The outdated decor and mixed matched style of the old place was renewed with clean colors, beach decor, and some very cool design elements. The prices remain fair but are now displayed to be more easily read and understood than the old 'menu' of options. The bulbs have also been replaced recently and they added sunless tanning as an option. Great place, check it out!

I was told to go to the bathroom and use the toilet paper or paper towels if I wanted to take it off. eek. They were also out of barrier lotion, so the woman at the front said to "try and scrape as much as you can off the side of the bottle. That's what everyone else has been doing I think." eek. Also, the woman at the front was kinda rude and acted like she didn't want me there. She seemed like she didn't know what was going on and when I asked a question (it was my first time so I had a few questions) she made it seem like it was a very stupid question. I just don't think customer service and talking to people is her thing. When I was about to get the actual spray tan, the light above me started flickering like it was about to go out. Kinda like a strobe light, and it kept doing this for the entire 15 minutes I was in there. It was kind of funny honestly, but also made me feel like I was insane because I was also scraping lotion off the inside of a bottle and applying it to my knuckles and elbows wearing only a hairnet. A gosh darn wild ride let me tell you. The tan itself looked pretty good, which is why I gave it a two instead of a one, but they need to do some SERIOUS work with being friendly and having the right supplies. 2/5 for sure.

It took close to an hour and 45mins for a service that usually takes 45-50mins max. The person servicing my mom was extremely slow to do her nails because she didn't know what she was doing and this was even confirmed by the owner. Because it took so long, no massage or lotion was included like other customers. The owner and another staff member coming to work in pajamas with extra long acrylic eagle talons for nails was definitely a red flag & I should of seen this coming. The owner was forcing my mom to basically pay $100 for a very sloppy, lumpy & time-consuming manicure. After some time of arguing, she decided to lower it to $75 (still an overcharge) because of miscommunication, and didn't even apologize. The owner was extremely reluctant to see the problem from another person's point of view & stood firm on her pricing with a sense of entitlement. Apparently, she's very proud of the mediocre work that comes out of her shop & demands full payment, even if that means ripping off customers. And never once were we expecting a free or discounted service. We just wanted to pay what was fair for the low-quality that was given. I found them to be very unprofessional, unreasonable, hostile and overall a huge lack of customer service skills. Continuously talking over people in a louder voice doesn't make your claim any stronger or correct. Instead of turning a negative to positive experience to create a repeat customer, the owner opted to give major attitude to a senior customer with broken English, knowing there was a lack of communication on your businesses behalf and that was disappointing. Very ghetto, to say the least. If you're going to charge premium pricing, a premium service needs to follow. No one in their right mind can look at these sad nails & genuinely feel they got their money's worth.

However, they charged $15 for the soak off, $12 to choose nail polish color (it was $8 for no color) and $10 to shape the nails (just filing them down because they'd grown so long). So $92 before tip. For exactly what every other salon provides in the manicure price. I was just wondering what the $55 covered if not filing and painting the nails? I am a V on the Fitzpatrick scale. I called a week prior to my appointment to express my concerns and actually had the opportunity to speak witht the owner. She assured me I'd be well taken care of and that they've turned people away that they didn't think they'd get results from. So that made me feel a lot better. Upon my arrival, there were clip boards with ceramic name plates so you knew which one was yours. I personally thought that was a cute touch. I was greeted immediately and was offered something to drink. They had waters, coffee, and sodas. I had several papers to fill out due to it being my first time. After completeing all my paper work, the owner came out and actually spoke to me and asked if I was who she talked to. She told me Jamie would be the the one to do my procedure, and again ensured me that I would be in good hands. Visually, this place is appealing to the eye. Their decor was amazing. They had a candle out with a sign saying which scent was being burnt. This place does all kind of things such as facials and massages. During my consultation, Jamie explained to me how the laser worked in great detail and had lots of visual aids. She also showed me before, during, and after photos of people that had gone through the tattoo removal process. She also included some of people of color. She legit answered every question I had and was very patient. Initially I did not plan to have it done that day and was only going for the consultation, but she made me feel very at ease about doing it. SO I DID IT!!! The laser part took literally less than 5 minutes. She also allowed me breaks whenever I asked for them or would break when she could see my body getting tight. Hope to leave another positive review after the process is completed.
