Pineapple upside and German Chocolate cake.

My wife is gluten intolerant and struggles with dairy. I do not suffer like that, but I go with her when she finds interesting new eats. As a supportive carnivore, I will say that this restaurant is really really good. They obviously know how to bake and I would argue they're better than a lot of the bakeries that I have been to that aren't gluten free. We had their pesto sausage bake and their T.BL.T and then we came back the next day and had chickpea salad and their biscuits and gravy and then we came back AGAIN (since finding good gluten free option is damn near impossible where we live) to get their pineapple dump cake and their German chocolate cake. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Nashville.

Friendly counter service. Roomy dining area in an old gas station/garage. Outdoor seating available. Ordered half a sandwich with half a salad. So delicious and plenty of food.

Sunflowers everywhere- delicious baked goods too

Very cute gluten free bakery! It's not easy to find gf and vegan options but this is the place! We shared a delicious Thanksgiving burger and gobbled it right up, accompanied by our regular coffee and lavender latte ( get it hot!) The sunflower theme abounds inside and outside and it's a very happy place. The servers are super friendly and all the baked goods look delicious. We most certainly will return!

Once again, WOW!! Got the gluten free and dairy free (vegan) upside down apple cake!! Beautiful dessert PLUS it's yummy!! Texture is perfect, and staff was polite! We will ALWAYS come back when we're in town. This is a must stop for an allergy-havers!!

    Cupcakes to share!!!

What a lovely little treat this was for our girls weekend including a friend with celiac... all gluten free and vegan!! The girls loved the kombucha and we all loved sharing the cupcakes as a birthday treat!! So yummy!! I brought 4 home to my daughter who prefers gluten free and we were all amazed at how wonderful they were - even a couple of days later!! Yum

I was surprised to find out that I had not yet reviewed this spot. It's been so interesting and awesome to have this spin-off from Sunflower Cafe out here in Donelson. For starters as you can see from their name and also from the photos from other guests they have lots and lots of different gluten free baked cupcakes muffins and cookies and treats. They also always have a soup of the day several different salads, several different sandwiches including a tofu bahn mi, lattes, smoothies, kombuchas, and more. One thing that I'm not a huge fan of is there veggie burger is a Beyond Burger and I don't really like those so I end up choosing something else and we'll wait to get the fabulous homemade veggie burger they have at Sunflower Cafe some other time. One thing I have to say though this veggie pot pie that I pictured here, once I finally decided to get it as quickly become one of my favorite things on the planet. I'm not sure how they get it to taste so delicious because I know they don't use butter because it's vegan. But it is somehow so rich and satisfying without feeling greasy or gluey. I don't know how they do it but 100% recommend it.

Southwest salad, really tasty and you can add protein or Thai noodles

Delicious food , baked goods and drinks everytime I come! The food is amazing and gluten free and vegan! Their baked goods taste great without gluten or milk. I love coming here. It's a great atmosphere and great service too!

Amazing!! As fairly new vegans, we were thrilled to find a place that is both vegan and gluten free. We ordered the BBQ sandwich, the Thai salad and another salad with chickpeas. Each of these had wonderful dressings and flavors. The food came out pretty fast and the staff were all great! We ended up also taking 2 cupcakes with us. The carrot cake and double chocolate. The place is really nice, clean, updated and they offer homemade kombuchas. We will definitely be back for much more!!!

I think this is by far my favorite place I visited when I was in Nashville. My sister and I ended up buying quite a few baked goods to try! If you have a gluten or dairy allergy or just like eating vegan food this is the place to go! My sister ordered your biscuit bake and I did the pesto sausage bake. Both of these easily make 2 meals. The pesto sausage bake was so flavorful! My sister said she wished she would have ordered gravy on the biscuit bake because the biscuit was so dry. The staff were super helpful in answering questions. We ended up getting scones and cupcakes from their bakery as well. The scones were the perfect amount dryness but oh so good. We ended up getting: maple pecan, cranberry orange, lemon poppyseed, and vanilla chocolate chip. Our favorites were the lemon poppyseed and cranberry orange. The cupcake flavors were as follows: cookies and cream, mint chip, pb cup, strawberry vanilla, lavender vanilla, lemon curd, chocolate cheesecake, apple pie, and chocolate dream. Out of all of them our favorite was lemon curd because it tasted like sunshine. If you do not like andes mint I would not get the mint chip.

Absolutely love Sunflower Bakehouse. I'm not vegan, but my boyfriend is. I still enjoy vegan dishes & this establishment does it right. They also have delicious desserts. My favorites are the strawberry vanilla cupcake, carrot cake cupcake, & blueberry muffin. They're about $4 each, but they're a nice size & worth every penny.

I absolutely love this place. As a celiac who just recently moved to Nashville from California, it's been really difficult to find yummy affordable gluten free options. I've been here a few times now and it's officially my favorite place here. The service is great, the ambiance is calm and relaxing, and of course the food is delish. My favorite is the cali sandwich with cucumber salad. Not to mention the bakery. Seriously an amazing spot:)

Friendly and welcoming service! The bakery looked delicious we will return to try a few of those items. Today, we ordered breakfast English muffin breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy with eggs. Sandwich was flavorful and filling. Biscuits and gravy was plain needed a little more flavor. The bakery was clean, bright and wonderfully decorated

Is there anything better than finding a delicious vegan restaurant with great customer service?…read more Avo is just that! I came into town late and was looking to pickup some food. The team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to their menu and allergens. They walked me through the lentil walnut and cali burger and how to make those soy-free (remove the coconut cheese/queso). They also walked me through other options and were happy to do so, which can be rare. The Cali Burger had amazing spice and the sweet potato bun was soft and delicious. Fries and buffalo wings were on point! My non-vegan colleagues originally wanted to go elsewhere but ended up devouring their options as they couldn't say "no" when they tasted the food. Avo is a must try. Thank you for offering great vegan food and customer service. You have a lifer here!

I'd give it about a 7/10. The cauliflower wings were solid and pretty much what you'd expect, around a 7.5/10. Now the standouts... the blueberry cheesecake was a 10/10....so good, rich, and flavorful. The potatoes with queso at the bottom were also amazing, definitely a 9/10. I ordered an iced matcha latte, which I really enjoyed it's slightly on the sweeter side, but still a 9/10 for me. My son got the animal-style burger and absolutely loved it, he gave it a 10/10. On top of the food, the staff was really kind and the customer service was great. I even had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly sweet. Overall, I definitely recommend this spot if you're in Nashville. I'll be coming back every time I'm in the city.

The cooks were throwing down in that kitchen! Over a couple of days I tried a few things. SZECHUAN SALAD I got the Szechuan Salad with both kale and spinach. I added tempeh bacon and extra dressing on the side. (It didn't need the extra dressing though.) This salad is SO good! I had to force myself to put the fork down and not overeat. It's a large portion so you can share or save half for another day. (When doing this I recommend getting the dressings on the side to prevent soggy greens.) All of the ingredients tasted super fresh, and that Szechuan tofu was thoroughly marinated. Deliciousness! The tempeh (and at home avocado) that I added wasn't necessary but it sure was tasty. This salad is gluten free. SZECHUAN BRUSSELS I love me some roasted brussels sprouts so it was a must to try theirs. I added jalapeños and Hot Tempeh. I have no idea what Hot Tempeh is but I wanted to try it. Best decision ever. The dish itself is amazing. 10/10! The sprouts are saturated in the Szechuan sauce and spices, so every tender bite bursts with tantalizing flavors in your mouth. The Hot Tempeh is tempeh with a coating. It's quite delicious and it elevated an already soaring experience for me. The Szechuan Brussels dish is gluten free, but the Hot Tempeh is not (because of the breading). DUBAI CHOCOLATE CAKE Because I had to. It was NOT gluten free, but I risked it (I have a gluten sensitivity). They did have a gluten free chocolate cake and a gluten free brownie à la mode dish, but I needed that Dubai Chocolate. It was delicious. BLUEBERRY PANCAKES I ordered a single pancake, gluten free for $1 extra. So fluffy and buttery. You'd never guess it was gluten free or vegan. ROASTED POTATOES Excellent preparation and seasonings. MOCK TUNA MELT Gluten free when ordered as a bowl. It was served on a bed of spinach instead of bread. I omitted the cheese and tomatoes. It was very good and the chipotle sauce had a great kick. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE Gluten free. Rich. Delicious. Everything I ate here exceeded my expectations. Graze is sure to be one of my go to spots for delicious food when I'm in Nashville.
