The absolute worst turkey on a roll with mayonnaise, tomatoes and onions ever! About tossed the entire sandwich out the window in the parking lot. What Deli puts purple onions on a sandwich? The bathrooms we clean multiple times a day. we are very busy so they do get messy that's why we have a sign up saying to inform management if there untidy. As far as the credit card fee there's a sign on the register stating if your under $10 you have the option to pay on credit with a .50cent fee. Having a minimum on credit cards is a industry standard. We also have a ATM on premise as another option. Both issues could have been resolved if you had spoken to management. read more

Today I had the "Lawsuit" sandwich. Nice bread, tasty chicken cutlets, lots of bacon and muenster cheese. Could have been a bit more cheese and less bacon, just a personal choice. Next time I'll ask for less Russian dressing. Small container of macaroni salad, it was okay didn't wow me. Nice touch was a free bottle of water. I'll be back and try something else. Its a real shame that this place has gone so far down hill cause froggy's use to be one of the best places around for sandwiches, pizza, wedges, soups, etc. Now, I've had items left out of my orders more then once, and a big mosquito in my pasta fragoli soup! I ordered a turkey sandwich cause I thought how could they mess this up. And they did. They care more about opening multiple locations than actually running one well. Best deli in Somers hands down. Great breakfast sandwiches, especially the Tusker, and they're pretty quick too. Good stuff for lunch and dinner as well plus they have pizza now as well. Really popular spot with Somers locals and it's easy to see why. I used to come here in high school and when I moved back home I was pleasantly surprised to see that they've only gotten better over the last 4-5 years. Very solid local deli right on Route 100. Great place for the working lunch brown bag needs- they'll make you a very good wedge, always have hot coffee, soda, chips, all the basics. Hot meals are also on the menu. Strictly take out, on the run sort of fare. I might be a curmudgeon but the only reason they don't get a 5 is because they take a tad too long- I used to work counter in the Cretaceous era, but I know that getting the folks in and out fast is part of the game. This quick little, once loved. sandwich deli has expanded to double its original size. Alas, the food is barely half of what it once was. I don't know if there's a new owner with very different tastes or a desperate need for cost cutting, but the food is definitely no longer worth the trip. Pizza was just terrible and that's the kindest thing I can say. A far too chewy dough barely topped with a thin sauce that had never been introduced to Italian spice. Or any spice for that matter, I think it had sausage on it but I couldn't be sure by the taste. I didn't complain because running a restaurant is a hard business and everyone has a bad night. But sandwiches were far worse. My wife ordered the eggplant sandwich, foolishly thinking it was still eggplant Parmesan as it had once been. Instead, it was a few thin slices of deep fried eggplant with a few drops of a flavorless red sauce. That's it. No peppers, no mozzarella, no provolone, no nothing except the rubbery taste of a definitely-not-Italian roll. I got the sausage because the Philly steak sandwich was no more. I think it was sausage, but only because that's what the check said. I couldn't tell by the taste. As I waited for my sandwiches, I watched the counter workers sweep crumbs and cheese off the counter and directly onto to the floor. I'm sure legions of mice were cheering. I saw dirty walls and tubs of leftover food without covers or refrigeration. Not only has this place gone downhill, the hill is very steep. What a shame that this once wonderful little roadside stop is no more. If you've never had the joy of a great sandwich or well made pizza, you make like it here despite the hygiene. The staff is rude, the prices are high, and the pizza is subpar. The speciality slices are creative but not impressive. Froggy's Deli has been around much longer than it's pizza counterpart, and has been a staple in the community for a while. Unfortunately, this establishment has gone down hill. The staff are abrasive (same people that work on the pizza side usually) and always have been, but I didn't really care because the sandwiches were great. The last few times I have gone my sandwich has either been served cold, with not what I asked for, or both. Sal's Pizzeria and Route 100 Market are much better options, avoid this place. read more

Super D versus Froggy's At 10 AM Super D had only 3 bagels, Froggy's always has more than 50 Side of bacon at Super D is 3 slices, Froggy's alway 5 or 6. The roll at Super D had no poppy seeds. At Froggy's it always has. Coffee at Froggy's has more of a choice of blends and also has French vanilla milk which is self serve. Not at Super D. They make it and it just doesn't come out perfect. Price at Super D was $2 less than Froggy's. But. Froggy's is the winner for me. John,, clean up the front door and do something with your small area to make it cleaner looking. read more
