We are thrilled with our new solar panels! We never thought it made sense to invest in them, but after Erik explained net metering, the Sunergy program, and all the other advantages, we saw no reason not to do it. We're saving money on our electric bill, being environmentally friendly, and I think the panels look progressive and high-tech on the roof. Several neighbors have contracted Sunergy for installation too! Erik and Sunergy were very helpful throughout the entire process - start to finish and even following up after completion. They also handled all the paperwork with Edison. I'm so happy we switched to solar!

Don't get fooled by all the 5 stars reviews like me. Sunergy pay or used to pay $50 for all the 5 stars reviews. Here is my honest review. Everything from A-Z is was wrong and disappointing. At this point after my final inspection (failed) I'd give them 0 stars. I found Sunergy on Yelp and they were the first company on my list based on their reviews. Erik the sales rep was nice and explained everything, after that I started calling around for price shopping. I got quotes from many companies but Sunergy beat them all. I negotiated better Panasonic 330 Watts panels with the latest SolarEdge HD Wave converter backed with 25 years warranty on labor and equipment. Signed papers and after that everything went wrong. - I had two large vents on my roof which needed to be changed out for flat ones. Originally I was quoted couple hundred bucks but end up paying $400. I just went with it knowing that I still have a good deal... - the plan submitted to the city was wrong. Electric switches were on the other side of the house also show the cheaper Hanwha panels were showing on the plan. (They eventually changed it) - they wanted to install the panels before the HOA approval. My HOA would make me take off everything without their approval. Erik fixed this issue however pushed back the installation by a week... - the day of the installation. The installation crew confirmed that the pan is wrong and they have to rearrange the panels on the back of the house also I went out to check on the Solar Panels right before the installation and guess what they were not the Panasonic 330s they were about to install the much cheaper Hanwha panels. Apparently the installation crew had no idea about the whole situation and they almost put up the wrong panels. That was the point when I started to be furious. I called Erik, he apologized for everything he said his boss going to call me on the next day. I ended up talking to his boss and he gave me $200 off of the final price he also ensured me that nothing else will go wrong beyond this point. Another 5 days delay because they have to buy the Panasonic Panels. - the inspection happened two weeks after the installation instead of couple of days. The inspector supposed paint the conductors to match the house color(required by the HOA). He did a horrible job like he gave absolutely 0 effort. Paint all over the converter, part of the conductor is not painted he also forget to screw back the long screws on the panel... also we didn't pass the inspection due to a equipment recall.... I called Erik again he apologized and he said he's going to send someone else tomorrow to fix the other guy's paint job.. Here I'm, I really don't wanted to leave any reviews for them but at this point everybody deserves to know who are they dealing with. You have to pretty much micromanage the whole process... I'm still not done with the paint job fix, the inspection and the switch over by Edison. Probably I have to hire a third party company as well for a re-inspection... Well. You got what you pay for... Update. 05/17/18. The fist technician came out last week to fix the recall 05/08/18 Today another technician came out to fix it again.... I supposed to have another inspection sometimes next week and after that hopefully a week or two I can have switched by Edison. (So that is another 3-4 weeks delay.)I'm already paying for the finance company for something I can't even use. Absolute ridiculous.... Oh, and the paint situation never been fixed my converter and antenna still the same.

They are supposed to give us an estimate of the cost. We have been waiting for them to give us the estimate and come and fix this issue for about three months. We have left voicemail after voicemail after voicemail and they have never called us back. This is totally unacceptable, to say the least. We are very disappointed with their complete lack of customer service. ----------------- With the ever-increasing electricity bills from Southern California Edison, we decided to go solar. Upon the recommendation of a good friend, we contacted SunPower by Green Convergence. These folks were amazing right from the start. Their rep came out and spoke with us, and then sent a drone over our roof to scope everything out. We then had a conference call and learned the costs and decided to get, not only the solar, but a battery backup as well, so that when the power goes out, we will be able to keep our essential appliances working. Installation was quick; all the people who did the work, from the panel installers to the electricians, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. After the necessary inspections, we went online about a week ago. We couldn't be happier. Jackie Nava and the folks at SunPower by Green Convergence absolutely rock!! On a scale of one to ten, they are a 20!!

He charged me $4,000 with the agreement that they are going to fix the roof where it was leaking. Less than a year forward, after the rain here in California in February 2025, same problem, there is still leak coming out from the same spot that is supposed to have been fixed by them. So, I called them since they have a 2 year guarantee that they have given me in our contract, they came back to inspect the leak, and now they are telling me that it's not the area that they fixed a year ago and they can come back to fix the roof however gave me a quote of $12,000, which according to them is already a discounted price. I had another company look at the roof, this company fixed the leak where APEX should have fixed it in the first place and only paid $1,500 compared to the $12,000 that Dori Halon is asking me. After a Series of rain early March 2025, after the 2nd company fixed it there's no more Leak. This means that they scammed me on the work that they claim they completed would have fixed a very simple leak issue. I wanted to sue them and make small claims but I realized the headache that I have to deal with is not worth it. So, I'm just giving them this review. I hope this review will help other homeowners make informed decision not to use this company and not deal
