I came into this establishment a few weeks ago for a pedicure. The nail tech JENNIFER cut my feet so bad I could not walk. On both feet I had cuts deep enough to the point I was bleeding. On top of that they still charged me for the service . When I went back to get my money back, the manager refused to let me see their licenses for both the tech and the shop . It took one of his employees to step in and finally allow me to do so. He continue to talk in his language to his employees and by the look of their faces I knew he was saying some disreslectful things about me. After I asked him to stop talking I his language and for him to speak English he refused to do so. AGAIN one of his employees had to step in a apologize for his behavior. I will report this shop to the board, for both the nail tech and the shop manager. I've also contacted BBB. My feet are ruined . I've never had someone to have to use the grater on my feet because my feet never needed it. As a professional nail tech, she is suppose to know what her client needs and what they don't need. She did the OPPOSITE. Also, I do know that there's NEW MANAGEMENT because not ALL TECHS in there are licensed. THE LICENSE NUMBER THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME WAS NOT REGISTERED TO THE LADY THAT DID MY FEET. The guy informed me that his insurance company was suppose to call me but I still haven't heard anything . Also, I asked for the owner number & he gave a bad number. The fact that he thinks im stupid has me elated! He treated me in such a disrespectful manner & I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy . The worked is half ass and is they do somethi g wrong they do not accept ownership . I had to miss work because of this. It is not my fault that I have CUTS ON MY FEET. FYI: THEY STILL HAVEN'T HEALED YET . I HOPE the owner sees this and gets rid of his unprofessional, rude, disrespectful manager. read more

One of the best pedicures I have EVER had! I am new to Houston and have tried 4 different nail places before going to the closest one to my apartment aka Sun Ray Nails! I don't know why I didn't just start there in the first place. I forgot to ask the woman who did my pedicure her name but she was young and had brown hair with bangs. My feet were in pretty bad shape and when I left they looked great! The salt scrub, massage and hot towel were sooooo nice! For $22 for a pedicure this place is a steal! Once I got home I noticed I messed up one of my toes so I went back and they fixed it with no questions asked. I will for sure be back here soon! read more

Recently had a horrible experience here and will never return. The lady did a horrible job on a French Shallac manicure, which they insisted I get like they are highly skilled at it, but they're not to find out. It was so bad that I asked her to take it off. No way could I leave it on for weeks to stare at it only to remind me why I paid for such an awful manicure. In additional, they push you into purchasing a pedicure package. I've been here before and had a mani and pedi for $34. I expected to pay that amount Instead they charged me $65.00 for a mani and pedi that I didn't even get. They charged me $30 for Shallac manicure that I didn't walk out with plus I didn't ask for hot wax and I didn't ask for hot stone yet they did it and charged me for it. The entire time the workers were speaking in Vietnamese, talking about me/customer obviously. Don't let them trick you in purchasing a pedicure special package just to pay more than what a usual pedicure should be. I hope others don't fall for the same trap. read more

Not impressed by the quality of service. Went there with my BFFs.. we got our hands and feet done... started together and finished at totally different times. Half the things (massage, pumice stone, mask) were not done when she was doing my pedicure. We went well before closing too. I only realized when my friend in the next chair was getting some of those things within the same package. She had long breaks in between her pedicure too. By then I was already almost done but I mentioned it to their lead person. After numerous reminders, I got a pretty weak massage at the end. Not going back. read more

Mimi did my nails- She did an amazing job. The owner is meticulous about everything being clean and perfect. The salon is so great and with service you receive fresh in- season fruit and your choice of cocktail from a full bar. Huge selection of colors for nails also. I went to this place for the first time yday to get my shellac manicure and pedicure done. I absolutely loved their service. The staff was very very friendly and offered me something to drink as they started working on my nails. Manicure was neat and they did not rush me at all. Felt relaxing after a really long time. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a spa on westheimer. Their price is $4-$5 over other spas but totally worth. read more

Quality has definitely gone down over time. I just got a manicure two days ago, and I already need to take it off. It's just a mess. They didn't push my cuticles back enough, so the polish is all bumpy at the base of my nail (since they painted over my skin), the top coat is super sloppy, most of their polishes are now dried out, services seem to be hit or miss, and they cut me 3 times over 2 appointments. I also have some concerns about the sanitation of their tools, because the package they take them out of is never actually sealed (extra concerning considering they keep cutting me). I guess I'm done going here, which is really too bad considering they are so close to me, and they're super nice. read more

I've been getting mani and pedis here for a few months. Normally they do a good job, today...not so much! A woman I've never seen before, did my pedi, it was horrible. The polish job was bad, and she did not massage me (like they normally do). I said something about her not doing the massage, and she argued with me, and still did not do it!! I was so disappointed, and I told the girl at the counter when checking out, but she only took 2 dollars off my payment!!! I will go again, but I'm expecting them to make up for the bad service I had, if they don't, I'm done! read more

This is our first time here, and it was a wonderful experience. All the staff were kind to us, and very friendly. They told us they had just remodeled the place about three months ago, and now it's a different experience apparently. Now they have cocktails during happy hour times during the week; but we went on a Sunday evening and the drinks and appetizers were free! They are delicious! Cindy did my pedicure and she was very good and thorough. The drinks are made by hand. We have already told our friends about this place and we are definitely going to come back here again. This place is great! Extremely clean, and the staff is so friendly! The owner is great host, making sure everyone gets greeted promptly and that you have a cocktail in your hand in no time! I got the signature Sun Ray cocktail, and the Pretty Pedicure. Both were overly impressive! I hate that I don't live in Houston, and can't make this my regular salon.
