Samantha has the worst customer service, I have never seen something like that. She really doesn't know how to speak to the customer. I'm their member since 3 years ago. I was there tonight and 2 costumers were there, they used the same tanging bed that I always used. Samantha didn't say that they are going to use she said i have to clean it she didn't say these customers are going to use it then I saw they went to that room, I asked her what's going on, she didn't want to reply, she said yes they were there but in a bad manner, RUDE. I backed after 15min then Samantha said we are closing, I wonder how rude is she. She is very rude she doesn't have a manner she doesn't know how to speak to the costumer. Then she said in a very bad accent I will let you go. Who are you ? That's your job, I think she doesn't know about her job. I really scared, because she wanted to take me out I was waiting what should I to do. Unfortunately I don't have time to teach her some manner but she really needs to change her behavior and I want her manager talk to her. She had to know what's she doing, she has to know she's doing wrong. Who's she to talk to customer like that. That is not customer service. Samantha is doing the WORST customer service. That's not okay to talk to people like that. No you can't have this behavior, it is not acceptable. Good overall ! I got the custom spray tan and was/am ( 4 days later ) very happy with my results the girl at the front/ who sprayed me was really good, I liked the fact that I could shower after 2hrs instead of having to wait about 8 ... the only bad thing was that the solution doesn't really dry so it will be all over the your clothes ( cosmetic layer she called it, I had Aired myself out for at least 5-8 min ) I haven't had that issue before when spray tanning, but that wasn't that big of a deal breaker for me, I was very fair and I went with a darker option and I'm glad I did I've done a medium tan before and always told myself to go darker so this time I tried it , and I'm glad i did , I look bronzed and sun kissed , everyone thought I had gone to the beach or was in the sun because it looks so natural which is always the goal ! Had a great experience today getting a infrared body wrap for the first time. Itzel helped me out and was very informative, polite and attending. Not only was she taking care of me, but she was running the front desk while helping all the customers with their tanning needs. The whole process went very smoothly. She wrapped me up, went over all the temperatures, and checked on me every 15 minutes. I felt relaxed for the entire 50 minute session even though it was rush hour. Well I needed some color to hide scars and thus spray tan was the way to go I was told by my friends. The cashier suggested that I get an airbrush tan done vs machine.The ladies there were very nice and I have a really good deal. I love NVS Sun Spa's Northridge location. I go for the body wrap treatments. I am always greeted by friendly staff each time I arrive. The spa is clean the rooms are clean. It's a nice break for me because my week days are hectic. The location is convenient. I live in Santa Clarita and it takes just minutes to get there. Parking is always available. I've been going for weekly body wrap treatments and I will continue to do so as long as the service is offered. Excellent customer service. I've had body wrap treatments in popular LA spas that are always booked out days in advance and the parking is usually impossible, but if you live in Santa Clarita or the San Fernando Valley NVS is the place to go.The prices are very reasonable. read more

I have been going to this tanning salon for many years now. The bulbs are always strong and replaced frequently. I have never had a complaint in not getting good color from a tan. I do recommend the matrix bed though. I am not into the spray tan where someone has to spray your body, but I do love the versa spa machine. It's private and the spray smells amazing! gives great color as well. The parking is extremely hectic in the evenings so early visits are the best time to go, for me anyway. The best thing that I like about the salon is the employees. They are always extremely courteous and helpful. They keep the beds and salon impeccable. I have also gone in when the owners of the salon are present, and they are also extremely conscientious and in touch with their clients. I have recommended several of my own clients and friends to go to this salon and they have also been very happy with their experiences. I've heard horror stories about spray tans and I was a little hesitant on trying it, so I called the salon to get a little more information. I swear I asked the worlds amount of questions and the girl I spoke to was so patient and super friendly. When I came in to get the spray tan, Itzya helped me out and was the one who gave me the spray tan. She was so friendly and informative! She did an amazing job spraying me, too. Sun Spa Tanning is far from the "Ultimate Tanning Experience". I left there disappointed one too many times. The front desk gals can't seem to get their reservations/ notes logged in correctly. I paid for the highest grade bed for a 3 week period ending on a specific date of the 29th (an added extra few days so I was told for being a 1st time customer?) Turned out to be a surprise untruth. Beware of your room #1 expectations because its the only bed that actually works and there's always line for it. understandably so. So don't bother paying for the highest level or for the "best bed". You probably wont get a chance to use it and the other beds have old bulbs that do nothing. Also, I heard this more then one time. " Sir you will be up next in room 1 they have 6 mins left"... 20 mins later.. "oh i'm sorry this person (that just walked in) was here before you and is going into room 1. It'll be just another 12 mins. ". $200 for 10-15 visits and barely any results. I look forward to burning in Mexico next week. read more

She made me feel really comfortable, the coverage she did was beautiful and as someone who doesn't do this too often she gave me all the information I needed to keep it lasting as long as possible. In the past I have chosen to do the custom spray tan, where a technician hand sprays you. I've only had positive experiences with this, thank goodness! I did not have time to book an appointment my last visit so I nervously opted for the Versa Spa (which is a booth that sprays you). I Chose the darkest level, level 3 and within minutes my spray was complete! When I stepped out of the booth I was nervous that I might be streaky or that it might be obvious I just got a spray tan! Luckily, when I looked into the mirror I was beyond satisfied with my results! It looked so natural! I've been getting nothing but positive feedback on my tan!!! So I was going to Vegas for Labor Day weekend and needed a tan fast, I went to NVS for an airbrush tan session. The girl who did the tan was super nice and explained to me not to shower for atleast 8 hours, so to be safe i waited to do the rinse (no shampoo, soap or loofa) till the next day. My tan was really nice until friday when i took a shower in luke warm water with a gentle soap. I get out of the shower completely irate because the tan had no faded to almost invisible. I'm sorry but an airbrush should last more than 48 hours. So disappointed that I will never go to this salon again, and i even used to have a monthly membership with them. Biggest waste of $40. My advise go elsewhere and really do your research first. read more
