Best deli in Pleasantville and staple of life on Wheeler Avenue. Growing up, Sundance Deli catered every graduation event, party, and gathering. I'm glad to see time hasn't changed them. Among the sandwiches, I recommend the Bronx is Burning Sandwich (chicken cutlet, cherry peppers, onion, lettuce, tomato, mayo, salt & pepper). Fried chicken richness and spicy sweet from the cherry peppers. Among the paninis, the Russian Panini (chicken cutlet, bacon, melted muenster cheese, Russian dressing). Said another way, you won't go wrong with anything involving a Sundance Deli chicken cutlet. And outside the typical deli menu items, Sundance has perfected the art of the quesadilla. Prices are a bit expensive, but portions are massive. Food is consistently great and service is always expedient.

Barely any cream cheese..and they ask you two/three times about your order because they don't write it down and forget

    Pico wrap A+!!

Looking for a different kind of deli? Look no further - Sundance has a great menu and the food is delicious. Staff is very quick behind the counter and even when it is packed your in and out with plenty of time to eat before your lunch break is over. My favorite item is the pico wrap, packed with chicken, and guacamole then grilled on the outside. The only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is due to the high prices. Today a wrap, bag of chips and a drink came out to he over $15! Although I do not mind paying for quality I feel that 15 dollars a day for lunch is a bit steep. If your looking to treat yourself I would reccomend Sundance though, I've never had a bad experience here.

Glad to have found this gem during Covid! They have wraps / sandwiches, salads, empanadas, quesadillas and more. Even though the prices usually range from $10-14, the portions are great and always last me for a couple of meals. I've ordered from uber eats and stopped in in-person and haven't had any issues. I've tried the California Wrap, Green chicken panini, and the El Pariente and would recommend any of them.

Food is okay, not the freshest, service sucks, and overpriced. We got 3 sandwiches and it was almost $50!

This restaurant has been around for about…read moresix years, and I'll admit I had previously dismissed it because it's located in an outer strip of stores where Harmon and Bed Bath & Beyond once were. I truly wish I hadn't--because I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the décor, the service, and the extensive menu. There are so many dishes I want to come back and try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us with its vibrant, themed décor and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa and glasses of water were brought to our table immediately after we sat down, which was a great start. They have a full-service bar, and while they don't offer frozen cocktails, we honestly didn't miss them. I had a coconut margarita, and my husband enjoyed a passionfruit rum cocktail. He doesn't drink tequila, so I asked if rum could be substituted, and they were more than happy to accommodate. He chose a Tajín rim, while I opted for sugar instead of salt. Both drinks were strong, flavorful, and served in really nice, heavy margarita glasses. We both chose specials from the House Special Grill, and wow--what a great decision. My husband had the skirt steak and jumbo shrimp, served with a creamy corn salsa, and he loved every bite. I ordered the grilled steak with sautéed onions, homemade tortillas, cactus pad (nopales), rice, and beans. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We ended the night on a high note with dessert--one of the best flans I've ever had--paired with a glass of hot Mexican coffee. Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The food is top quality and service is excellent. the restaurant is also quite well decorated for such a miniscule place. The only caveat keeping this review from being five stars is the price. Mexican fare is known for being hearty, large portioned and affordable and having now patronized this establishment twice, I can say it is two of the three. The lofty price tag will unfortunately keep me from becoming a regular. Still, it is a nice treat once in a blue moon. Good show, overall. Fare: 5/5 Price: $$$

From the moment you walk in, the energy hits you. The festive front and large bar set the tone right away--it practically invites you to kick things off with a tequila and just enjoy the night. One of the highlights was the tableside Guacamole Al Molcajete. Freshly made right in front of us, and absolutely delicious. The chips were warm, colorful, and clearly made fresh--always a great sign. For the main course, we ordered shrimp fajitas, enchiladas rancheras, and chimichangas. The fajitas came sizzling with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, along with all the sides--guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, sour cream, yellow rice, refried beans, and flour tortillas. The shrimp had a nice char and great flavor. Everything was generous in portion--we ended up with more food than we could finish. Between the lively atmosphere, attentive, service, , flavorful food, and fun overall vibe, this place delivers more than just a meal--it's an experience. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

We were a party of 9, all anxious to experience the new changes. We were Delighted! We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant and our reserved table was ready. Melvin, our skilled waiter introduced himself and ensured we were all comfortable. Fresh, delectable, Salsa and Chips were generously placed at our table and proved to be the perfect accompaniment to the large, very tasty and refreshing original and strawberry margaritas we ordered. Roberto, Joselyn and Finn were most hospitable and periodically checked on us to ensure we were enjoying every offering. The Ceviche appetizer could have been a meal, plentiful with lots of shrimp, avocado, onions and peppers - Oh, So Delicious. In fact, the Best We Ever Had! Our table had a great variety of entrees which elicited lots of oohs and ahhs. The Seafood Crepes and Tres Amigos were two of the many standouts. Even the rice and beans were special - extra creamy and yummy! As delish as all the desserts looked, we didn't get to sample any because we were all invited for coffee and holiday treats back home. Just one of the reasons we Can't Wait To Go Back!

The bar in the front was busy but the dining room was pretty empty so we were able to choose our table. First thing that stood out to me was the cute vibes of the place. The art work on the walls and different backdrops- great for a photo session. We were given two paper menus and an iPad with photos of the food. That was pretty cool, especially for someone like me who likes to see photos of the food I'm eating before I even choose a restaurant. Service was fine and staff were friendly however the wait time for our food especially in an empty dining room took a while. Now, the food was AMAZING. We ordered Cuba Tabaco y Ron (Latino eggrolls) as an app - SO good. We got a Lomo Sushi Roll to share, which was tasty. I got the Roasted Pernil and my husband got the Honey Glazed Salmon. Both were delicious and filling. Would definitely check this place out if you enjoy Latin fusion food. It's such a cute and romantic place. I will say I got a headache from the red lights above us, I wish there would have been more clear lighting at the table but regardless this is a place to check out.
