Their hours are generous 7am to 930pm every day which is great, especially since they aren't 24hr. And they have vending machines as well as a sitting area with a TV, which is good because I often forget my books at home. I can wash my entire wardrobe for under $20! That's a bargain! Plenty of space inside, semi-limited parking outside, but not a deal breaker. Designated washers for greasy clothing and others for soaking, larger options for quilts, blankets...etc. And smaller, budget-friendly options as well. Living alone, I usually only do one or two loads of laundry a week and this place meets that need flawlessly. They also offer dry-cleaning services, which I have yet to try but have heard good things. The locals, although unique, tend to keep you themselves. Never felt uncomfortable here as I have with a few other places on the north end. There are even outlets abundant for charging a phone or using a laptop. No sense in not getting anything done while you're here!! :)

She pummeled me with accusations like how does she know I didn't put it in the hanger like that, why did I wait a week ( it was a holiday and they were closed and I worked so I could get there in a day or two) why wouldn't I just try wearing it ( it's summer, for one, that wouldn't fix it, for another) did I even request it not to be hung ( of course not, any fine gauge cashmere or nice knit would normally never be hung) and on and in. I said... can you let me speak ? I am not upset, I just want it fixed. She replied there would be no promises made and I could check back after Thursday. Then today at pick up... she was actually nasty. She said I was not being reasonable and nobody cares if sweaters are hung like that, and I asked her why she was so upset about my sweater and me wanting it fixed. She ranted and insulted. I honestly cannot believe the way she spoke to me. The story goes on and on, but she would let me speak and was so unreasonable I just had to leave shaking my head wondering what the heck !?!?!

I'm going from loyal customer here to never coming back. I had slowly stopped coming to the clintonville coin-op when I noticed a decline in their cleanliness shortly after they reopened. I started visiting other laundromats. I came back to give coin-op a try again and I'm disgusted to see they haven't improved their cleaning at all. This is the inside of the first machine I stopped at, 45 minutes into the day's opening, with the attendant chilling at the desk. So I skip the machine and go check some others. Checked at least four other machines. Each one was filthy. Dog hair, lint, gunk, coins, KIBBLE?? I found the cleanest one I could and wiped out the inside as much as I was able (it was still pretty grimy). Honestly I regret doing that wash. When it was over, I ended up just grabbing the 'clean' clothes and the rest of my clothes and putting them back in my car. No idea where I'm going to wash them next, but it's definitely not here. This place really used to be my favorite, but they need to seriously implement some stronger cleaning protocols and follow up on them.

I counted last time I was there (Nov 2025), and 20% of their machines were down. That's 1 in 5 and that is not an exaggeration.
