Office closes at 7pm when advertised it was open til 9. Extra charge to check in early. No day parking option. No wood delivery after 4pm. Majority of the staff was friendly, however one was not. Upon check in she was curt and unfriendly when asking about various beaches. Since we are from MA we requested a late check or to pay extra to be able to leave the camper at the campground to explore the shoreline for the day she was rude and did not seem like she wanted to accommodate the request even though we were completely ok with paying a little extra. The campground was at 1/2 capacity and you would think they would want the extra money provided the circumstances. COVID Restrictions in place. You are required I sign up for pool time and the pool closes at 7. Which on a hot summer night is not fun if you have younger kids. You will need to supply your own golf clubs for mini golf. Masks are Required when sitting on the pool deck. Unfortunately I don't think we will return in the future, as everyone has different camping experiences and this didn't check all our wants and needs. read more

No wifi at our rv spot had to go to the pool wich was a horrendous walk to get there cockaroaches in the pool. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Nice and clean campground with large sites. Unfortunately site 114 as advertised on the map does not have a great shade tree. It's half dead. See photo. Pool was nice, clean and warm. Very close to town. I would have given it a 4* however I paid an extra $10 per day to get pumped out since they don't have sewer hook-up. Came back from being out for the day and they never showed up to pump us out. So we had to hike to the bathrooms and showers until the next day as it was 5pm and the person doing the pumping had left for the day. That was really disappointing. So after not pumping for a day they finally came today. They only drained 1\4 of the Black tank but 100% of the gray tanks. Ugg. (Yes, I'm sure it's not just the sensor. It's 3/4 full. ) read more

June 15-24 2019 stayed 9 days I honestly feel after traveling over 1500 miles the last six months and staying in many RV parks I can write an honest review of what to expect while camping. While in a campground in New Jersey that I won't comment on at this time my two little dogs and myself were victims of a vicious dog attack. After the attack we no longer felt safe at that campground so we called our next scheduled stop on our trip which was Seaport RV Resort in Mystic Ct. I ask them if they could accommodate us much earlier than expected after our very traumatic experience. They welcomed us with open arms. Once we arrived I was greeted by the friendliest staff. The park is so beautiful and well maintained. The grass was always neatly manicured and the lots were very spacious. All our neighbors were extremely respectful and the pets were walked by responsible adults. The laundry and restrooms were meticulously kept clean. The pool area was very nice and well kept. While there my injuries from the dog attack in New Jersey began to worsen to the point of hospitalization. I was so worried about my wife and our little fur babies being left alone in the park. However the worry was unfounded, when the park staff found out our predicament they were so kind to my wife. The staff offered to extend our stay and if needed offered to move my RV to another site if I hadn't recovered when the next campers arrived for my spot. They made sure my tanks were pumped out and watched over my wife. They genuinely cared about my health and the wellbeing of my wife and little fur babies. I wish this site would allow me to give a hundred stars for going way above and beyond what other RV parks would never do. Thank you to all the staff for being to kind to us. I know in my heart you will be repaid ten fold for treating people in need with such kindness. read more

We spent this past weekend here and enjoyed the amenities that this place had to offer. They had a small mini golf course and a laser tag course for additional fees (somewhere around $2 per game I think). There were also plenty of free activities - a moon bounce, a very nice playground, movie night, a bocce court, basketball, volleyball, a heated pool, and horse shoes. The office staff was friendly, although we did also experience staff members yelling at people to slow down to 5mph, when they honestly weren't going any faster than the posted limit. The sites were very large which was nice, however, it was basically like camping out in a big field. There was very little shade and the trees were few and far between. I went with a group of friends and we 6 or 8 camp sites in all. The large sites made it easy to gather around one fire or share a potluck dinner. This place seems to cater more towards RV campers and as a tent camper I have to admit, I felt a bit out of place. I walked the entire grounds and I could literally count the number of tents on one hand. That in itself would have been ok, but one of our "neighbors" from the next site (a huge RV bus) actually came over to my site while I was setting the tent up to ask if I was there with a group and "how many more of you are there"? When I asked what he meant, he actually said "so, I guess this means I'm going to be surrounded by your tee-pees all weekend"? Our group were all supposed to have water and electric hook ups on our sites, however my friend had to come use my water because one of the seasonal people (the charming gentleman mentioned above) was using both water hook ups between their sites. Due to the number of RVs, I didn't get as much of the "camping community" feel that I found at other campgrounds. Many sites had no people outside at all, no camp fires, no sitting around playing games or talking. Not that there was no one around, but certainly fewer people than I'm used to seeing outside at a campground. The only other complaint that I had was that many of the campers didn't keep an eye on their children. I had run ins with several large groups of young boys (ages 6 - 12 or so) who were running wild with no supervision. At one point these boys were rough housing so hard in the bounce house that I had to remove my small 4 year old for fear that she would get injured. Multiple attempts to talk to the boys went completely ignored. Later that same day this group of boys walked onto the bocce court where a group of us (all adults) were in the middle of a game and actually started picking up our balls, refusing to give them back, and then refusing to get out of the way while we were throwing the balls. As an adult, I was appalled at the behavior and lack of respect of many of the children as well as the obvious lack of supervision This has not been much of an issue at other camp sites I've used in the past and I was left wondering if all of those RVs complete with cable tv and AC mean that parents aren't outside paying attention to what their children are doing nearly enough. I would have to say that if you're in an RV this is probably a nice place to spend a weekend, but as a tent camper I doubt that I'll return. read more

I'm writing this because I was so disgusted by our campsite...Upon arrival the space we reserved was occupied, so we were moved 2 spaces down, not a big deal...the new campsite was absolutely disgusting!! Rib bones and food scraps scattered about, water bottle caps everywhere, trash and cigarette butts everywhere. To top it all off the flies made me want puke. The only good thing this place has going for it is it's proximity to great attractions. The sites are decent sized but there are no trees to give you privacy. The pool looks like it needs some maintenance. The bathrooms, while clean, also could use some repair work (broken windows and broken floor tiles). The playground does not have equipment suitable for younger children. The camp office closes very early so if you want ice cream after your dinner you are out of luck. The laundry facilities are "closed until further notice" and since I had planned on doing laundry here the family will be wearing smelly clothes tomorrow. Other guests at the campground were blasting loud and vulgar music until 10PM... granted they turned it off when quiet hours started, however, nobody should be blaring music with vulgar language in a campground, and with no staff on site there was nobody to complain to. read more

Very nice campground. There is not many trees where the sites are but there is plenty of walking trails around the pond and brook. Also there is a lot of activities to get involved in such as laser tag, mini golf, bocce, playground, pool, or basketball. The staff was phenomenal in their kindness and helpfulness. It has a lot of RVs and large campers, so the tent camping experience I wouldn't really recommend but we have a small pop up and fit in fine. The sites are pretty big and spacious. Nice park but the water pressure was terrible. People in the office got our site mixed up - we needed 50, our co-campers needed 30. We had to switch sites. Only one dump station and the line to leave by 11 am was very long. They should open the other one (that was locked). Alleviate the long delay. Also blocked the exit for people getting out who didn't need to empty their tanks. Pool is nice but a little small. Had to pay the $20 early fee - was just a little early and no one was on our site.
