Except, they won't come off easily like nail polish. They started to grow shorter as nails grow longer. It took him several weeks of washing and finally someone used paint solvent to remove the shellacs. Sigh... shellacking is not for every man. I haven't given up on Milano. I just need to find a right time to visit. Because I have a bruise on my toe, I waited until it got better before coming here. I ordered a classic refreshing pedicure package ($32). I am not into polish or massaging or anything fancy. The 30-minute nail treatment was good enough for me. Beautician Mary was my pedicurist. She took good care of my feet, especially that bruised toe. She was patient and friendly. My feet felt so rejuvenated and ready to do my routine park walk. I will be back in a few months. That's not a fair or professional business practice. I've been a loyal Milano customer for years, and there are no rewards, no loyalty perks, no incentives...nothing to make customers feel valued. Instead, it feels like they tack on extra charges wherever they can. $110 for a basic gel manicure is absurd. There are plenty of independent nail techs who offer higher-quality service for far less. In this economy, Milano's practices feel exploitative and sketchy. This company is not transparent and does not prioritize customer trust. I won't be returning.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed the layers were uneven and didn't blend well at all. The cut just didn't turn out the way I hoped, especially considering the higher price. I even called the next day to share my feedback, but she gave reasons for why it turned out that way instead of really listening. Hair will grow, but after this experience, I think it's time to find another salon that knows how to cut and blend layers properly.
