I love this little plaza of beer and food! Parking is very easy with a large, free lot across the street. The brewery had 5 of their own beers and about 10 guest taps - so lots to choose from! We had their hefe which was really good. Do food, they have a wrap place, pizza place and a Mac n cheese place all inside to choose from. We opted for the wrap place and ordered the Cuban sandwich and the ahi tune bowl. Both were extremely delicious! The tuna was so fresh and they gave me an option of quinoa or rice. There's plenty of seating inside and there was also a musician playing while we were there. If you walk toward the back of the brewery portion, you overlook the tanks and where the actual brewing takes place. It was very clean and fresh on the inside. There's also lots of outdoor seating - both covered and not. We sat under the covered area. The food places have the option for you to provide your cell # and they will text when your food is ready. I really liked the concept of this place. It reminded me of a small scale Crooked Can & Plant Street Market in Orlando. It was a nice little gem we found on our road trip home. Boyfriend and I used the Central Florida Ale Trail as an excuse to venture into unfamiliar territory on Saturday. We had the whole afternoon so we decided to visit one of the father breweries on the trail. Two are in Clermont, so we made the decision to visit. It was FABULOOOUS! It had similar family elements as Crooked Can in Winter Garden, but on a much smaller scale so it wasn't over crowded, loud, and slow. Instead, it was more private and less rushy. They have a delicious pizza place inside, a mac and cheese stand, and a deli type vendor with sandwiches and such (they made the best popcorn only second to movie theater popcorn). I enjoy the serenity of it being surrounded by nature. I was also surprised at all of the families with their kids at the brewery. It's just a funny concept to me. But thank heaven it's a concept at all, because that it definitely my parenting style. read more

This is a cool downtown brewery. I like that you can get a flight of beer inside, grab some food, and enjoy it on the outdoor patio area. They also had live music. Spent the day out in Clermont after I dropped the wife off for a massage nearby, and dropped in here to enjoy some quality beer. I always love to see a brewery where every beer on tap is their own, and Suncreek definitely delivered. Being fall, they had their own spin of a pumpkin beer on tap, as well as most any variety from stout to IPA. The staff was friendly and helped to answer questions on beers I ordered. Flights were offered, and a great way to sample many beers as always. The space itself here was nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating. After talking with the bartender there, I learned they do special releases which they drop on social media to inform you of when they are available. Creativity in these releases is important, and the most recent one of Schmello is one that will have me driving back just to try it. This is always our hangout go-to place when we are going to meet someone for a beer. You can bring your dog and sit outside on their front porch area. Both indoor and outdoor seating is offered. Easy and accessible parking is available and it's located in a nice area of Clermont. I've had several of their beers now and while they tend to be hop forward, there are a few other options if it isn't your jam. The Milk Stout comes to mind. Each time I've been here the bartenders have been knowledgeable and helpful. You can even taste a beer before commuting to a full pint or just do a flight. Good local brewery with some craft beers. They rotate out the menu with different brews they make locally as well as some from other breweries in the area. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They can explain the different types as well as provide small samples if you are unsure. In their location they have several food selections in the same building that are very good as well. This is a great brewery located by downtown Clermont and the waterfront trail. They have a rotating cider on tap that I always get. It is hit or miss. Some days it tastes bubbly and some days it's a little flat. Normally I can tolerate the hit or miss but the last time I ordered a mango cider it was a huge miss (flat, no bubbles at all). The gentleman was kind enough to let me switch to another draft on tap and that tasted so much better. The service here is friendly as well as dog friendly! Although Suncreek isn't fully operational at the time of this review, they are open for business and seem to be doing a nice job. What I mean by not being fully operational, is they are not brewing on site yet. They've got all their taps going pouring guest beers with the exception of I believe just one of their own; Squishy. Squishy is contract brewed offsite but will soon be brewed here in Clermont with their other lineup upon completion of their brewing equipment. They did a nice job in the tasting room and the modern decor is just great. There is an outdoor patio in front too for al fresco drinking. Expect good things when totally completed. read more

My wife's wine tastes excellent, I had a Riesling. The pizza from stone fire of a regular cheese with basil was excellent. The service was on point. I got a Greek wrap with no olives, but you have to like low calorie from savorie with no meat. Try the ground turkey if you want some protein. We paid as a couple about 45 bucks in total. Miss the corn hole but Covid...you know. Ate outside and wasn't over packed. Still wish macd out had the lobster so could eat there again. read more

What a great find. Went there today with our pup. We couldn't have felt more welcome. They allow dogs inside! Beertender even asked us which size of dog biscuit to give our girl. Sampled three ipas. I'm so happy that Suncreek is here. While I didn't realize that they have not yet had their grand opening, I've been here several times now and everything seems to be running smoothly during their soft opening. Currently they are hosting a lot of other Florida beers, with only a few of theirs on tap. Each of theirs that I have tried, I have enjoyed. My husband and I have been able to sit at the bar and chat with the staff during our visits, we've also taken a seat at their tables when our group is larger. We've eaten from both restaurants inside and are very happy with everything thus far. I haven't been outside to sit and relax, but I think (and I hope, hope, hope) that it is a non-smoking patio (and hope, hope, hope that they will have signs stating "no smoking within xx feet of establishment," but I realize that beyond Starbucks, most restaurants/bars don't do that. (A girl can dream of a place she can go without her allergies taking over.) I digress, the place is awesome and once I discover more about the patio, I will update. I did see a game of corn hole outside and they seem to be dog friendly outdoors. If the first 3 beers of theirs that I tried are any indication of how things are going to go, I look forward to trying more of their beers. When on vaca we like to check out as many craft breweries as we can. We also love the Claremont area so we were happy to have lunch at Suncreek when our friends found it on yelp. Suncreek has a large patio with tables outside that unfortunately we would not be enjoying on this wet, rainy day. Inside is actually several businesses. The brewery is on the right with several tables & a bar. They serve a couple of their own beers & a couple of others. They had a beer from another local brewery & one from a brewery in MI, all on tap. The brew tanks are on a basement floor below the bar but are visible from an open viewing area in the brewery. The left side of the building sports several food options including pizza, wraps, salads, bowls & soon to come Mac & cheese. These are 3 different food vendors. I opted for a vegetable wrap with egg, spinach & avocado from Savoree. Wraps are served with a pickle. We all shared an order of spicy pickles as well; very good! This was a cool little place. Painted within the chain of Central Florida lakes, is its third largest, named after a deep-red citrus fruit called, "Minneola." Sitting just a block away from this historic lake is a new addition. A brewery and restaurant which has artfully created its first IPA of essences from the very area in which it sits. This brewery, appropriately called, "Suncreek," is what you would want from an area that embraces its fruit packing roots on tomatoes, oranges and the railroad that would bring them to nearby distribution centers. The brewery enfolds elements of innovations and modernism into the building's aesthetics which resembles a 1930's work environment for an American Fruit Company. You would almost expect to see stacked wooden fruit crates drenched in sweat, the kind that made this city a bustling agribusiness hub. The brewery's interiors are not afraid to show off its steel beam bones, the stucco between the concrete walls and occasional scars of its floors. It's raw and it's warranted. While built new, it has not withdrawn from the pulse of its past. I tried Suncreek's only current brew which for now, is made at an offsite location. Like a new acquitance introducing themselves, this first IPA is interesting and well-balanced. The IPA is swollen with a flavor but not like many of the over-embellished, over-hoppy IPAs in the market today. I'm happy the master brewer put some time thought into its creation. It smells humble with clear citrus aromas and is displayed to the palette with comforting bites of citrus finishing with a lingering taste of honey. It may be the deal ambassador of beer to not only the brewery, but to Clermont. What is strange about this place? Eye contact. Couples left and right and discussing, planning, thinking, aspiring and strengthening relationships on this late Friday afternoon. No one seems to be in a rush. It's not an afterwork crowd like you would see in downtown Orlando or uptown New York. Instead they are engaged, leaning thoughtfully forward or back in their chairs soaking in the good conversation. It's nice to be able to hold a conversation without overbearing music or 12 different televised sporting events. There is a time and place for that and while Suncreek could accommodate for a big game, it's not its intention. Something is happening here. I see children coming in from Swim team, dance and other after school activities. I see Moms, Dads, grandparents, older and young couples alike, business partners, aspiring business partners. The staff seems engaged in few conversations and I do worry in their ability to circulate to everyone in a timely manner but they have done fine with me and my friend. I didn't get the pizza next door but made a note to bring my wife here as a date night. It smelled great. Clearly, this is the place for all of Clermont and the future of this great city. It may just represent what we were hoping for in this many years. read more

Visiting my cousin all the way from Hawaii and they recommended Suncreek for lunch today. It is located in the middle of Clermont in a quaint little town. We got there right in time for lunch, the place wasn't too busy at this time and we were able to get seating quickly and order our food right away. Upon walking in it is a little confusing as a first time patron. You have the bar area/brewery area to the right, in the middle looks to be a grill area and pizza oven with its own menu and then to the left there is another counter with a much more vast menu and looks to offer some specials. I really didn't know where to start or if a server was going to be by to take our orders. I went ahead and walked over to the brewery to try some of the local brews and order a drink, sampled a few options and settled for the strawberry blonde. This was really tasty. I then walked back to the left side where we were sitting to order and decided to go with the prime rib dip with potato salad. Food came out pretty quick with no issues however my sandwich was mediocre and didn't have really any taste if not for that au jus. The place has great outdoor seating and tons of space but just a little confusing when it comes to direction. I would think about placing a host at front to guide your patrons a little better. read more

This is what Clermont needed. Nice place. Wish it had a few more long picnic tables inside as it was too chilly to be outside last night. Beer selection was good. Hubs got a sampler and they each were tasty. I was quite fond of the baby cakes stout- mild with not a strong coffee flavor. I dislike coffee but love a strong dunkel- so I was super happy with this and the Dragons Milk. Mom enjoyed the red house wine. Food: had wings- highly recommend- crispy outside and not dried out. Greek salad was huge fresh and yummy. Bacon jam burger- disappointing it was dry (well done- they didn't ask what temperature we wanted it at) and overall flavorless. When we said something the response was "you didn't tell us you wanted it medium rare" . The Mac'd out is coming- I've had their food at the crooked can so that will be a wonderful addition. Hoping to see a few more appetizers selections as this place grows. Had a nice one man singer/guitar for Saturday night entertainment. So it does get a bit loud but he did a great job. read more

My fiancé had been wanting to come out to this brewery for the longest but the drive always discouraged me lol well moral of the story always listen to his recommendations more often .... What a cool place to hang out with friends and / or family over Florida beers (some that's house-made), wine on tap, tasty food and lawn games! The location is scenic and relaxing, positioned in beautiful downtown Clermont just a block away from Lake Minneola and Waterfront Park. 3 different vendors share the building, which is set up like a small market (think East End Market or Plant Street Market) or very hip, chill food court. Counter-service dining at its finest! The beer menu typically features at least 10 different beers, with something to satisfy nearly every taste--from light lagers to hoppy IPAs to bold Belgian-style brews. And I particularly like the wine on tap, which is reasonably priced at about $6 a glass. Actually... everything is pretty reasonably priced. When hunger strikes, the adjacent pizza market and healthy taco market serve up tasty meals and light bites. The pizza location also serves tater tots and spicy pickles, which I highly recommend. As far as ambiance goes, the interior is hip and casual... definitely has the feel of an industrial warehouse / brewery, with lots of metal, high ceilings and picnic tables. If the weather is nice, the outside seating area is an excellent place to people-watch and enjoy the small-town ambiance of downtown Clermont. There's a cornhole game at the entrance. And there are usually LOTS of dogs to admire (or just bring your own). It's basically heaven. I wish I could pick this place up and drop it in downtown Orlando so I could come here more often! read more

Was able to snag a sandwich in the deli located inside also very good and not that pricey. Only had two beers but felt good. I will be back to try more. read more
