    Buy somewhere other than this garbage store. They said my glasses that I wore one time and didn't like were damaged. I couldn't even find the scratch the person was talking about. Then blamed me for not inspecting them better when I bought them. This is why brick and motor stores are going away. I don't need to shop local and places like this will push everyone online. They also haven't claimed their business on Yelp because they know it will be nothing but bad reviews for their awful customer service.

I was told by one team member when asked that the store does give educator discounts. As I am ready to pay, the person at register says "I'm sorry I don't know what he is talking about." Manager was called and he said no we don't offer that. The only reason I made my purchase was because of the 15% off I was told I would get. It was pretty upsetting and to not hold up the line further, I paid the full price. Made me feel embarrassed.

    I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an extremely disappointing and unacceptable…read moreexperience I had at the Saks OFF 5TH store located in Cabazon, California. I have been a loyal customer of Saks OFF 5TH for nearly 20 years. I live in Palm Springs, CA, and have regularly shopped at the Cabazon location. In fact, last year I even opened a store credit card because of my long-standing loyalty to the brand. Therefore, what happened during my recent visit was both shocking and deeply upsetting. On March 2, 2026, I visited the Cabazon store and purchased seven men's suits. Since I was aware that the store would soon be closing, I specifically asked the staff at the register to confirm that the jacket and pants sizes matched for each suit. After returning home, I discovered that one of the suits--a dark blue suit by Scotch & Soda--had a jacket size of 40R but pants size of 48R, which is obviously a completely mismatched set. On March 4, 2026, I returned to the store to request an exchange for the correct size. I fully understand that the items were marked as FINAL SALE. However, this was not a typical return situation. This was clearly a mismatched product, and I reasonably expected the store to correct the error by either providing the proper pants size or allowing an exchange for the same suit. Instead, I was treated in an extremely rude and dismissive manner by the staffs, particularly by the manager, Rakesh, and another employee(or manager) whose behavior was even more aggressive. They immediately insisted that because the item was final sale, nothing could be done, and they repeatedly told me that checking the sizes was entirely my responsibility. The tone and attitude they displayed were confrontational and disrespectful. I have shopped at OFF 5TH and Saks Fifth Avenue for decades and have never experienced such treatment. Their behavior gave me the clear impression that because the store is closing soon, they simply did not care about providing any level of customer service. To be completely honest, the situation also made me feel as though I was being treated with less respect because English is not my first language. The dismissive attitude, the raised voices, and the refusal to even consider a reasonable solution were extremely upsetting. Eventually, after a female staff member suggested that they simply check whether the correct pants size existed, I personally went to the rack and found the correct matching pants myself. Only then did they reluctantly agree to exchange it. Even during this process, the manager warned me not to "yell" in the store, which I found completely inappropriate given the circumstances. The entire experience left me feeling humiliated, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. What should have been a final visit to a store I had supported for two decades turned into one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had. For clarity, here are the details: Purchase date: March 2, 2026 Exchange request date: March 4, 2026 Manager involved: Rakesh Store Manager: Michael Dufresne Location: Saks OFF 5TH - Cabazon, CA After 20 years of being a loyal customer, I find it unacceptable that a simple and reasonable issue involving a mismatched suit set was handled in such an arrogant and disrespectful manner. I sincerely hope Saks OFF 5TH takes this complaint seriously and addresses the behavior of the staff involved.

Fortunately, there's Saks OFF 5TH to provide some relief and the occasional jaw-dropping deal. Run, don't walk, to the area where everything is locked up with cables and beeping alarms -- that's where the treasure is. Each OFF 5TH has a small selection (sometimes just a rack or two) of direct-from-boutique designer goods from last season: Gucci, Balenciaga, Off White, Versace, Prada, Moncler. I'm not sure how management decides what gets sent to OFF 5TH, but I promise you it is worth a look. A very small number of designer bags can also be found in the locked glass cases against the wall. The better shoes don't seem to make it so I would pass on those. Bonus: they have some sort of free loyalty program where you earn credits with every purchase. And no one will know your haul was from OFF 5TH.

So you can find different items throughout the store. On some days, half of the store is on sale and the other half isn't. On annual sales, probably 90% of the store is on sale. If you, or the people on your gift list, like Brighton, this is a great place for bargains. If you like their belts, they have great deals on these. You'll need to be patient as lines can be long to checkout. Also, depending on the season, you will either get gift boxes / packaging for every item you buy, or just a few. Parking is ok as well. If you enter from the main street, the parking to the right is usually the best. Bathrooms are available about 100 yards down from this store. But, even though I rated it 3 stars, it could be 4. We do stop in about once a year and always leave with a purchase. Hope you can find something you like for you or your loved ones and...enjoy!!!

The quality is always good at Brighton. That's why I made a special trip , I figured the hour drive and the gas I spent on this trip would be worth it. Sadly, I didn't go this route. I cannot say I would never buy this product again, just maybe not at this store. Brighton should teach their employees customer service skills and most of all never to judge a book by its cover. I ended up getting the best customer service at Chicos and spent the extra cash at their store. Well worth every dollar spent.
