On the day of the appointment, I was asked to come in earlier. I wasn't able to, but said I could come in later. She agreed. I made the mistake of assuming it would be with the same person, I was wrong. The massage was just ok, it did not hit any of the same spots as the massage by the first woman, and I honestly left feeling upset and more tense than when I got there. I realize this is a first world problem, but I don't spend money on myself often. Not to mention it did nothing to help my pain, the whole reason I booked a second appointment.

It is traditional Chinese massage and borders between amazingly stress relieving and slightly painful, lol. (I love a firm, hard pressure with my massages!). I stumbled upon this place as I walked down Beacon Street in Washington Sq. and I had been craving a deep tissue massage, so I just walked in. Everything seemed customary up until this point... I am lying down, ready for my deep tissue massage, and the woman who assisted me comes into the room. She begins working. As soon as I am getting into my massage, a phone rings-- so, she says "sorry" and stops the massage to go answer the phone. I thought "how weird!". She comes back in and starts the massage again. Then, things got weirder... Another woman comes in and starts working on me too. So, they are both massaging me, speaking in Mandarin Chinese, as I attempt to relax. It ruined the experience of what should have been a peaceful massage. I contemplated getting up and going, but the massage felt good, so I stayed and figured I wouldn't really tip much, if at all. The phone rings for a second time. The lady who started working on me first leaves for the second time. I am left with the other woman who joined her. She is still working.
