I stopped by Sundaes for a sweet treat as I had about an hour before my movie was going to begin. It's a nice store, filled with lots of teenagers, but you wouldn't expect less! I think seeing many who would frequent there often is a great sign of a great ice cream place! I like the big selections of both hard and soft ice cream and frozen yogurt! Big selection of toppings as well so there's not one thing overlooked. I got a cup of the Moose Tracks ice cream and it was one of the best I've had. A little bit of everything in every bite! Super disappointed in this place, I use to come here every couple of weeks and get the clear pint with no toppings for 11.99 and I walked in today to ask for it to be informed they price hiked it to 18.99. The soft serve is good but nothing to justify that new management price hike. Disgusting business practice, Carvel is right up there road anyway. I didn't have a bad experience when I came here. The location is convenient with ample parking at a strip mall. I wanted to try something different so I walked in here. I was delighted to see so many flavors of frozen yogurt - gluten and sugar free. They also have acai bowls, shakes, cookie dough bar, ice cream, dippin dots, smoothies, drinks, many toppings, and fruit salads. The ambiance is playful and colorful. It's a fun place. Love love the açaí bowls at Sundaes. Only issue I have is I ordered through door dash a few times for convenience . Each time I received my order, the bag was wide open. It should be secured stapled shut .. any other door dash order through other vendors, the bag is stapled shut and the receipt is attached. I've been to this place quite a few times and enjoy it very much. However I was there tonight and I purchased a polka dot cup and a green one price cup. When I was rung up the price seemed a little much (I always get the same thing so it was more then usual) we questioned the cashier and he said the one price cup only included one topping and the rest you pay extra for. I'm usually not the one to argue, and maybe something changed since my last visit so I just left. Ah yes, another one of those fro yo shops! Sundaes is conveniently located in the same strip mall as PJ Cinemas. Awesome location if you ask me. They got our business because we had some time to kill before our movie started. They offer 14 different flavors of frozen yogurt and ice cream. And you have the option to make a swirl out of the pairings to create additional flavors. They have a decent amount of toppings, but I wasn't too impressed. Only a couple kinds of fresh fruit that didn't look overly fresh. I don't think the topping selection compared to other bigger chains (i.e. Cups). Be extremely careful when you select your cup. The Green Cups are a flat rate of $5.49 for all you can fill. The White Cups are weighed and you pay by the weight. I asked the girl for a tasting cup, and she said that she had to do it for me. Really? Do I look like I'm 5 years old? I'm perfectly capable of dispensing a taste without making a mess. Not a fan of that. But I obliged (I didn't really have a choice since she was keeping the cups hostage behind the counter). The hubby loves vanilla and was extremely disappointed that both vanillas (fro-yo and ice cream) were not working. We asked the girl and she said someone was working on it. Several other people were not happy about this. They need to pay closer attention to when the mix is low to prevent this from happening. My husband only got one flavor as a result and spent less money, their loss. Another customer threw away his cup and walked out. Bad business move if you ask me. Why have your open sign turned on if you're not open? I was told by one of the workers that they open at 9:30 and tried calling and going in and the lights were off.
