I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience I had at the Saks OFF 5TH store located in Cabazon, California. I have been a loyal customer of Saks OFF 5TH for nearly 20 years. I live in Palm Springs, CA, and have regularly shopped at the Cabazon location. In fact, last year I even opened a store credit card because of my long-standing loyalty to the brand. Therefore, what happened during my recent visit was both shocking and deeply upsetting. On March 2, 2026, I visited the Cabazon store and purchased seven men's suits. Since I was aware that the store would soon be closing, I specifically asked the staff at the register to confirm that the jacket and pants sizes matched for each suit. After returning home, I discovered that one of the suits--a dark blue suit by Scotch & Soda--had a jacket size of 40R but pants size of 48R, which is obviously a completely mismatched set. On March 4, 2026, I returned to the store to request an exchange for the correct size. I fully understand that the items were marked as FINAL SALE. However, this was not a typical return situation. This was clearly a mismatched product, and I reasonably expected the store to correct the error by either providing the proper pants size or allowing an exchange for the same suit. Instead, I was treated in an extremely rude and dismissive manner by the staffs, particularly by the manager, Rakesh, and another employee(or manager) whose behavior was even more aggressive. They immediately insisted that because the item was final sale, nothing could be done, and they repeatedly told me that checking the sizes was entirely my responsibility. The tone and attitude they displayed were confrontational and disrespectful. I have shopped at OFF 5TH and Saks Fifth Avenue for decades and have never experienced such treatment. Their behavior gave me the clear impression that because the store is closing soon, they simply did not care about providing any level of customer service. To be completely honest, the situation also made me feel as though I was being treated with less respect because English is not my first language. The dismissive attitude, the raised voices, and the refusal to even consider a reasonable solution were extremely upsetting. Eventually, after a female staff member suggested that they simply check whether the correct pants size existed, I personally went to the rack and found the correct matching pants myself. Only then did they reluctantly agree to exchange it. Even during this process, the manager warned me not to "yell" in the store, which I found completely inappropriate given the circumstances. The entire experience left me feeling humiliated, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. What should have been a final visit to a store I had supported for two decades turned into one of the worst retail experiences I have ever had. Fashion's just a house of cards, isn't it? Now that Saks owns Neiman Marcus, we may see less price competition in the world of luxury brands. Fortunately, there's Saks OFF 5TH to provide some relief and the occasional jaw-dropping deal. Run, don't walk, to the area where everything is locked up with cables and beeping alarms -- that's where the treasure is. Each OFF 5TH has a small selection (sometimes just a rack or two) of direct-from-boutique designer goods from last season: Gucci, Balenciaga, Off White, Versace, Prada, Moncler. I'm not sure how management decides what gets sent to OFF 5TH, but I promise you it is worth a look. A very small number of designer bags can also be found in the locked glass cases against the wall. The better shoes don't seem to make it so I would pass on those. Bonus: they have some sort of free loyalty program where you earn credits with every purchase. And no one will know your haul was from OFF 5TH. read more

I also prefer the Cabazon branch over Ontario Mills because have been able to find more sales here from Cabazon. I need to make a trip here again in the near future. This is 1 of my favorite Fashion lines due to watching Friends' TV Show since Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) was trying to interview for the company but didn't even get an interview. I just like their simple black and white striped and New York City line designs from their line of merchandise. I often browse through their Clearance section and their make up brushes. Their make up brushes are made sooooo soft!!!! I actually bought 2 sets of them~will return to add pics of their make up brushes. I'll likely return here many more times to go. They also have a reward system, but I'm not even keeping track of that I just simply love this fashion line. Will be back soon to stock up.... read more

Very disappointed in this store. I walked in this afternoon 8/4/22 about 5:15 pm. 4 employees were having personal conversations with each other. They looked in my direction, turned back to each other & continued their conversation. Asking each other "how old are you? " " How old is your mother?" "My mother is 43 & I'm 23", one employee answered. I was not acknowledged at all the entire time I wandered around the store. No one asked if I needed help or had a question. The employees just continued on with their conversation. Their conversation was finally over & 2 employees walked passed me & still no acknowledgment. I've been shopping at this store for many many years & have shopped other MK stores & have never been treated this rudely. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. read more

First of all, this is an OUTLET, not a full line store. If you want full line service .... Go to a full line store. My experience has always been adequate/good/excellent. They do not work on commission (no outlet store does) so the notion that great/bad was based on the sticker price is dumb. There are inventory issues everywhere from the markets to drug stores to department store, and again this is an OUTLET. I recommend it. read more

Did you ever have shoegasm 3 times in a row in 5 minutes? Don't be jealous =P I did and it was amazing!!! So I was minding my own business and was just window shopping. Whenever I go to Off Fifth Avenue I always go to the shoe department first. My size is usually limited so I wasn't expecting to see anything cute. Then I saw Stuart Weitzman navy blue pumps with bows at the front. Very simple shoes. Nothing special. But it was love at first sight and they fit me perfectly. My first shoegasm was breathtaking. I thought I was done. Then BAM it hit me again the second time. A pair of simple black Stuart Weitzman black pointy toe pumps. I've been looking all my life for those. They were perfect again...second shoegasm. I was already satisfied with the second shoegasm and was ready to get up and leave. Guess what? The third and final shoegasm. Tahari suede green pumps. What?? Another one? I am such a lucky girl. 3 shoegasms in a row in 5 minutes. I ended up returning the green suede shoes but I sure did enjoy the time when they wrapped around my feet. It's an outlet, I shouldn't have high expectations or anything which I didn't. The employees were helpful, I of course always just assume in an outlet, whatever is out on the floor are the only items and size available. There were a lot of sunglasses out on the floor, so many cute ones that it was hard to pick which one to buy so my aunt bought 2 and they were nice designer ones too. Clothes were nicely organized by type, brand, and color. I couldn't find anything in the shoe department though. Yay - sunglasses galore! I bought a cute pair of Michael Kors sunglasses from here on a spur of the moment purchase, and am delighted by the style and the pricepoint. I looked quickly at the clothes - nothing really suited my fancy - and took a quick peek at the bags. Because there are are so many other handbags for sale at the Outlets, I found a better deal and more styles elsewhere. read more

Hit and miss. I find this store to be pretty inconsistent with bags and clothes. I've had good lunch finding bargains with shoes, jeans and sunglasses. But clothes today in particular were really boring with no real deals. The luxury designer section was practically nonexistent today. I usually stop in at the outlets on the way to Palm Desert a few times a year. I haven't given up on Saks but the last couple of visits this year have been disappointing and much like visiting a Nordstrom Rack. read more

The problem I have with all Off 5th stores is their lack of inventory in the shoe department. As a size 12, I have my work cut out for me to find fashionable and affordable shoes. If I were a size 9 or 10, my review would be much different. But since I'm no longer in middle school (the last time I could fit into a size 10) this review is what it is. As far as their clothing goes, they sell a lot of the designer jeans (which I can't stand) but a lot of guys like. I prefer my jeans to be as un-ornate as humanly possible. I like patterns on wrapping paper, not on my ass. Their sales aren't meant for everyone. If you live alone and make over 50k/yr, then shopping here can be an option for you. You must remember that they carry leftovers of high-end designers, sometimes ultra high-end designers. Don't ever expect to find a D&G button-down for less than $80 here. And don't expect to find shoes that aren't tacky if you're a size 12 or above. Keep looking... read more

All denim $99! At that price I felt I had to buy some so I did. Got some shoes on sale as well. Cashier was friendly, applied for a store card to get an additional 10% off...I didn't get approved or declined (something about it will be processed thru the mail) but still got the discount. read more

Off 5th was great. The range was hit and miss and required a bit of work to find items. The clothing was packed way too tightly on the 50% off racks to be able to see what was available. Shoes were fantastic at a further 40% off the lowest price. I purchased 3 pairs of sunnies (Jimmy Choo, Gucci & Marc by Marc Jacobs) all at a further 50% off the lowest price. The MBMJ ended up costing around $28... There was a random selection of handbags and wallets also. Staff were fantastic and very welcoming. I am quite sure you would enjoy your visit there and leave with a bargain or two. PS. They also offer if you wish to pay in USD or AUD for us Aussie shoppers which was really helpful read more

Horrible customer service. My MIL fell in the store while attempting to carry boxes because no one assisted her. The manager was very nice after the fact, but even after at checkout they rushed my MIL when she was asking to see an item at the cases where checkout is. Then after they made her re wait in line, they sales girl realized she was purchasing the ' expensive ' glasses she changed her attitude. 2 associates walked past my mother when she fell, and 2 associates brushed her and rushed her off when trying to complete her purchases. I went here the other day cause I was bored, had too much time on my hands and some cash burning a hole in my pocket. School is ready to start up again so I needed some dress clothes, and reasonably cheap. Which is kind of retarded that I am looking for deals at a saks store. I found some really cool dress socks 3 for 20 dollars which was a bargain. I am really weird about socks, I don't do white and boring, especially when I dress up. They did not have tons of stuff because they still had summer clothing, but I will definitely be back as the school year approaches. read more

The drive back from Palm Springs is much nicer when you stop here and spend all your hard earned money on great deals. I swear, you find things you would never have thought you'd need. How joyous! 60% off clearance is greaaattttt. Customer service... not so great. I tried out some clothes in the dress room and no one was there. I also realized that after visiting department outlets (Nordstrom Rack, Saks), it's probably MUCH better to head here instead of factory outlets; I got a Juicy Couture bag for 30 dollars less than if I bought it in the SAME outlet that day. Great selection of handbags and accessories. Just a bit disappointed that there wasn't much of a selection in the shoe dept. I must have missed a big sale or something. Very torn on this review, the employees were super friendly and very helpful, but the store had a pair of shoes on display that no-one could find, and when we purchased a different pair of shoes it tang up a different price than what was on the shoe, more expensive of course. The employee promptly fixed it, but had I not noticed, I would have been pissed, and makes me wonder how many others may have overpaid. Good store, great employees, just watch the details, and don't get excited about a shoe until you find your size, or even the actual shoe! read more

I've seen worse. This used to be a great store to shop where they had name brands like Prada, gucci, Dior. Now all they sell is that crappy own label of theirs which only fkn old people wear. Plus their prices has hone way too high. read more

Hit or miss sometimes, but I've found some great deals here in the past! This is probably my favorite outlet at this mall, or at least the one where I've bought the most items over the years. This is definitely a great spot for authentic designer sunglasses, and you can often get pair for well under $100. I've also found some great dresses here, by designers like Tahari and BCBG. It can turn into quite a mess during big sales or events, but there are some real treasures to find if you take your time looking. Be sure to get on their email list to receive all the news about sales and special coupons too! read more

While visiting Palm Springs my family and I decided to spend a day at the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. This is the outlet mall to visit if you are looking for high end brands and Off 5th was my favorite store! What won me over was their selection of Women's shoes in size 10, specifically numerous pairs of Asics shoes ranging from $35-$50. I found a pair that would have cost 3 times more in the Asics Outlet located in the same shopping center. My husband loved the men's selection and we are both looking forward to visiting our local Off 5th when we get home! read more

Double check the prices when you pay. They were having a big sale for Presidents Day and the guy up front very clearly said all of the shoes and purses were 40% off the lowest price. I fell in love with a bag and when I went to pay it was only 25% off. When I explained to the lady that I was told they were 40% off she said "no the sign even says it's up to 40% off when you take an additional 25% off." She was right, there was a big red 40% off sign and a small white sign underneath said that was off retail price when you took an extra 25% off. So deceitful, and had I not already calculated what I was expecting to pay I wouldn't have even known. read more

I drove out of my way to shop at this particular location.... assuming it was going to be a big store with lots of merchandise, due to the fact it is at a huge outlet mall. I did assume some clothes would be out of place which is understandable with the size of business this is. Which in all reality, that wasn't the problem I had at the store at all! It was actually pretty clean... but the weird thing was there really wasn't a lot to look at, in the women's department.. or the men's! it seemed like a big building with not a lot of merchandise if that makes sense? The staff was mediocre and I don't really have anything majorly negative to say I just really couldn't find anything which is rare because I always find something! Haha read more
