This was the first time we used Sun Dries Tomato Catering. We hired them to cater our nieces bridal shower who wanted an Italian dinner for 60 women. From the moment I called, Abby was so helpful in creating a menu for the shower. We had the shower yesterday. We hired them for catering the event with full service which included 1 bartender, 1 chef and 2 servers. The food was amazing and the staff were amazing. So very attentive and kind to all of our guests. Everyone who attended could not stop raving about how amazing the grazing table was and the Italian dinner which included 2 pastas 2 different salads butter and bread etc. The service was exceptional as the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. Sundried Tomato was our wedding caterer at Casa Romantica. Patti assisted us with our tasting and creating our menu. We loved the food! The catering staff were kind to all our guests and made sure to even bring the hors d'oeuvres to guests during family photos. The bar service was also top notch. My husband and I were greeted by the catering staff with a toast of Champaign. The bar always had a supply of water available to guests. Our wedding food was delicious and we had no idea one of the rented ovens was not working. Somehow Sundried Tomato Catering still made everything happen flawlessly. We also decided to add a Champaign toast to dinner and they continued to serve Champaign to guests throughout the entire dinner. I had time to get myself ready and when I came down, everything was perfect! They tray passed the most delicious food all day and kept all beverage glasses full. Sundried just recently catered our Aug. 7th, 2015 wedding in San Juan Capistrano. We worked with Patti the catering manager. From the very start her warm and fun personality shown through her emails and after sitting down with her to taste the food we felt like long time friends. Sundried cares so much for the quality and presentation of their food. Before going with Sundried we were in contact with another catering company that provides a large package with more "inclusive" items. After having tasting with both there was no doubt in our minds that Sundried not only cared for their food but the quality of service they are providing to their costumer. Food matters to this company, not all the glitzy little add on items other companies may try to ploy you with. Their passion is food and it shows in their product. Sundried was extremely flexible and helpful. Any change we made Patti happily tailored our menu and even suggested things we may have overlooked. She happily set up an option to feed our bridal party at our nearby hotel before the wedding as well. I can not say enough wonderful things about the experience we had working with this company! I had 5 days to plan a celebration of life for my dad for 250 people. I have worked in catering for many years in the past so I knew basically what I wanted. I called several venues on Sunday and Patti was the first one to call me back. I went to look at the location and it was just perfect. Someone had recently released the date they have been holding for the past year, it was just meant to be. Patti and I went over the menu, drinks etc. I was given the recommendation sheet for vendors and started booking them from their office. They made it so easy. We just held an annual dinner party for 26 guests, and it was our first time we worked with Sundried Tomato Catering. I had read great reviews on Yelp, and all of them were right on target. From the first phone conversation, to deciding on the menu, to follow up everything was handled beyond our expectations. We decided to have a person come to help with the set up/serving/clean up and we were lucky to get Paige who was extremely helpful and so positive and kind. Wonderful job!! Sundried Tomato just catered a party for 45 at my home for my Mother's 90th Birthday and the whole process was so easy and the results so perfect. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful. My guests all wanted to know who our caterer was so they could use them too. Lisa was our coordinator. She helped me plan the menu choices and how much of each I'd need for the number of guests, including children's menu items and choices for special diet guests. She was so nice to work with, easy to get in touch with, rolled with a few changes and is a true professional. The crew that came for the party was a delight. We had Paige in charge as our server.
