Absolutely horrible. If you are having your first child DO NOT GO HERE! I had a woman who rushed…read morethe entire process and completely ruined the experience of our first time hearing our child's heartbeat. She listened to two thuds and snatched it off and handed me a paper towel like I disgusted her. I wasn't able to make my appointments at their convenience because of my work schedule so when I got a new schedule and called them they said the soonest they could get me in was Jan 7 ( my due date is Jan 25th 2014) ! I come from a town where prenatal care is taken very seriously and doctors go the extra mile just to make the experience one you will cherish...HERE! Please! She rushed us when did go to the point of rolling her eyes when I had questions, getting upset with me because I was told that I would be receiving and ultrasound and they put me in a room WITH the equipment only to tell me "we don't do that here" I went to the ER and they told me they do, they should have, and they don't understand how she could let me be so far along and not give me one mind you I was 25 weeks when I got it and it wasn't even from the Apopka community health center. Bottom line the place is clean and they accepted my insurance, that's the only reason I went. But after I called them for three days and their automated system disconnected my calls and I had to schedule a call back for 5pm and didn't get my call back until 7:15 pm and when I did she basically told me she couldn't accommodate...I was done so now at 33 weeks pregnant I have to see if I'm able to find a new doctor because dealing with them had been a freaking nightmare!

Although I've had many issues, the straw that broke the camels back occurred when one of my daughter's crowns fell off. I was on the phone back and forth with the front desk about this issue atleast three different times using my phone number that is on all of the paperwork as the main number. When they heard back from the dentist, they proceeded to call her dad at work (the back up phone number) and I didn't receive the Information for several days. If they can't even call the correct phone number, I'd hate to see the number of HIPAA violations going on here. Upon coming in for them to re-cement her crown, I was asked to pay $73! Over the phone I was told there wouldn't be a cost. I was told the reason for this is that they are out of network with her insurance. I was NEVER made aware of this. In fact, I was specifically told that her insurance would be run prior to her appointment and I would be notified if there were any issues. You can't tell someone several appointments in that you are out of network with their insurance! I explained this to the woman at the front desk. No empathy was felt and absolutely NO Accountability was taken. She was very cold and said that it was stated that apparently the fact that her insurance is out of network was on the new patient paperwork. I do not remember seeing that. I also don't believe it should be the patient's responsibility to understand insurance jargon and determine if they are in network or not. Especially when I was assured I would be notified of any issues and quoted $0. I filled out a records release form and switched dentists on the spot. So happy I will never have to deal with the extremely rude front office staff again. This is small by comparison to the other issues I've had here, but I also overheard some office staff here giggling and making fun of what I was wearing. I find this to be extremely immature and unprofessional. I would recommend finding a different office for your child.

I'm so disappointed with Lake Mary Pediatric Dentistry (Dr. Nick White). We've been going there…read moresince my son was a toddler. My disabled daughter was supposed to have surgery with them in September and we had to put a deposit down to save her spot. We ended up going through a different dentist and hospital for the surgery and LMPD didn't return my deposit. After weeks and eventually months of calling and requesting it they sent me a check with the wrong name on it. Another few weeks went by of me calling and requesting a new check, saying I would bring in the old one, and being told that person who writes checks was out of the office or didn't return my calls i became frustrated. When I spoke to the office manager about it she very curtly said that the Dr was in the hospital with appendicitis and that his wife is the one that writes the checks. I asked her if she could understand why I was frustrated and she basically told me to get over it and wait. We hung up and called back to explain to her that I understood that my check issue didn't take precedence with the doctor in the hospital. I, unfortunately, used the phrase "I know you don't care..." the office manager then proceed to yell at me on the phone about how I was putting words in her mouth, I didn't know her, etc. She then proceeded to contact the Dr's wife, request she leave the hospital, and fix the check issue. When she called me back to tell me she stated multiple times that his wife was leaving the hospital for MY issue. My daughter went to an emergency dental appt at another clinic on Thursday (the day I was supposed to pick up the check) and received a text message from the dentist's wife insinuating she had to leave her husband's bedside for my check. I just received a letter this morning stating the kids are released from the practices PER MY REQUEST. I never requested that. They back dated the letter to make it look like it wasn't due to the check and nonpayment issue. I'm so disappointed. We loved the Dr. White and his staff. They worked so well with Lorelai but bc of their issue my kiddos have been dismissed. Such a shame.

Dr. Allie Miller is an absolute godsend…read more When my five-year-old daughter was terrified of going to the dentist--even for a basic checkup--and other dentists immediately recommended full sedation for her cavities, Dr. Miller was the one who truly listened to me as a mom. She took the time to understand both my concerns and my daughter's fears. From the moment we walked in, she made my daughter feel comfortable and safe. Her calm, gentle approach put her at ease right away. Amazingly, she was able to fill two cavities in one visit--and my daughter left with nothing but positive things to say. She's now actually looking forward to going back! I highly recommend Dr. Allie to any family, especially if your child is anxious about dental visits. If you're hoping to avoid sedation and want a pediatric dentist who will listen and respect your concerns, she is truly one of the best. We are so grateful we found her.

I've brought my 2-year old here twice now and this office is fantastic for little ones!…read moreThe lobby (and whole office really) is decked out with an aquatic theme, video games, coffee, and interesting things to look at. The staff is friendly and wonderful. Kat, the dental assistant, is great with the kids. My toddler loves that he can watch his favorite cartoons upside down from the "green chair". Every station he gets a little something to positively reinforce his participation in the experience (stickers, little toy, and of course, he got to pick what kind of toothbrush he wanted). Doctor Allie and her team just know what they are doing. Even when making the appt, they are patient and flexible. My toddler (and I) actually enjoy going- and I don't know many that can say that about a dentist's appt.
