Sam is terrific and friendly, and these guys make some mean (and reasonably) priced sandwiches! Sadly, I can only make it to visit these guys in the afternoon, and sometimes they close up even earlier than their stated 4pm closing time. They also shut the grill off around 1:30-2pm (presumably after the lunch rush) so nothing hot/cooked after that. If you can get here earlier than that, I highly recommend Dante's!

There's some serious weight behind this menu!

The food is ok but it could be better. Not my first choice though. It's more like my second choice.

Good deli with great breakfast sandwiches. I like the convenience of ordering by phone and going in to pick up my breakfast.

They seemed to have as much outdoor as indoor seating, sufficient parking in a mini-mall, location in a somewhat upscale neighborhood, a small bar area as you walk in with a TV, and clean bathrooms. Service was friendly and accomodating, and the bartender even stopped by, while my wife was in the ladies room, to fold her cloth napkin and place it back on the wooden table. There were limited, but sufficient dinner choices. My wife had mussells in an onion and white wine broth and she substituted a side salad (mostly lettuce) for the fried potatoes on the menu. With that, she had a glass of "sangria," which appeared to be a rosé wine without clumps of fruit. I had the seared cod served (a la mode) above a pile of 3 french fries, 3 green beans, and a child's handful of spinach. With that I had a glass of German reisling white wine. For dessert, we just had decaf cappuccinos. Both the food and drink were very good. The portions weren't very generous, but just enough.

My friend has been raving about this place for years, so I was excited to finally experience it for myself. I enjoyed a very large iced coffee and a gluten-free bagel with egg and cheese. The staff explained that the gluten free bagel was not made in house and would take a little extra time, which I appreciated. While waiting, I was honestly impressed by how smoothly everything ran. From bagels coming out of the oven to the sandwich assembly line, the team worked like a well oiled machine. Everything we saw looked delicious and what we had definitely lived up to the hype. We even came back before leaving town to bring home goodies because, as my friend says, the bagels just are not the same anywhere else!

There are lots of different types of customers coming in and out, which I think is always a good sign. I thought the bagels were very good, and I have never seen so many different types of spread, including a cookie monster cream cheese. They really slab on any kind of spread, so bring an extra container if you want to siphon off any of the spread for later. (This is what I wish I had done with the whitefish spread!) They're also are a lot of sweet pastries, which looked really appealing. It feels a teeny bit sterile, but I won't fault it for that. I suppose that also means it felt very clean and tidy.

The store is huge. Lots of parking in the lot. The store is clean with lots of great decor and Italian background paintings. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They have a great pizza shop, deli, salumeria, hot food buffet and many more great sections. Everything we tried was delicious. We bought from the pizza shop, deli and some fresh pasta and sauce. Though small inside, loved eating outdoors at the restaurant, also delivery carried well. Don't love that they ask for a tip on top of a moderately pricey counter service type place Soy Garlic Tenders The chicken was crunchy, crispy & juicy. Cooked to perfection. The sauce was good. For me, not quite on the level of bb.q Korean fried chicken. Still a good option for the area. Pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup Warmed my soul. It was perfect, the broth flavored and simple. The Ramen noodles added great texture. The dumplings were delicious and large bites. Pro tip, get a side of dumpling sauce to dip the dumplings in. The Chinese Broccoli in the dish had a delicious flavor all to itself. I'm not sure how they did it (because it was in the broth like everything else) but it was unique and special when eating the bok choi Pan Fried Pork Buns (Bao Buns) They were next level and a must get everytime. I'm not sure how else to describe them except delicious Original Chicken Sandwhich Good but not a must get for me. Good cook on the chicken and the bun seemed special but the flavors didn't really pack a punch.
