I have almost exclusively been using this brand of sunnies (and Quay) for many, many years. I have spent hundreds of dollars through this company and over the years I have thrown so many pairs away (their mirrored lenses that I love, don't keep well) before discovering their one year warranty. In all the years and the hundreds I have spent, I have only utilized the warranty program once for a replacement pair. Then I ordered another pair recently, it cracked in a car accident we were in and so I filed for a replacement under the warranty. I sent two requests in 1 week and heard nothing back. Fortunately, they are on Yelp because I received a message back almost instantly saying it would be forwarded to a CS manager and I had a brand new replacement pair a few days later. I bought three pairs of Blenders during the Memorial Day 2024 sale. One pair for me and two pairs for gifts. I loved my pair so much, but a few months ago, I was shopping and I left them in a dressing room at Nordstrom. When I went back to get them, alas they were gone, gaffled, adios. I was so sad... anyway, I went the whole summer rocking some old pairs of shades I had... but they were not cutting it. Cue today when I waltzed into Blenders on Cass St. and bought a sweet new pair of Matte Black Crimson Night IIs. Now I feel like myself again, and as we know, the San Diego sun is no joke - and we need sunglasses that can do the job well while making us feel, dare I say, cool! The two gents in the store were kind and efficient. One also was from NJ like moi, so that was fun. Anyway. I love Blenders - they're quality sunglasses for a decent price. Here is the deal, this is my new go to sunglasses place. Here's my back story . I was very against spending real money on sunglasses after doing that one time and then getting a scratch in the dead center of the lens. I started going to the cheapie places because they had styles I liked in very cheap prices and in bulk...id go through sunglasses often but it was fine. Those places eventually stopped having the variety of sunglasses I loved and eventually went under. My experience with Blenders started in 2023, I bought some sunglasses that I loved. Only used those at work and still bought some loud cheapies on Amazon. Cut to 2025, I wanted some more sunglasses to replace the cheapies I got in Amazon. Ive been seeing ads on IG on Instagram for Blenders, and remember I did like them so decided they were worth the price. I went down to PB for something else and popped into Blenders. They have a good mix of loud styles id wear in my personal time and more muted all black styles versions you can wear in more professional settings. Walking in, customer service was quick to acknowledge me and 2 different people offered to help inside of a minute. I was in a suit and tie, so I just assume either regular great customer service or they assumed I was there to spend. I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses. The next morning I see on Instagram, they are doing a anniversary bogo sale. I called and confirmed that I could take advantage of that deal onu previous purchase from the day before. I went back, returned and then rebought the sunglasses and got 2 more included. I love the Primes and only found out later it's a collab with Coach Prime. I'll be back for more glasses. Please if you guys read this... Do 1) an all white, with blue lenses 2) All Red with black lenses. read more

What an awesome sunglasses shop! I have been an online customer for about 6 months. I love their sunglasses. I love that they had a special online for the holidays for shipping. Since they are in town, I stopped by the store before my holiday travel to pickup some gifts. I called in advance to make sure that they had the items that I wanted in stock. Great news was that they did have them in stock and I was able to bypass getting them shipped to an address that we were traveling to. When I arrived at the store, I was immediately welcomed by the staff. I reminded the female staff person that I had called ahead. They immediately remembered me and went back to retrieve the amount that I wanted (4 pairs) of the Coach Prime Sunglasses. They have a point of sale system so that you can do Apple Pay or credit card debit card anything like that... This was very convenient. All in all the customer service experience was excellent, and I was able to admire some other styles that they had in the store. We go to the Caribbean for vacation, and I notoriously break my sunglasses, so I usually get cheap ones. Blenders was having a the buy 1 get 1 50% off sale, so I decided to splurge and get nice sunglasses. I wanted really polarized super bright ones, and I love ombre. These are much bigger frames than I usually wear, but I liked the colors. They're the Millenia X2 Black Forest. I usually wear aviators, and that's the other pair I got. The A Series Sedona Sunset. I only took one pair on my trip, in case I broke them, lol I saw some reviews that salt water and chlorine ruin them. Our room at Sandals had a private pool, so we spent most of our time there. I didn't wear them underwater, but I'm sure they got chlorine on them. And I didn't wear them in the ocean. I rinsed them off a few times, and they're totally fine. I love how they look. I attached several pictures so you can see how they look different in different lighting. They're definitely noticeable, and someone from Facebook that I'd never met actually recognized me from my Blenders. I'll probably take the other pair on my next trip. And wear these in my car. If I could, I would give this company ZERO stars! I own, or should I say owned, 5 pairs of these sunglasses and recently purchased 2 more pair (Tiger Lisa's and Gold Punch). I received my pair of Tiger Lisa's but have yet to receive my pair, which I've already paid for, of Gold Punch. I understand things happen so I've been very patient, hoping the company would realize their mistake by their inventory being off, but since I never did receive them, I started emailing the company, asking them to respond and let me know when I should expect them. I have sent 3 emails, on 3 different occasions, but received an email each time stating they are working on responding (computer generated response) and that someone would be getting in touch with me within their normal PST business hours. To date, I have yet to receive a response and when I call their customer service line, I go through their computer generated phone person and then at the end, all I hear is them asking me to leave my order number, my phone number and name but then the phone hangs up... very, very frustrating for a large company to treat their customers this way, especially over a $60 pair of sunglasses. Anyway, I don't ever leave reviews but I thought due to my high frustration, this was the time I needed to... I will be switching to another sunglass company, which are actually a step up from quality and comfort anyway... Shady Rays are much nicer and I'll tell you, so far they have been great to work with! Came in to buy a pair of Blenders for one of my friends today. I haven't been to the store and have only shopped online but decided to stop in today. I was greeted right away by Jared and before I browsed, he made sure I got my hands sanitized and explained to me the current store guidelines due to the pandemic - you can try anything on, but need to put the used glasses in a bin to ensure they are sanitized for the next customer. I had a few pairs in mind already so Jared pointed me to all of them to check out. Ended up with the Cool Ambition pair. After buying a few pairs a of these, I won't be buying anymore. I purchased a pair end of May and wear them mainly when I fish in the ocean. On only one of the lenses, film has peeled/wore off. I drove today back to the store expecting an exchange since clearly they are defective. I was offered to come back when/if they have replacement parts. Apparently they get parts in every couple weeks or so, so I can take my chances and drive on in sometime and hope they have the parts. Oh ya also offered 30 percent off a new pair. Heard about this place on a couple of what looked like at the time Facebook pop-ups for sunglasses for 45-65$ or something close to that, but long story short... I ordered some and happened to see they were coming from Pacific Beach (15minutes from my house) so I took a drive down and purchased another pair in store and since then have ordered two more pairs. The staff in store was amazing and very helpful. Very accommodating for also having to perform proper sanitation procedures during this time (COVID). Very very very clean store!
