I had my first massage today with Christina and she was awesome. She knew exactly where all my tension areas and tightness was. She worked diligently on specific parts and had nice firm pressure. She was professional and attentive to my needs. I had many many massages in my years and I must say she the only one who really knows how to get into the knots and kinks and she stays there for a while before moving to other body parts which is a huge plus for me. I'm also auto immune so I appreciate it that she wore a mask. I will definitely be going there again soon maybe even try her package deals. I think I enjoy the space at Watertown Massage for than any of the other massage location I've been too. It's simutaneously chic and casual at the same time. That said, it could be a dive and I would't factor it into a grade for a deep tissue massage. This review is all about skill. Christina has chops. I don't say that often. There are only a handful of therapists I'd give five stars too, but this is well earned. I've been here close to a dozen times now, so I can confirm consistency as well. Her deep work is on par with the best of them, and my angry muscles appreciate the efforts time and time again. Also, parking is usually pretty easy to find and she's got a pretty expansive schedule so it's easy to find something that works. read more

I have gotten other massages that feel nice when you are there but don't make a lasting impact, and for days after my massages with Christina I feel a palpable difference. Christina is a Magician, I have been seeing her for regular monthly (if not more) massages for approxmiately 4 years. Regardless of whether you are looking for a massage to relax your tired muscles or some deep healing work, she can do it all. I've been going to see Christina at Watertown Massage for at least 5 years on a monthly basis. Over the years I have had neck, shoulder, low back, hip, and foot problems that she has corrected. She is well versed in anatomy and knows exactly where to go to get at the root of the problem! I prefer deep tissue/myofascial release technique but she will adjust her touch to whatever you want. I actually consider Christina as a health provider. Her massages keep me going from month to month. Besides having a calming personality, she is punctual and has a homey atmosphere in her office. I had a great massage with Christina. This may have been because of my request, but rather than focus on broad areas, she was able to find those connective channels from your back down through your legs (or your neck through to your shoulders) and really work them through pretty rigorously. As she was working on them, there were several points where I could feel tension, knots, and other problem spots that she delved into well. She didn't rush through those spots - she was able to stay patient in those areas until there was some release of tension. I really wanted that as opposed to a more traditional swedish massage which at least for me has less therapeutic benefit. I'm sure she can do a lighter, softer more relaxing massage, but that's not what I asked for - so I definitely appreciate her listening to what I wanted and delivering. BTW street parking is available and has never been an issue.
