Somewhere between ok and good. Figuring out their pricing during sales required a calculator. Because it is in an outlet area, it gets very busy and items get moved around quite a bit. So you can find different items throughout the store. On some days, half of the store is on sale and the other half isn't. On annual sales, probably 90% of the store is on sale. If you, or the people on your gift list, like Brighton, this is a great place for bargains. If you like their belts, they have great deals on these. You'll need to be patient as lines can be long to checkout. Also, depending on the season, you will either get gift boxes / packaging for every item you buy, or just a few. Parking is ok as well. If you enter from the main street, the parking to the right is usually the best. Bathrooms are available about 100 yards down from this store. But, even though I rated it 3 stars, it could be 4. First of all a hello , a smile of acknowledgment , just like to be treated like the other customers in the store. The selection was good, everything I anticipated. The quality is always good at Brighton. That's why I made a special trip , I figured the hour drive and the gas I spent on this trip would be worth it. Sadly, I didn't go this route. I cannot say I would never buy this product again, just maybe not at this store. Brighton should teach their employees customer service skills and most of all never to judge a book by its cover. On the east side outskirts of the cabazon outlets, easily accessible with parking right in front of these strip of shops. I do have to say one staff was very nice while I looked around which is what bumps this to a three but they were way over staffed for such a small store. Service was informative but usually at other store locations I'm always offered a beverage right off the bat, welcoming and friendly with no judgment of how I look. Unfortunately this time wasn't the case. Ive had a few of these experiences in my life. I felt the watchful eyes on me. I was one of two customers inside at the time. I got the "pretty woman" look over but I continued to look around. I always shop at Brighton to find gifts for my mom and sister but the initial judgment was a little off putting for the now, hurried visit. I felt uncomfortable browsing around. After seeing a few others who have had a similar experience, I'm not sure if I would return to this location. Staff etiquette needs improvement. It's sad that a place with the Brighton name could have this type of experience. This was a long overdue review when I visited Desert Hills Premium Outlets, Cabazon, CA., Also on the way via a prior trip to Palm Springs, CA. This trip out, I was only able to find 1 cute item to keep as souvenir from Brighton store here. It's not a usual brand I shop, but it was on the way out to the car so stopped by to take a looksie inside. The only item I was able to locate at a reasonable price was this blue-hearted mini Brighton notepad and pen set. I just use the item to gawk at and not use because its design is too cute. read more

I'll be the first to admit, I despise, like seriously absolutely despise outlet shopping. The stuff is always complete gross garbage and not worth a second of my time, ever, like ever ever. BUT... I LOVE Brighton - love it love it love it! Own soooooo many pieces of it, it's a bit ridiculous. Well, all of the cute pieces that is - tons of rings, necklaces, belts, bangles, earrings, etc. So... when we were passing by and I spotted Brighton I thought I should stop in *just to see* Well, yea - there's not a whole lot of a bargain here. I am pretty particular about the pieces I love from this company and by no stretch of the imagination is it anywhere near everything. Unfortunately, I did not find any cute jewelry at a deep discount. I did however find a couple of cute belts at a real fraction of what you'd pay for a belt in their retail stores (which half of this store is, so expect regular pricing on those items) back to the belts - which isn't really an item I typically shop for at Brighton but found two cute ones, one for $1.99 (which, if you know my thrifty ways - they offset my splurges ;) it's not all Gucci and Hermes baby, I'm sure I single handily keep the electricity on at my local thrift store so 2 bucks is a price I can get behind being that it was like $50 originally) and another for $9.99 that retailed for $75. First time at the outlet store was last Sunday evening on the way back from the desert. They still had their Black Friday / post Thanksgiving pricing in effect. Deep discounts on hundreds of items. I focused on charms and potential gift items. The manager on duty was borderline rude to me, and also to the male associate working with her. I asked whether they carried a particular line and she snapped that they have items up to 10 years old and doesn't know the collections by name. Okay! Such a total opposite of the way the associates treat customers in one of the retail stores. Just because it's an outlet doesn't mean that manners don't apply. Don't go...very rude customer service; ;belts are sized incorrectly Bought 4 belts for men in my family and verified the sizes before purchasing. They were all a size too small...managed to be able to get 2 of them to work but sizing up but 2 simply didn't. I came back less than 24 hr later and said to one of the sales ladies that the sizes were not correct and I just wanted to exchange for a size up. I found some that would have worked but another sales lady said no exchanges allowed. I understand that but the sizing is incorrect so that seems unfair. Let me preface this with I have never left a negative review on Yelp. However after interacting with an employee who was working there tonight I felt like I have to address it. I walked into the store with a bag in my hand to return. I had a great time picking out the purse with a previous employee for my mother's birthday. I have been purchasing Brighton for over 20 years and after this experience I will sadly have to discontinue. She immediately greeted me with "how can I help you". I responded with request for return. Not two seconds later she looked at me with disgust and said "well do you have the receipt". She kept waiting for me like she was going to catch me in a lie and she said "you see here it says no returns or exchanges". I said I wish this was communicated to me on date of purchase. She said "even if it wasn't, there are signs posted everywhere". I am extremely disappointed. It seems like there is just a lot of sadness and anger in the world right now. If you have friends or family that are Brighton lovers, this is the place to pick up a gift and surprise them with something from Brighton. Just remember, this is a real outlet and all sales are final. Check out the discount codes when you get there and use your handy calculator on your phone to figure the final price. Be ready to have a million sales associates stare you down while you browse, they don't seem to be there to help as much as to watch for shop lifting, a little down side of the normal Brighton shopping experience, but ask and they'll get you a final price, just be prepared for discount shopping experience. Worth it if you don't mind that and looking to grab some deals. Some items as much as 90% off if you look carefully. These are real discounts, not inflated prices. One of the few real outlet places I have found. Brighton does not even advertise this location on their website. Only three outlets nationwide for Brighton so check it out when nearby. read more

The Brighton Garage Sale is always one of the highlights of a visit to the Cabazon outlets. They take place mid-month (call ahead to ask for the exact date), and the deals are insane: I've gotten handbags for less than $20, pins for $3, keychains for $3-5, and jewelry for less than $20. There have been sunglasses for $10 and shoes for $20 on occasion. If you're a Brighton fan, these prices can't be beat. The only downside to the garage sale is that occasionally (as in, before Christmas), the line can be ridiculously long just to get in, and there's no guarantee that you'll find anything you want. (Somehow, though, that's never a problem for me. I'll just be over here, snuggling with the leather bags and petting the pretty, pretty shoes.) read more

We were able to buy a Christmas presents for our families here, and people fell over thinking we spent over $500 per person. The secret was that we bought many items for under $20. This is extremely high quality items. Being a guy, I even found stuff for myself, like wallets worth $60 but bought for $10 and belts for $10, of extremely high quality leather. This is a real outlet store, only 2 in the US for Brighton. on a monthly basis, check out the "Garage Sale", which goes on the Third Friday of every month and lasts all weekend. Update: I went to the anniversary sale this Saturday and it was amazing! I walked out with over 3 grand in retail worth of items for 400 bucks! Most handbags were 29.99-69.99 which is such a bargain! They had tons and tons of stuff! Belts for 4.99, wallets for 9.99, shoes for 19.99 etc... They do limit you to purchasing 25 items per day. The quality and prices dig this place out of a -5 stars. I was treated like a thief: an employee thought I was casing the joint, determining what I would steal. If I was gonna steal, why in the world was I putting items, mostly large in nature in the tray I was given??!! I was moving around the store one or two styles at a time attempting to piece together sets. Literally had this woman's eye on me the entire time I was shopping, she also followed me around the store like a bad smell, creeping around displays pretending to keep an eye on the store as a whole. She would definitely benefit from asset protection reeducation. I asked her a question and she answered snarky, treating me as if I was the garbage she has to step around. My bad I didnt know my socioeconomic garbage status. Word to this staff: please don't tell me how to put on hinged bracelets. In no way was I potentially harming the merch. I have fine motor problems so I put hinged bracelets on a little differently. If you hadn't profile me you would've noticed in no way could I have damaged the bracelets: just because it's a little different, it doesn't mean I am damaging everything I tried on. We all have bad days, I get that; but in retail you need to leave your nasty attitude and higher than thou, demeaning attitudes at home: in retail, you fake it until you make it once you enter your store. My haul was $1.80 less than $500.00. This trash required a Brighton bedazzled Hefty bag to tote the merch out. read more

OMG this store is like Disneyland for Brighton fantatics like myself. I drove over 100 miles to find a purse I was looking for and it was there. They have an amazing selection of purses, jewelry, shoes and other accessories. Everything is 30%-70% off. The ladies were very helpful, especially Constance. I had an incredible shopping experience and will definitely be back. The store is also very nicely organized. I wish that I lived closer because I would be here all of the time. I've always made it a point to visit this store when passing through on my way into Palm Springs as the retail store in Marina del Rey can get pretty pricey. I stopped into this store yesterday morning and did not find the sale prices to be that great on the few products that caught my eye -- I was a little disappointed because I usually find several whimsical pieces for myself as well as gift items. Just as I was planning to leave empty handed, I found several small gift items. No one was at the register; 2 of the workers were on the floor talking to each other in front of the counter and the 3rd was with a customer. One worker soon broke free to assist me so I didn't wait long at all but it was strange because she went around the counter, looked at me and didn't say anything. She picked up the items I had on the counter, rang them up, bagged them then handed me the receipt and was done with me. She did not greet me, she did not thank me, she did not even smile. Loved the cute straw purse that I bought here last month, but when I came home to Portland, OR, it started to unravel a little bit. Took it into my local store -- Washington Square -- and was amazed to not only NOT receive the traditional warm Brighton welcome but to also be told that they weren't sure they could help me because I bought the purse at a (gasp!) Brighton outlet store. The assistant manager took my name and number and said she'd call if her manager ruled differently. Seemed extremely odd -- the gal went as far as showing me that it's no longer "really" a Brighton purse because the name had been scratched out of the inside. When I said that no one at the outlet had let me know this, she said (three times!) that I should be happy that I got such a great price. Odd comment but she's right -- was happy with the price until it fell apart -- now, it's pretty expensive for a purse that only lasted a month! A great place if you're looking for discounts on Brighton. The staff is very helpful and no high pressure sales. I made the drive based on information from previous reviews. I just want to update that information. They no longer have the Garage Sales. They have year round discount starting at 30% and going up to 90% on various merchandise. From time to time, the also throw in other special sales. This month they had an incredible sale on belts. $10 for the first belt, and then $5 for every additional belt. Wild. So disappointed!! We absolutely love Brighton bags and jewelry, but will unfortunately not be shopping at this location ever again. We stopped in to buy our grandmother a purse and wallet for her birthday and it turned out to be the worst decision we could have made! They were having their colored tag sale and were fairly busy. I received absolutely no help after asking multiple times, but I wrote it off to the store being busy. When I finally got to the register I asked the clerk if they had a gift bag or wrapping for the purse and wallet and she rudely said, "no!" I then asked if I could have an additional bag, since I purchased other items as well, that were not gifts. The clerk did not even look at me and grabbed the bag and tossed it on the counter. After she rang me up, the price seemed higher than it was supposed to be. The clerk gave me a 20% discount instead of the 40% like it was marked. When I informed her of her mistake, she told me I had to get back in line and wait for a manager? I literally had just paid and was looking at the receipt at the counter. Luckily, or so I thought, the manager was walking by and the clerk told her about the mistake. The manager was even more rude. She would barely speak to me when I tried explaining to her what had happened and how rude the clerk was being. I then asked her if it was a company policy for her and her staff to be rude to customers for no apparent reason and offer absolutely no help and she replied by handing me the change that I was owed from being over charged and by sternly telling me that it's not a company policy, but they have all had a long day. It was seriously 12 in the afternoon?!? I didn't receive an apology or anything. I am so disappointed in the customer service at this store and the blatant fact that the management and staff are absolutely atrocious towards their customers! I would rather go to coach and spend the extra money to be actually treated like a decent human being and not like I am bothering their store for merely purchasing items.
