I came here for a long weekend stay and I have no major complaints! I'd say it's 4.5 stars, but I'll round up - all things considered. Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 11am, but guests are welcome to use the amenities on the same day as check-in and check-out. When we checked in, we were greeted, given a map of the property along with directions on how to get to our condo unit, and handed the resort wristbands (to be worn at all times to enjoy the amenities), keycards, a "charge card" to easily bill things to the room, and a parking permit. Staff was friendly. There's plenty of things to do on the resort that are included with your stay - pickleball, tennis, kayaking, paddle boarding, pool, hot tub, bike rentals, fitness center. Beach towels, chairs, and beach umbrellas are provided. There's also some poolside games like ping pong, foosball, a big connect four, volleyball, and cornhole. There's a Recreation Desk to handle equipment check in/check out and sign waivers. Spa and onsite dining are additional. We had a garden view, two bedroom/two bathroom residence. We were pleasantly surprised to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen was stocked with basic dishes, silverware, some pots and pans, and cooking utensils. There was a coffee pot, ironing board, safe in the master bedroom, and hair dryer in each bathroom. There was a big tv in the main area and in each bedroom. The main rooms also had ceiling fans. The A/C unit worked well (and we put it to work in this Florida heat). We also took advantage of the screened in patio area. (I'm glad it was screened... those no-see-um bugs are no joke! I'm still itching...) Each condo also included a complimentary shelling bag from Sundial Beach Resort, which you will need at the beach because the shelling here (in the Seashell Capital of the World) is awesome! They even have a seashell washing station near the main pool because shelling is a big deal here. We loved the quick access to the beach, and we were even able to spot the sunrise to the left of the shore each morning. Housekeeping was very thorough! They came everyday and I was just expecting them to change towels, take out the trash, and maybe refill bathroom toiletries, but they swept (much appreciated when sand gets everywhere) and tidied up the kitchen too. They also changed the sheets on the third day. The room has a QR code to scan to leave a tip via phone, but make sure you get their name to tip the individual directly (otherwise, don't forget to bring cash to tip the hardworking staff). My only notes would be that the shower water pressure was pretty weak in our unit and the only clock was on the microwave. Yes, clocks are pretty prevalent on phones and smartwatches these days, and sure, we're on "vacation time," but some of us are old-school. Speaking of the prevalence of phones, I'm a fan of their texting notifications. The property texted reminders leading up to the stay and sent over a schedule of events for each day. I wouldn't necessarily say that the events are anything to plan your day around, but it's a nice option if you're looking for something to do on the property. They had open pickleball play in the morning, a water balloon toss one day, and daily poolside bingo (with prizes - ice cream coupons or a drink at the tiki bar for the bingo winners). Poolside bingo was very popular. You can also use the text line to contact them with questions or special requests. I did use the text line and they were super helpful and responsive (responding within minutes). It wasn't quite concierge services - I asked a specific question about whether paddle boarding was open, and instead they provided a generic response to visit the recreation desk (I was hoping they would ask the recreation staff for me and relay the info). A note about the water sports, sometimes these activities are not available due to outside conditions. Even on a nice sunny day, the winds might be too strong and they'll put the boards away. Conditions can change throughout the day. They had a dry erase board displaying whether that activity was available. We were able to do paddle boarding one morning, and the rec staff helped bring out the boards and equipment, but then we were left to our own devices to drag the board into the water - there was no real briefing or beginner's tutorial. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing stay at Sundial Beach Resort. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our time in Sanibel. Special shoutout to Alba who helped us get squared away with our reservation. We had a very good stay here. Our only minor glitches were during the reservation experience prior to coming and at checkout. After getting conflicting prices and confusion regarding one of the packages on the hotel website, I wrote to the general manager. I was subsequently helped by Alba in the reservation center who reached out to me. Frankly, she saved the day. Our check-in with Christie at the front desk was lovely and seamless. Our room was ready so we were able to check in a tad early. Christie gave us our key cards, vouchers, wristbands and car placard and explained all the things we needed to know about our stay. Her pleasing personality made us feel welcome. Our room was in the D section on the 4th floor. The one-bedroom with balcony had a partial gulf view, king size bed, living room/dining room, and full kitchen. The bathroom was modern with a walk in shower. We purchased a package including breakfast. Each morning we headed to the Captains Catch in the main building. The buffet was very good. There was plenty options from which to choose. The omelet/ eggs to order station was a nice addition. The first night, we ate dinner in the Japanese restaurant at the hotel. You need reservations for the hibachi section, but not for their sushi bar/table area. It was very good. (See separate review). We also visited the pool and the hot tub one day. And enjoyed walking along the beach. As we are from Florida, we didn't sit out sunning nor use the rec facilities except one day we stopped by to get towels. We did play a couple games of bingo by the pool, but that's it, and we did have a drink at the tiki bar. Drinks were just okay. Checkout was not the easiest as mentioned above -- after I realized I'd been charged an incorrect amount. Jamie did not handle the situation well. Luckily, I'd saved Alba's contact info so I called her from the checkout/front desk. She verified the correct charges. And an adjustment/credit was made to my credit card billing. Bottom line, this would have been a five star review. And the facility itself deserves that. But after a lovey relaxing mini vacation for my husband's birthday, my treat, I once again had to deal with a glitch that I thought was already resolved. And that's now my last impression. read more

I went there with some friend with day pass. When I called to make a reservation, Amy was very friendly and helpful. We were so glad the weather turned out to be beautiful and we had a great time at the pool and shelling at the beach. We ate and had some drinks at Turtle's Tiki Bar. Prices are not bad given a pool side resort environment. The menu was not big but you will be able to find something you like. They even have vegan burger. read more

We got day passes and enjoyed our time at the beach and at the pool. They set up beach chairs each day and it was very relaxing to sit in the beach and read. Everything was very and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive. With our day passes we got $60 in dining credits and enjoyed a burger and fish tacos from the bar. They have lots of planned activities throughout the day- perfect for kids. We had our daycation passes and finally were able to use them today. The 1st day of January 2025. What a crowded place. With the people who are staying there for vacations along with locals using their daycation passes it wasn't very relaxing. Having to fight for a chair to sit or fighting for a chair at the Turtle Tiki Bar/restaurant was unbelievable. A very generous man from Michigan offered us two of his chairs Once we got chairs I had a woman who kept telling me that her husband was going to need my chair. I got tired of that so when my hubby and I decided to leave we saw a couple of ladies waiting for chairs so we gave them ours. We did enjoy sharing their beach burger meal with a couple of cokes . The main area front desk etc was unmanned and people were lost trying to find someone to help them. Overall some of the guests were very rude. The staff were kind but were very difficult to find. Great experience at the Sundial for the Daycation Pass. We paid just $100 for two of us and received $60 in food/drinks credits. Very good activities for adults and families: tie-dye shirts, bingo, pool activity, volleyball, etc. Lunch was delicious and a great variety of drinks. The pool was a perfect temperature. Make sure you bring towels - the only bad thing is that they charge $15 per towel. Definitely don't want to do that. You can bring a water bottle and get yourself refills at the water station. We've visited Sanibel island twice now. We stayed at Point Santo last time, in 2018. This year, over July 4th week in 2022, we stayed at Sundial. I prefer Sundial; it has a lot going for it. It was reasonably priced, and I hear it's the largest resort on Sanibel Island. The restaurants were great, and we spent a ton of time on the beach. The resort is nicely maintained, and you could tell they put a lot of effort into maintenance and general upkeep. However, there are a few downsides. Sundial is starting to show its age. The rooms lack electrical outlets, and it definitely feels very 1970's-ish at times. Oh, and the ... bathroom. Oh man. The bathroom in our main bedroom was EXTREMELY small - out of proportion small compared to the overall generous size of our condo. I could barely fit inside, let alone change clothes or shower. I halfway expected Superman to come bursting out of this 'phone booth' bathroom with an "S" on his chest. But, like me, Clark would also have to turn completely sideways to fit his shoulders through the doorway of this latrine. The micro bathroom is also hotter than the sunny side of the planet Mercury, with no air conditioning or ventilation of any kind. If you have any extended .. business .. in there, be sure to let a family member know to check on you every 15 minutes, lest you stroke-out from the heat and lack of oxygen. The views were gorgeous, the staff was friendly and very accommodating, and the night was wonderful. I hope to come back when I can actually get a room! This a lovely location, I understand since hurricane Ian, there has beena lot of work being done to restore the Island of Sanibel. One huge problem noone is talking about is the change to the echo system of the island. Place is overrun with noseums and othe flying pest. This made our stay a nightmare due to soo many bites. The hotel needed to instal insect zappers in the rooms to reduce the pest. Also the cleanliness of the floors was really bad. My socks were black and filthy dirty. This shows how poorly the floors are mopped or they are using dirty mops. Beach resorts need to be kept very clean especially due to the bugs and foot traffic in these rooms. Also noticed some of the of the kitchen wear that was provided was not very clean. I had to wash myself before using. We needed to check out early due to the bugs and the resort would not return any of our money. I understand they have policies but having guest eaten and bitten by these bugs should have given us some compensation. Bottom line is the island has lost its charm becuase of the destruction of the echo sytem by salt water and the loss of a lot of the better resturaunts. The cute shops that I remember are gone and only a few remain. The bugs are destroying anytime we spent outside and hotels need to do a better job of making sure the rooms have a way of dealing with these pest. It cost a lot of money to stay on Sanibel. Sadly we will not be returning anytime soon. It will take years for the bugs to calm down and for these businesses to be what they once were. But with the refusal to address climate change by the people of this state supporting this ignorance by their vote, they will help destroy what is left of any vacation spots. It is about 3.5 stars for this resort. We have the Florida Residence discount during our weekend stay. The full price is a bit expensive including the resort fees. This is a inclusive resort. It has bicycle, kayaking, paddle board, umbrella and chairs and more. One thing for sure they can help on pleasant stay is to load and unload the equipment to the sea. Their kayak is heavy to move. They are not light weight. Tower is available on the counter. The room and compound is nice. We have a one bedroom suite. The room has tv, kitchen, sofa bed and more. Room is clean to our knowledge. Our room includes the breakfast. We took the kayak to the sea and see a lot of fish. The also have bike for the 26 mike bike path in the island. There are several tennis court with world class clay court. There are several swimming pool in the compound. The beach access is nice with wash down the sand. We looked at a few different resorts for our dream wedding and vacation venue for May 2022. The Sundial's well-manicured landscaping and resort amenities stood out to us right away. We had a wonderful time on our weddingcation making memories with our families in paradise. The Sundial has a salon and spa that we used for bridal party hair and makeup. Everyone was so wonderful and we loved how our looks turned out. It was very convenient not to have to drive somewhere else to get those cosmetic services done on the big day. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised on how smoothly our big day went as far as timeline and the overall atmosphere of the event. We wanted a small intimate wedding in paradise with our closest family members and we felt very satisfied. The weather was beautiful and the Florida plants and ocean added an unmistakable charm to the event. The resort staff was very attentive and helped everything go smoothly, the tear down process at the end seemed to happen in a flash they made it so easy!! They even drove my new husband and I back to our room in a golf cart so we wouldn't have to walk after our reception. The resort had a few memorable amenities like free bike and beach towel rentals. The biggest plus for me was the beach chairs they set out every day, it's so nice not to have to lug your own chair back and forth!!! Highly recommend the Turtle Tiki bar, the drinks were strong and the nachos made a perfect afternoon beach snack. We stayed in a recently renovated room and it was a great experience. Everything was very clean and we loved the view of the ocean. Our bathrooms had light-up mirrors that were really neat. The elevators in every building were also a nice touch for a relatives that have trouble climbing up the stairs. Wow...where to begin. We stayed at Sundial resort the last week of August and had an incredible experience all around. The pool was clean, large, and had a great poolside service. You can rent paddle-boards for FREE and kayaks which was the highlight of our trip to Sanibel Island. The rooms were HUGE and bigger than some apartments. They had a full kitchen, patio, living room, two bathrooms, and more. The view was incredible and the beach was unlike anything I've ever seen. They also work closely with Sanibel Golf Carts which was a great experience and easy process to get around the island. We had a facial one day and the spa was clean, the facial was incredible (have I said incredible enough lol it was just THAT good), and the staff was so kind. We also took advantage of the breakfast in the morning that had the best cheddar scalloped potatoes I've had in a long time and the view overlooked the pool out to the ocean. We also had dinner at Shima and the staff was great, food was tasty, and it was overall a great time. We flew in from California and can't wait to plan our next vacation at Sundial. I stayed here for two nights with my family and we had an awesome time. The front desk woman who checked us in was lovely and very helpful. Their covid protocols were great, all staff wore masks and food service wore gloves as well. Our room was HUGE. We had everything we needed, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, towels whenever we asked, toiletries, access to bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. There were multiple pools and just a couple steps away from the beach. On the beach we saw dolphins twice, lots of shells and starfish. The bartenders were very helpful and fast. We also ate down at the bar a couple times and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend the jerk chicken sandwich and sundial burger. The hotel shop had everything we would need so we barely left the resort and they don't price gouge like other resort shops. The one thing I would recommend bringing(I'm sure they have it, but I didn't ask) is bug spray. I did get bit by some sand fleas, but it's totally understandable since we were on the beach at night time. This place is great to stay with your family and getaway. read more

I think this is the best resort on the whole Sanibel Island. It is beach side and has so many activities for the people staying there or just visiting from outside( we visited it for couple drinks and beach side activities). They have a pretty cool pool with small private cabanas where you can sit and enjoy the time. They offer a lot of amenities to their customers including: -Jacuzzi -Full Service Spa & Hair Salon -Cabanas -Beach Chairs, Towels, and Beach Umbrellas -Onsite Bicycles, Kayaks and Paddleboards -Water Sports Options -HydroGrid Tennis Courts -Beach Volleyball Court -Five heated Swimming Pools They have a pretty big restaurant and we loved the bar outside. Sanibel is one of my VERY Favorite Places in Continental US ... Why ... well it's gorgeous, love the wildlife and sea life .. LOTS of shells .. Great seafood and great restaurants. The beaches are quiet .. mostly because finding parking is an issue .. if you aren't staying somewhere likely have to pay for parking or get a ticket. Sundial is a good place to stay .. it's sorta like condo's .. you have a living room and chair on screened in balcony. You have access to laundry facility and decent pool. the only problem is not pet friendly and we often travel with our dog .. the beach is dog friendly but only a few hotels accept dogs. read more

Just stayed here for a week with my family...our room had full gulf view but we were the furthest from the main pool so it was a bit of a hike. This caused us to order more food at the pool than we planned because going back and forth was too much. The food and drinks at the pool were all amazing. The servers work very hard. The paddle boards were a blast as well as the kayaks. We rode bikes everyday which was so fun. The island is completely flat so biking with small kids is easy. Pool side bingo was a huge hit for my kids (and myself). The only reasons I did 4 stars and not 5 was because the beds were very uncomfortable, our room was extremely far from the pool and the price to stay here is extremely high. Frozen drinks were fantastic and the bartenders were very friendly. Really enjoyed people watching at the walk up bar. Guest didn't really wear mask or social distance. It's a 3 star hotel on the beach. Rooms are the size of a small 1 bedroom condo. Outdated but kept up pretty good. Old tv's static service can't watch tv without service outages. Good for families and those who like a kitchen. Staff is friendly Felt like an apartment condo complex and less than a resort. Looking out your window to partial beach and a parking lot. Grilling area in the concrete parking lot As Well. Nothing is wrong with this hotel. It has a restaurant, beach , spacious room. But def not a 4-5 star place. If you are looking for a bell person to help with luggage. Room service More of a tropical feel on an island this is not it. This was my first stay at Sundial and everything has exceeded my expectations! My 2 bedroom is clean, spacious, modern.. the staff is helpful and friendly.. Bailys General Store has everything you may have forgotten and is the most amazing little shop located within a resort that I have ever been to. There is constant cleaning and maintenance on the property like paint touch up and cleaning of the grounds yet you don't notice because of the efficiency. I have stayed at South Seas Island Resort in Captiva but must say that Sundial takes the cake. It is also a very fun and safe resort. My 14 year old and his friend haven't asked ONCE to leave the resort because they have been having such a wonderful time with activities and swimming that I have barely even seen them! There is no "damp" smell to the rooms as I had expected from past experiences at oceanfront locations in Florida (Sanibel Inn in Sanibel.. ) and the resort is filled with families having a great time! The rooms are pretty noise proof and the beds are SO comfortable. The bathroom has soft closing drawers, I have my own washer and dryer in room, and the kitchen is well stocked and actually has nonstick pans too! Sundial can be compared to my past experiences at Iberostar resorts and I highly recommend. There are no details spared at Sundial. I look forward to returning and I haven't left yet! read more

Very disappointed. Rooms are outdated. Our oven did not work in the "kitchen". Kitchen sink did not turn on. We had to use bathroom sink water to drink and make coffee. Gross. No coffee in the resort lobby. Really?! Especially when paying 700$ a night. This place is very understaffed. The poolside bar and restaurant closed before stated closing times. On a lighter note, the hard working restaurant host and servers were very kind and attentive. Grace at the front desk was kind and helpful, whereas management was NOT. The pool and beach were nice but please spend your hard earned money elsewhere! read more

I really could not have asked for a better vacation experience. From the time I booked my stay 2 weeks before arrival, Andréa in reservations was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I was able to get a 3 night package for a great price for this time of year and especially accommodating when I extended my stay one extra night. My room itself was more than a room - it was a 1 BR apt with a very nice and cozy bedroom and some high quality finishes. It felt just like home. The recreation staff was super helpful getting me a bike and towels every morning, and bingo on the deck at 3:30 (with a chance I win a free drink) was fun and entertaining. My favorite part of the trip was the saltwater pool away from the main area. Ideally placed right along the ocean but surrounded by beautiful plants and palm trees, I spent most of my time there. It was warm, relaxing, and beautiful. The bikes are great for getting around the island - I didn't bring a car, so I was able to go out in the mornings and afternoons for as long as I wanted. The tiki bar drinks were good and strong. I didn't eat at any of the resort restaurants due to being dairy-free and seeing so few side item options that didn't contain butter (they didn't offer to prepare them differently,) but I found good breakfast only a 10-15 min bike ride away. The Japanese place is closed Sunday and Monday which further limited my options, but I ordered delivery for dinner, again because I didn't have a car. The on-site market has most of what you're looking for in terms of snacks, drinks, toiletries, and many gluten and dairy free options, all at a very reasonable price (I've paid a lot more in Philadelphia for the same things.) The bartenders and managerial staff is great too, but I didn't find the front desk to be too helpful or too friendly anytime I visited or called. I think that and the restaurant food options are the only thing I would change. Highly recommend! read more

We stayed with my cousin for 2 nights. The room was incredible. Super clean and big. The staff was super friendly and always eager to help. The only thing that I would change is the lunch/dinner menu options. We had an awesome experience with the breakfast (tons of options and tasty food). Yet, during lunch and dinner at the Sea Breeze there were not enough options and the food was not tasty (it wasn't horrible but it was okay). What we really enjoyed was the chocolate cake... a MUST! Do not stay here. False advertising, old, dusty and rooms are picturesque of a Golden Girls episode. Completely overpriced for what is offered. It should not be labeled as a "resort." I am white and my husband is black and we were treated terribly during our stay. He was so uncomfortable that we contemplated driving to Miami but after spending $2000 for a weekend we had to suck it up and stay here. Sure the beach is right there but it is not enough to save this place. Resort shuts down around 7-8 pm- you can't even find a bottle of water after that time. Driving to CVS or 7/11 turned into a regular outing. Sanibel, unbeknownst to us is predominantly white, the restaurants we visited seemed less than inclined to cater to a biracial couple and it was very much felt by my husband and I. Never again. We rented a unit there 404. They're are 2 bathrooms the one my 83 year old father in law stayed in did not have any grippers on tub and the ready to use shampoo holder was leaking and he fell didn't get hurt too bad some bruised ribs and a huge gash down his back from the tub spout see attached photo. We checked out next day and told the front desk with no reaction. He's a tough old guy but he's 83 and was upset till he got home. He was lucky he didn't break anything. We are locals and attempted to go to the Sundial for lunch after a morning on the beach . We have done this many times . We were challenged in the parking lot by security who told us we could not use the beach facilities . We made it clear we did not NEED or want the facilities only lunch. We are locals and have parking , beach access , chairs with etc. He persisted in an unwelcoming manner . We left . Brought to the General Managers attention but he could not be bothered . Towels in your room? Bring your own if you want them. The best description of this place is someone's poor copy of a great resort. Everything needed for (the brochure describing) a great resort is there, but implementation isn't quite there. It is on the ocean, nice property, could be great. It is priced as though it is a great resort (watch the resort fee), but don't expect a lot and you'll love it. No room service to replace coffee in the room, but free coffee in the lobby. At $200 a night, this place is a steal. At $400, try harder. This is east-facing, so don't expect a sunset. The burgers and pizza are 5 star, avoid the sushi. 4 star, but the lack of towels or ability to even get any (we started with 2 towels for 3 nights, 2 adults, 2 kids) after asking/begging for 2 more over 3 days... wife said 3 stars. read more

So to start off, we were so excited to visit Florida. We usually go to the Caribbean yearly but because of covid restrictions, we chose this resort. As soon as I walked in our room I noticed it was just okay. Nothing special. They did fulfill my requests for a room with a washer and dryer and upgraded (for the most part).the beds were terrible, the pillows were terrible, the floors were so dirty our feet were legitimately black from the layers of dirt and was never cleaned from the floor. Sand/dirt are two different things. They had to come 3 separate times to clean the floors and they still were not cleaned properly. I said screw it and we just wore shoes or socks while indoors. The couches were pretty work down, and windows were not cleaned either. Garbage all over in the pool and around it. I asked the towel girl if someone is suppose to pick it up and she shrugged and said "yea." Pool area was normal run of the mill, nothing special. The cabanas were all rented all week (which we didn't know you could do, that info wasn't provided during check in). Our dishwasher was broken and not working the entire stay, despite numerous calls to the front desk. I was just told, we have done a report, someone will be out there tomorrow. But that tomorrow lasted until we left. We found sugar ants in the kitchen coming out of the wall. Someone had to come spray. The second to last night a huge 2.5 inch cockroach ran across our floor! At this point this place is far from paradise and as far as I'm concerned the island is a waste of money. This place was not the paradise we are used to in the Dominican Republic. one star on cleanliness, prompt on fixing issues, upkeep of property and information for our stay. If you take the palm trees away from this island, you'd be disappointed. People are rude, food is all a la cart, and it's pretty outdated. Do research and find another place to go. Shelling was the best part of the trip. We won't be back. read more

Dirty floors, tv hanging off the mounts, and COCKROACHES! My 3 yr old daughter had a large bug crawling over her as she was laying down, this obviously terrified her. I removed the bug and went to the front desk to inform them of what happened. When I returned to tell my wife about what occurred, I found another large cockroach in the bedroom. I informed the front desk of this as well and asked that someone follow up with me in the morning, as it was almost midnight. At no point did anyone ever contact us to follow up. When I did approach the front desk again, the manager was extremely dismissive and appeared frustrated that she had to speak with me. I informed her that we would be leaving for the day so they could inspect the room and follow up later. The manager did not attempt to find any real resolution beyond the breakfast buffet. After we returned 6+ hours later, an exterminator knocked on the door and asked to come in a spray for bugs. This of course reminded the kids of what happened the previous night and made them worry even more. Once again, nobody came to our room to follow up, call us, or make ANY attempt to communicate. The manager I spoke with walked directly past us and didn't say a word. I don't really know what else to say about how frustrating it is to know the person across the counter has no compassion or desire to help you; especially when you have a wife and two girls, terrified to sleep in the room. Truly disappointed at what was an attempt to provide my family with the relaxing break they deserved. read more

For our first stay on Sanibel we had a great experience staying at The Sundial. Booked thru Travelocity based on availability and looking at other reviews and were not disappointed. We had a 1 bedroom room which was very spacious for the 2 of us, had a screened in balcony, but unfortunately because of our late booking did not have views of the beach. We were in building H. There are several pools all very warm and have plenty of chairs, even though they told us the resort was fully booked it did not feel crowded. The main pool had a variety of activities and the staff was very friendly. There is also plenty of sun and shade to be had. The pizza was so-so, but there is a market in the property and you can grab snacks there and bring over to the pool. We even enjoyed a beer in the rockers in the shade right in front of the market. The Sundial also offers guests use of bikes, go grab one in the AM and keep it all day. Ride for fun or take it to lunch, they will give you a lock. There are bike paths across the entire island and everyone has a rack. The pool area also has cabanas which there is a charge for, if you want one reserve as soon as you arrive or maybe call ahead? The location on the beach was perfect, despite the reviews on line we found better shells in front of the resort than at Bowman's Beach or Lighthouse Park. Again, great stay, friendly people, will go again !! Just make sure to head out for dinner early, several places close between 8-9 PM, at least in April, not sure if different in the summer. read more
