Dubs Dread is probably the best of Kansas City's older courses, and I love older courses. Also , it…read morewill test your golf skills. From the beautiful clubhouse to the well stocked pro shop, this place is first class all the way. We stopped to get a cart and the young lady was very helpful and got us going right away. Also, nice new golf carts vs. some places that have a plaque that says " Jack Nicklaus rode in this as a teenager." The course is beautiful laid out, well manicured , and plenty of old growth trees to add a degree of difficulty to the game, but challenges hone your skills. Afterward, we went back to the clubhouse where we enjoyed some food and adult beverages, enhanced by the magnificent view of the course while out on the deck. All in all, you can't go wrong with this place.

Great layout with a lot of character, not just going back and forth in a field. I saw that the desired time is 4:15 and is called a pace of play course. Course is well kept, even with the ridiculous heat we have been having. Some tee boxes were pretty hard, but overall good shape. Real nice carts that looked pretty new and had GPS and speakers that you could pair to your phone. Driving range not bad with mat and grass available. The traps are cool!! don't like being in them but they look great. Nice clubhouse and the staff very pleasant. Looks like they wash every cart after use with ice provided in cooler! Definitely will be back!

OVERPRICED AND MISINFORMED STAY AWAY He wants 500 dollars…read morefor a used set of 30 year old irons. Absolutely ridiculous pricing he sold my dad a jpx 900 hybrid for 250 dollars. This club goes for about 120 max online in good condition. I didn't wanna call this out in the store but it's absolutely ridiculous. My dad claims "I like to support small businesses" fair enough but this guy is basically a con man. I came in with a head of Paradym X and told him the shaft broke which it did. (The shaft broke just because of extensive use.) he tried to tell me that it wasn't because of the shaft it was because of my swing/ball contact. Now I'm totally up for constructive criticism but this is just a red flag for multiple reasons. For one it isn't true because the day it broke I was hitting drives consistently 280 in the fairway so I know for a fact it wasn't off the heel. Another reason comes from a business perspective it dosent seem like that would be the best thing to say if you're trying to sell something to someone. The last thing is that he claimed to be a big Mizuno fan which I'm starting to think was a lie because my dad told him that we both love Mizuno. My dad told him he has mp 20 hmb irons which he does and his first response was, are you sure those are real? He said that Mizuno only maid irons in odd numbers. This is just false but the icing on the cake was when he claimed that he then used mp 60 irons in his bag which is an even number. Moral of the story is we were in there for less then 30 minutes and was by far the worst shopping experience I've ever had 1/10 would not recommend stay away.
