There is a septic service that comes every 2 weeks. We genuinely loved our stay with our beloved dog. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. There is a beautiful beach with gorgeous views of the lake. Our host also owns the AirBnb on the same lot which looks amazing!

Hoping to get in on a corn hole tournament next time From calling the office to check availability to check out the service was top notch and warm very friendly! So if you are looking for a place to camp that checks off all the boxes Acorn Acres is the place to go dog friendly kid friendly( did I mention an inflatable bouncy water slide for the littles!) I'm just extremely confused on why we still have these stigmas in 2025 and think it needs to be changed. Dogs attitudes are a product of the owners training. Just because a specific dog breed needs more stimulation, enrichment and training to behave correctly does not mean all dogs that belong to that breed are aggressive. Unless you have a golden retriever, i'd steer clear of this place.

I came by during their Halloween weekend and it was spectacular. We played bingo Friday night and had Halloween party on Saturday. Staff were all absolutely wonderful and always cheerful and ready to help. Their bathrooms were surprisingly clean and warm at all times. Their burger place was nice. Easy to order. Burger was juicy, tasty and reasonably priced. However their super star was the extra crunchy fries. Sorry I didn't get a picture I got distracted while tasting and couldn't put the food down to take a picture :) their meals come with a gigantic drink which surprised me $12.99 is nothing for this value.

There is a basketball court, mini golf ($), a pool and Jacuzzi, swimming area in the lake with boat rentals ($) an ice cream shop, a camp store and a whole lot of acreage to explore **Work outing experience** We were promised free unlimited mini golf until 5 PM. However, there were many discrepancies with the time. One woman told us that it ended at 2 because the Jimmy fun took over while other coworkers told me it ended at 3. I understand it's a camping area, but if somebody has a paid block of time, it should be accommodated!! We asked our supervisors why this was and they said Odetah changed it last minute on the day of, even though we had paperwork and flyers since the end of July! I guess it really does come down to money at the end of the day!

I told her I have a pit bull and ....couldn't finish the sentence. "No, we don't allow them." I understand many places do not, those places that feed into all the negative bullshit about the breed and don't educate themselves. Aside from that, this woman's demeanor on the phone was very unwelcoming. Glad they don't accept my dog now as I wouldn't want that kind of un-hospitality somewhere I am paying money. Ended up finding a much better place where they accept my dogs without breed limitations and a lovely sounding host.

"How about through Devil's Hopyard?" This was a common discussion between my partner & I. It was only during our last ride that we actually parked our bikes & got off them to explore. So imagine my delight to find waterfalls, creeks, beautiful trails, & a covered bridge! There were quite a few people there, but it didn't feel crowded at all. It was possible to evenly disperse ourselves to not disturb other people. The only con (& this is just Mother Nature at work, so all we can do is prepare better in the future) is the amount of mosquitos. Load up on your favorite deet free bug repellant & you'll be good to go.

Dinning hall with functional industrial kitchen, BarBQ pits, campfire pits, game hall, baseball field, basket ball court, horse shoe game, and water to fish (great catches!). The A-OK is because the park is being upgraded, and the current condition does not make me a fan... yet! However the service we received from Camp Cedarcrest was phenomenal, you guys are awesome!

Two playgrounds , the one by the main office is AMAZING, our kids spent hours playing and having fun. Stocked store, Rec hall, with rentable yard games, weekend activities. Pool. The only complaint I have would be the location of the electrical hook ups for the weekend campsites, compared to the fire pit, I felt as if we needed to move our camper further away and fun the extension cord because I was afraid of the fire being to close. Also the campsite we had was not very level, so we had to use several stabilizers to get one side high enough to level out. I didn't take many pictures because we were busy outside playing, but we really did enjoy our stay. ****Also make sure to be aware of their visitor policy and prices*****
