I went in just to get a mystic spray tan. And before I knew it I was doing girl talk with Megan who's one of the managers and I signed up for a the spa package which for $50/mo I get all of the benefits and I can bring a guest with me to tan whenever I go. On top of it I got a bunch of amazing products. All of my needs got met and more. I got a bunch of new products, 5 out of 7 being complimentary. We discussed some of my personal skin issues and how to map with the products and tanning for my skin. I'm definitely addicted and can't wait to go back.

I've been tanning since the FIST day indoor salons began, unfortunately I can no longer do UV bed tanning. Luckily, spray tanning has finally landed people like myself (fish belly white), passing for natural without question. Sunday Blue Box is a chain, but each one is different if you look close! From Norfolk to Virginia Beach, I can honestly say, this location has the most amazing customer service. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

The first time I walked into Sunday's for tanning and spa services was 3 years ago.. the young ladies that work there were so friendly and knew exactly what they were talking about. Ms Megan helped me find not only a system of tanning that was perfect for the complexion of my skin and lotions that would best suit me but straight away offered me a tour and showed me each bed and spa service, what made each one unique and then went on to tell me of their great deals and packages. I was in awe from the start. 3 years later.. I am here at Sunday's still in awe as if It was the first visit! Since Reopening from the quarantine I've come back and they have upgraded tanning beds and even more exciting... new spa services and the All Access Package is where it's at!!! I have shopped around and you can't get a good tanning package with all the different level beds that they offer at Sunday's for under a $100 and with the All Access Package that I have upgraded to I get unlimited UV Luxury Tanning, Unlimited Spray Tanning and all 8 Spa Services each and every month with product discounts and the price is right for my personal package at around $58/month! They always have a great deal on their lotions and their clothing line and bags have become 90% of my wardrobe with all the cute selections they get in. I use all of their Youngevity products I can get my hands on with the fave of mine being the Electrofuel and Trim Sticks!! Anytime I want some "Mommy Down Time" or want to pamper myself I just head in to Sunday's!! They have 21 locations but I gotta say... the Hampton location is my all time favorite!! The young ladies that work at Sundays have become like family to me as they have to so many other customers and dare I say they are a light to the community with their beautiful smiles, welcoming personalities, knowledge, energy and eager helpfulness!! Thank you Sunday's for being the best part of a whole lot of my day's in the last three years!!! I will be a long time customer and look forward to getting to know the new faces I've seen there lately!! Here is a pic of my grand babies from yesterday in front of the Destination Level 6 bed!! My grandson just knew that's where Avatars go to sleep

Nice and tan thanks to Sundays!

Sundays is definitely my favorite place to tan. Only this location though. There are two closer to my house but I make the drive to the Holland road store. The girls here are genuine and don't force sell products down your throat. The girls at the other stores are plain rude and disrespectful. Prices have gone up quite a bit but definitely worth it

This place is no joke. Five sessions over a two week period and I was transformed from pasty white to tan.

There is an abundance of gym equipment, weights, space, etc. Surprised to also see so many bumper plates and squat racks! They even have a cinema room to watch something while you work out. The gym requires you to leave your bags in the locker room, normally I carry around some equipment in my bag to help with my workouts but I feel, you don't have to worry about not finding what you need. People seemed respectful of the gym and put things back where they belong. Not sure if it's always like this but I went on thanksgiving day. We used our family's guest pass to get in. We asked about day passes and they said $10/visit. Side notes: there was a children's play area for people who needs a babysitter while they get active. Saw multiple bathing suit dryers in the women's locker room, ample dressing stalls/bathrooms, showers, etc and super clean!

A little boy who was bigger than my daughter was allowed to tell her where to go and try to direct her against her will. The employee present did not correct the situation or ensure my child felt safe. As a parent, that was extremely unsettling. Staff should be paying attention and stepping in when one child is trying to control or push another child around. Allowing that kind of situation to continue without intervention creates an unsafe environment. On top of that, after I cancelled my subscription and informed them that I was cancelling, they still charged me for an additional month. Being billed after cancelling is unacceptable. Between the unsafe situation involving my child and being charged after cancelling, I cannot recommend this business. Parents should be cautious.

Cryotherapy is a pain treatment that uses a method of localized freezing temperatures to relieve irritated nerves and sooth sore muscles. It can also be used in cancer patients and in dermatology. My son who is a year around swimmer has used this business once for recovery of sore muscles prior to a meet. It's difficult to tell if one treatment is enough as several are recommended. The staff assisted me on getting required paperwork complete I needed to sign since my son is a minor. I was impressed with the amount of staff and the young gentleman assisting us on an iPad so we could sign electronically. My visit was on a Saturday morning and they were very busy. They offer coffee for their clients. The process is easy for a whole body treatment. Take off your clothing to underwear and leave socks on or they provide protection. They have gloves. Step in the tank and be prepared for nitrogen or in some cases argon gas to be turned on. Temperature can vary depending on height and body weight. My son had a freezing temp of negative 160° Fahrenheit. The machine has a range of around negative 150-200. Appointments are recommended and the treatment takes only minutes. They offer the largest menu of services in the area including IV, compression and anti aging LED therapy. Cyro prices range from $15 to $30 in the Hampton Roads area. The student price was $19. They offer memberships from $69 to $299. My son and I both felt this was the most professional and polished of the three he has tried.

I was specifically intrigued by their beer baths, and after researching the benefits, I decided to try one. I initially attempted to book online, but while the site mentioned a 50% deposit, it required 100% payment upfront, so I called to finalize the reservation. I used a 20% discount since it was my first-time booking. I decided to schedule the Brewing Calm Immersion, my session included 20 minutes in the sauna, a 60-minute massage, and a 60-minute soak. When I arrived, the owner greeted me and showed me my bath soak options: Hops Brew, Barley Blend, or Chai soak. I decided to try the hops brew which was a blend of hops, brewers yeast, malt, oats and Epsom salt. I also chose Eucalyptus, my favorite aromatherapy, for the diffuser used during my bath. After that I selected my drink from a selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, which was also served during my bath. After making all my selections, I was escorted to a private room where, I changed into the robe and slippers they provided. They also provide access to Lockers with keys for you to secure your valuables.   My Experience  Sauna- Before entering they gave me a cup of ice water. I love the fact that I had the ability to adjust the temperature and lighting. However I wished there was some music in the background because sitting in silence for 20 minutes felt very long. Massage- I found the massage relaxing; however, the Pressure was hit or miss and I also feel like certain areas were neglected like my feet and head. Beer bath/soak - My favorite part of the day.  They pre-steeped the brew so the ingredients were already activated. I was originally concerned that the bath water wasn't going to be warm enough but I had 100% control of the temperature. When you enter the room they already have music playing and I had the ability to change the genre if I wanted. They also provide you with 2 large ice cube for you to massage your face and cool you down if you get too hot. After they get you all set up they dim the lights which was the final step in setting the relaxing mood. The Soaking tub was huge and I was just sinking into it. Loved, loved, loved it! Overall I truly enjoyed my time spent & experience at Pint and Peace. I would absolutely recommend stopping in for a day of pampering and I am looking forward to returning for another soak. This was a great kick off to my birthday month of self-care.

If you are familiar with this part of Norfolk, you probably know that parking in this side of town can sometimes be challenge. There are about 4 parking spaces in front of the building or you can park across from it on the street. Booking was very simple and straight forward. Be prepared to pay for the service in it's entirety when booking. If you are booking as a couple, your guest will need to fill out the intake form in person because the online booking only allowed me to fill out one. Loved decor here. The Seafoam green gives it a nice touch and it matches their website. Super clean in here too. I had to use the restroom before we entered the sauna and I was very pleased with how neat and tidy it was We were directed to our room for the infared sauna. There are plenty of towels and robes for guests. I loved the sauna, it was really nice and relaxing for the both of us. The only thing that I didn't like was the little draft at the bottom of the door. This prevented the temperature from going up, but other than that, I felt amazing after. We will definitely be back.

Also the paint and decor made everything feel so inviting. I received the Standard Plus facial from Kailey back on July 3. It. was. everything. Kailey knows her stuff. Once I had changed and Kailey adjusted my headband I received a brief aromatherapy treatment. I've gotten plenty of facials before but this was the first time any aesthetician has ever done that. She placed the oil on her wrists and had me breathe deeply in and out before starting my service. It was the perfect touch because if you're like me, you're probably rushing to your appointments. My facial was amazing. This was my first service with Kailey but it won't be my last. She examined my skin before she began. I loved the fact that she answered all my questions and even gave my suggestions for different services to look into during the winter months. Extractions are always a love-hate experience for me but all of the congestion from my face was removed and my skin was so soft when I left. During the facial Kailey and I chatted about other treatments that would be great for my skin, how often I should be receiving facials, and my at-home routine. I'd also like to add that Kailey is a product wiz! When we were quarantined she helped me revamp my entire skin routine. I think we all dealt with maskne but I also believe my diet and stress caused my skin to go into panic or something. Kailey and I texted and talked over the phone about my skin and its needs. My whole regimen got a much-needed facelift and my skin is doing so much better. Anytime she recommends something for me (and no she doesn't sell products so no gimmicks there) I get it! Since then I have had minimal (and I mean minimal) breakouts and the texture of my skin has improved drastically. We're currently working on tone and hyperpigmentation and I'm excited to see those results. I'll be returning for another facial with Kailey at Get Well Soon the next time I'm back home. Check her out, your skin will thank you!

I did the "relaxed" massage with the Himalayan Stone upgrade. You would think that the Himalayan stones would be similar to a hot stone massage where they put them on your back. It was not. Upon entering the massage room, the masseuse takes the time to ask if there are any places to avoid or focus on. My masseuse was Stephanie. After getting onto the massage table, I can feel that there was warmth, which was relaxing, but not overwhelming. The massage table what state of the art. It was very comfortable, and the masseuse just the table to have a bend in the knees, and different positions instead of just laying down. Stephen applied the perfect amount of pressure during my massage. Back to the Himalayan stones- the warm stones she used in her hands which had salt on them, which she rubbed over the different areas of the body during the massage. Stephanie flawlessly transitioned from not having these stones in her hands to the stones not being in her hands. I definitely recommend getting spa services here.
