The person running the shop took the time to explain all my options and was very patient and respectful throughout the process. He was able to get my prescription transition lenses for my new Meta glasses within 2-3 days, which was much faster than what I was used to. When I first received the glasses, I noticed the lenses had small scratches or some sort of smudge. I brought it up, and without any hassle, he kindly ordered me a new pair of lenses at no extra charge. The replacement lenses were ready within just 2 days, and this time everything looked great. He even let me keep the first lenses he ordered along with an extra glasses frame. Overall, I had a great experience here, mainly because of the excellent customer service and how professionally they handled the situation. They also get the job done quickly. We witness the same treatment to everyone who came in while we were there. My husband and I looked at glasses for 30 minutes, no offer to open cases, even after standing at a case several times obviously interested. Finally asked for help, the unlocked it and walked away, no offer of help. Had to ask each time we wanted to try a pair on and they were obviously upset about having to get up from behind the desk. No other customers were there. My husband Finally picked a pair and we went up to order. They placed the order without even asking if we wanted any of the add ons (stratch resistant, blue light, progressive,etc). We didnt realize until they gave us a total, then "couldn't" add any of the things we wanted because the order was placed (yet we hadn't paid). We pushed it and they were able to make changes. I asked for my prescription to be printed so I could order contacts online. They only printed my glasses prescription. My husband went in today to pick up his new glasses. The lady handed them to him and walked away. Didn't check to make sure yhey, needed any adjustments. She honestly didn't even stick around long enough to make sure they were the ones he ordered. We had 4 appointments the day we went in (us and 2 of our sons). All 4 of us left thinking it was a complete waste of time and money. Definitely regret going there and will never return. Yeah they have a good selection of high end glasses but nothing I couldn't find elsewhere.

She said they could and took my glasses off to a counter a few feet away. She spent several minutes Trying to install the little screw that I brought her.she then tried to tweak the little hinges on the frames themselves and then brought them back and said she was sorry she could not take care of it. She recommended I take my Columbia glasses to the Oakley store since they sell Columbia glasses there. I asked her if she knew any nearby but she did not. I said thanks and I took my glasses over to Kaiser Permanente where I purchased them. When I got to Kaiser I explained to the person working at the counter that I could not get the screw in anymore as it was stripped and they said they could take care of it for me. Iopened up the glasses and handed them to a technician who pointed to the hinges and asked what happened. While the young lady at eyeglass world was working on them she crushed the hinges together with the needle nose pliers she was using, (where the screw goes into and the arm) would no longer fit in place. I was told they could try to fix them but there was a great possibility that it would fall apart and be ruined. The tech at Kaiser worked on them for about 15 minutes and gently was able to pry the little hinge open far enough to be able to get the arm installed and a new screw which was tapered in place because of the threads being crushed by the pliers. It is my fault for not looking at my own glasses before I walked out of eyeglass world but I really wish that the person working there would not be so deceitful as to Damage my property and then hand them back to me with a smile and recommend I go somewhere else. For this reason I cannot trust this company, specifically this location to work with my property or earn my money and respect.

That time, I chalked it up to a misunderstanding. This time, it's clearly a scam. Several weeks ago I got my annual eye exam. My prescription didn't change much, just a few degrees in one eye. Still have an astigmatism in the other. I have been wearing the same brand of contacts for years. The doctor asked me if I liked them. I said yes. We had a whole conversation about them being bi-weekly, and her double checking to ensure that I liked that. Then, she trialed me on the updated prescription. This part is important--I opened the trial contacts myself. I tried 3 different ones, just different numbers, *ALL THE SAME BRAND*. I know what they look like, I've been using them for years. My trial was the same as what I always use, what we discussed, and what I asked for. Flash forward to picking up my contacts. I pre paid when I ordered. When I arrived at the store, I look in the bag and the first thing I notice is that there are not enough boxes for a year supply. There are. 12 pairs of contacts. I pick up the box, and it's not my brand. It's the store's own personal brand. Not only are these monthlies, but they're a whole separate brand. I tell the girl at the desk (glass, black hair, shorter) that these are the wrong contacts. While she was professional enough, I do want to say that she was very passive aggressive with me. She told me that the doctor trialed me on this brand. I told her I opened up the contacts myself and that the doctor and I had a whole conversation about it, and that is factually untrue. She just says "okay" and then continued to say FIVE MORE TIMES that the doctor trialed me on this new brand and that I'm wrong. I shut it down each time. Anyway, I ask for my correct contacts, and come to find out that the doctor put it IN MY PRESCRIPTION that I can only have this brand. In my literal prescription, the thing that I should be able to take to any store, she noted that I can only have some soft flex thing or whatever that's in their own personal brand. This is absolutely crazy to me, which I made sure to tell them. I straight up asked to girl helping me "does this not seem like a scam to you? To say that I can only have the brand made by your company?" She didn't really have much to say about it. It was very clear that she thought I was the problem, when they're the ones running a very clear scam. I stayed until they changed my prescription to take that out. We never discussed this brand. Never discussed soft flex. The girl at the desk tried to tell me that my old brand wouldn't work for my astigmatism, but I told her the astigmatism isn't new, and that the brand does cater to it. She did a quick check to very quickly realize I was right. They tried to order me the correct contacts, but I had them refund my order entirely and give me an updated prescription to take elsewhere. This place will never, EVER be getting my business again. It feels like it should be illegal to put that I can only have this company's brand in my official medical prescription. Absolutely absurd. I'm sure they get a kick back from selling their own brand somehow, especially since this happened to me not once, but twice. And on the second time, I clarified with them at the order that I wanted the same brand I always wear, and they confirmed that's what I'd be getting. I walked out of there nearly an hour later with no contacts, and an absolute disgust from this company and Doctor Diem Tran. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Well, other than the sporting goods store, this corner of Parkway Plaza has far less traffic congestion. The appointment went smoothly. Before seeing the optometrist, I sat at a few machines to check eye prescription and get eye images for the doctor to review general health. That slight puff of air on my eyeball always catches me by surprise. Next stop was with the optometrist in the other office for the traditional eye exam: * reading eye charts * answering "Which is clearer...1 or 2...now how about 3 or 4?" * looking off into the distance while doc uses a flashlight to check for eyeball abnormalities. After the exam, a friendly sales rep helped fill the eyeglass frame order with my current prescription. I'll wait for the call when new glasses are ready. In the meantime, I need to send the receipts before FSA reimbursement expires.

I cannot believe I've been wearing ill-fitting glasses for so long when Eleven Optical has been around. If you've got a low nose bridge, almost everything here will fit you so much better than brands that allegedly have low nose bridge styles but they still slide down (coughWarbyParkercough). I also don't really know what style of frames suit my face shape the best, but the super helpful staff here were able to point me in the right direction. Super quick turnaround time as well - I went on a Sunday and had them by Tuesday, but that's only because I needed the 1.67 index lenses which take a little longer and they're closed on Mondays. I think most prescriptions they can turn around within a day, which is amazing. On pick up day, I was able to get my frames adjusted to fit my face. As I understand it, they make as many adjustments as you need if you bring your glasses in. The only minor con is that the parking lot here is the size of a booger, but I was still able to find parking both times. I'll never get glasses anywhere else again!
