Adorable little lunch spot. The owner is just sweet as can be. Only two small tables inside. Perfect place to grab and go, too. Hot / Cold Sandwiches, soups, salads, and combos available. Breakfast also served in the morning.

Fresh, delicious sandwiches and kind, pleasant service. I recommend a cold turkey sandwich with everything, plus avocado, on a croissant.

Their sandwiches are excellent and the chips that that come along with the sandwiches make the perfect pair. I'm typically in town (thus the Uber Eats) and after a heavy workout I was craving something healthy-ish. So I made the trek to Hawaii Kai to finally visit in person. I got a little lost in the parking lot, but after a quick phone call they were kind enough to point me in the right direction (pro tip: nearest shop is Panda Express). It's down a little hallway near the pavilion. I would never know this because I rarely come to Hawaii Kai. Fast forward to ordering my food; they are fast. The assembly line is on point. And the eating area has a gorgeous view that's perfect for a lunch date or a girly fab sesh. Sandwiches as just as good as I remember and the cold brew kept me productive on my day off.

One of my coworkers was wanting a sandwich with sprouts so I recommended Mala Market. Sandwiches are fresh and tasty, lots of veggies, and yummy bread. You can choose a side of chips or salad. The salad comes with a cilantro dressing, but I like the salad with the pink goddess dressing, which you can order on the side for a small charge. We ordered online so when I got there, our order was ready to go, and service was quick and friendly. It's near the harbor at Hawaii Kai Towne Centre so if you're especially sensitive to those smells, be mindful of that. Lots of outdoor seating at the mall to enjoy your meal!

About 10 minutes before my 2:00 PM pickup time, I received a text letting me know my order was ready, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the IL Parma sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. At $24, it's definitely on the expensive side for a sandwich, but the quality of the ingredients and the freshness made it worth every penny. The flavors were fantastic, and I didn't mind paying the premium price after taking that first bite. Parking can be a little tricky. I'm not sure whether customers are allowed to use the Hana Koa parking lot for quick pickups, but a kind employee allowed me to park there while I ran in to grab my order. There are only a few parking spaces directly in front of Bocconcino, so that's something to keep in mind. There's some tables under a covered area, right next to the store. Many people were seated there talking story and enjoying drinks. Overall, a great experience and an excellent sandwich. I'll definitely be back for another Italian sandwich!

We were staying close by and made our way over for lunch, it wasn't ridiculously crowded which was a plus. I made my way around the store window shopping and they have some great pasta and wine choices. They have a nice selection of pizza and sandwiches to choose from and anything in the deli is available by the slice. We ordered the Parma and while we waited we managed to score a seat outside at the table. Once our sandwich was ready we got a text message to let us know. The sandwich was delicious, the bread was so fresh along with the meat and cheese. The pesto spread was a perfect compliment as well. Overall it was so worth it and when we are back on island I will definitely return. If you live here make this one of your go to places and if your staying in town get over there for lunch.

The service has been very friendly 2 of the 3 times I've been. Sure, the sandwiches take a little while to make, but I appreciate that they take their time with it and my sandwich is well stacked rather than slapped together. The first time I was there I was encouraged to try the pig and pickle when I was unsure between that and the pastrami. While I'm sure to try the pastrami sometime soon, so far I have chosen to satisfy my craving for the juicy and absolutely delicious pig & pickle. And I like their fresh and semi-dense sourdough; anything lighter would be a soggy mess with all that meaty juicy goodness piled on it! Give me fabulous food by friendly people and a picnic table on grass to enjoy it at - done deal - return customer again and again now that I've learned of this spot. Oh! Their lemonade, strawberry and lilikoi lemonades? Worth it. On a rainy day, the lemonade brought a bit of sunshine into my life and a smile to my face. And on sunny days it is refreshing. Thanks for that! The only problem is I went with friends the first 2 times and I didn't speak much during our lunch together as I was entranced with my sandwich. Oops!

I also thought the prices for sandwiches, which each come with a pickle slice and a bag of chips, were really fair. However, my wait ordering in person took quite a while, about 25 minutes for 3 sandwiches, which surprised me. For my sandwich specifically, the Smokey Pastrami on Sourdough bread, I found the meat a bit chewier than I expected, and was bummed that my bread wasn't toasted. I think toasting the bread could have changed the game for me, but it was still a good sandwich overall. For the other 2 sandwiches, my friends got a Pork n' Pickles and a BLAT. We all really enjoyed this place's pickles. My friends had no complaints with their sandwiches. We also all got a lemonade, 2 regulars and 1 strawberry, which were great! I wanted it to be a bit more tart, as they were on the milder/watered down side, but still hit the spot on a hot day, and the strawberry flavored one was def our favorite. Again, at $5 a lemonade, it felt like a good price for being in a food truck area with many tourists.

This deli is located in a strip mall and is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. On one side they have the ordering area with a beverage cooler, a display case, and hats for sale with their logo. The other side has seating and can probably fit around 30 to 40 people. For lunch on this day I went with the chicken pesto panini while my father went with a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut. The menu described my sandwich as chicken breast, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, provolone, and pesto spread, and my father's simply as sauerkraut and mustard. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my sandwich and my dad enjoyed his hot dog, so I would be interested in trying more of the menu.
