Buyer Beware, I bought a vehicle over internet. I 100% understand it's a used car and things can be wrong. But at least disclose. I was never told about a huge door ding, someone hit a curb and ruined rim and tire. Front driver's side molding broke. Some of these are easy fixes, but dang at least tell someone. The door is dinged in a spot I doubt can be fixed and so I'm guessing $800-$1,000 to fix issues. Salesman was Chris F. Plus car was from Canada, so manual and everything to operate car is in French. I was interested in a truck. I was told it was on their Saint Johns lot being fixed. So i went over there and then they said it was in Lansing being fixed. I went to lansing and was told that it was back in Saint Johns. Well my last try, I went back to Saint Johns and it was suppose to be getting fixed in the shop and it wasn't even there. The salesman Arron told me when people call in they get them into the dealership and talk them into buying a different vehicle. He said even the cars that has been sold that Terry leaves them on line just to get people interested and they call in or come in and then they do a switch on vehicles. Arron tried to pull that on me and said that I had to put money down. Ha Ha. I just walked out. I did never see the truck that I wanted to look at either. They dont even get one star in my opinion. I find buying a car is a stressful venture. Luckily I found the car I was looking for on CarGurus and it was at Sundance Buick in St. Johns, about 125 miles far from home, but I liked the car. The People at Sundance dealership are friendly and inviting. I was assigned to salesperson Dave Kern, my second lucky find. I was handled so well you think I was buying a Bently. I appreciate all the help and assistance Dave offered. They delivered my car to my credit union and I signed the papers there. That extra effort was very much appreciated. Overall it was a good experience, in fact, a relief. Thinking back it is probably the best experience I have had buying a car in over 50 years buying my drives (25+ cars). read more

If I could give this dealership 0 rating I would. Bought a van in DEC 17th of 2020 and the transmission just went out FEB 7th. They wont help at all to cover the cost even though I called my sales rep the day after I bought it and left a VM explaining that there was a check engine light on saying something was wrong with the torque converter. No call back. The light went off and now I'm 15k for a vehicle that I cant afford to fix so my family has to walk. I will never purchase anything from them and encourage everyone to stay clear of this car dealership!!! read more

Not only was I lied to (responded to an ad for a car, drove 5-6 hours to the dealership, only to arrive and be told that I made the ad up and the car didn't exist), but was then drug around the car lot looking at cars thousands of dollars over what was talked about with the sales person (I have all the emails to prove this). Was promised they would clean and detail my car before delivery (smelled of cigarette smoke, seats stained, etc), but NONE OF THIS WAS DONE. They didn't even change the oil in the car, which once it was done, we discovered the oil plug was damaged and needed replacing. I've now had to bring this car in twice due to service engine lights and failing sensors and parts only months after buying it. Sundance has been largely unhelpful and never once admitted or apologized for their lies. I have since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I'm not looking for money or a new car, simply trying to warn the next. If you like being lied to, taken advantage of, and no customer service whatsoever; this is your dealership. I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible service. Bought a 2019 Silverado with an extended warranty and had issues with it within the first two weeks. Brought it back in to have them tell me there's nothing wrong with it, so I started looking through the "maintenance report" and found two issues that they found but "service was declined" it was a fuel system and transfer case system. How was the service declined if they never even asked me about it? Terrible service from start to finish especially tattitude received from the woman working in the "service department." If I could give them zero stars I would, I hate angry customers and escalated situations but I had NO CHOICE. FUTURE BUYERS MUST READ. Alright everyone just because I work in customer service and HATE angry customers this story is just too wild to pass up and I'm hoping to reach future buyers. As I posted a few months back I bought my Pontiac used at this dealership (2 hours north of where I live).. I loved my salesman and he did what I asked in order for me to purchase the car! Loved him! I then found some noises and went back north about 3 more times to get them fixed. After spending some time there like I anticipated they told me what was wrong and fixed my problem (to my knowledge) and gave me a gas gift card for any troubles. Well 3 months later ALL THE NOISES AND PROBLEMS WERE BACK. Okay no problem, I had spent $850 and figured I'd be able to take it back up get a loaner car and have them refix it. Well Ryan the manager of service said "It's hard to believe you've worn out our parts this quickly, and that you're just noticing problems 3 months later. Find a reliable mechanic because you don't know what you're talking about and neither does your shop." (Shaver Road Auto Service is extremely reliable and I love them so I know they weren't lying to me) Well 2 months later after having it looked at and everything I asked for a refund or to have a loaner vehicle and they can fix my car and Ryan the service manager referred to me as being "retarded" and said multiple times i don't know what I'm talking about and that the noises i was hearing are new and definitely not what they fixed and proceeded to HANG UP ON ME. Also reached out to his boss and no response. That was just too far and I took it to GM corporate. Corporate came back and had notes from Ryan and not only did he lie about what he said to me he put in there saying that I called him "mentally handicapped".. not that he called ME retarded also put it there that i had swore profusely and was uncooperative. Its so scary to know there are more customers getting scammed and lied to by their so called service "manager" when he lies right out of his teeth. They refused a refund and will no longer help me. GM offered me $100 service voucher to get repairs on my car and said i could only return to Sundance the original place I bought it to see if those were really the problems. Great and all but when I'm out $850 and a car that's not fixed why would I ever return to a place that referred to me in such a horrible manner, I'm pretty peeved with the bad business and WILL FOREVER share my story and hope to god they lose some business. Went in for oil change and scheduled maintenance. Service started on time and was completed within the time specified. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. First thing in the morning they had doughnuts and fresh coffee. When I went to the service counter to get my truck all service was complete and it had been washed. I do not see anything else they could have done to make the experience better. read more

If you want customer service do not waste your time at Sundance in St John's their service manager is a joke you have bumper to bumper warranty and your brake controller goes out that's built in the truck and there is a humming coming out of the left front tire at 29 miles an hour when descending for a split second it makes a weird humming noise eternally and all they did is reset the code on the brake controller and did nothing about the humming. Long story short my truck was there 6 days nothing done about problems i had to call them for a update.within 1 mile of leaving the store the humming was there and an hour later I hook up to a new trailer and the trailer brakes do not work he told me to go to bees Chevrolet and take my business there because I advertised my feelings and left him a negative review on Google.
