Lady had such a negative attitude. Bought glasses a said they looked bent. She looks at me like I'm an idiot then heats them up and starts bending them. When I got home they don't even lay flat on the table. The right arm is still bent out and I called and she said you needed the protection plan to exchange them. Sooo you offered me a cleaning kit but never a protective going plan ? I would have bought that too but noooo this lady is the worst I've ever met. Don't bother going to this location. read more

Terrible service!! Order replacement lenses for my sunglasses, when they arrived, they said I could come in anytime Monday - Friday for the new lenses to be put in my glasses. Went in today (Friday) at 1pm and she told me they were too busy to help me and I could go to LensCrafters to get them to do it in a very rude and condescending way. Mind you, I paid for these new lenses 4 weeks ago. LensCrafters was very helpful but were not happy they sent us there because the woman working was too lazy! She was the manager too!! Horrible customer service. Lora was completely unhelpful and had a bad attitude. I was sold a pair of defective oakley glasses that had white vertical lines in the lens when looking in the sun. Returned them and basically wasn't believed. The sunglass hut in the Macys next door is much better with great customer service. read more

Went in there, very few people in the store. Which is the funny part, maybe 4 of us with kids. I was particularly looking at the Versace sunglasses since those are the ones I was interested in purchasing. Zero welcome, zero can I help you with something, zero do you have any questions, zero interaction. I needed some help since I haven't bought sunglasses in sometime and didn't really understand the sizing. All the other white customers got greeted, asked if they needed help etc. Once I was the last person in the store I was completely ignored still, even when walking out. Then she told me to go to Lenscrafters to see what they say.. they rolled their eyes after I told them what she had said then they adjusted my sunglasses without a problem. I was then told that this location often sends people to Lenscrafters to get glasses fixed or adjusted. So save time and just go elsewhere. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I just purchased a new pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses from here for $165.00 on April 21st (two weeks ago). Yesterday, the screw that connects the frame to keep the lens in place fell out, so the lens won't stay in the frame. Despite my efforts to search for it, the screw is nowhere to be found because it is so tiny. I stopped by Sunglass Hut today (with my receipt) to exchange them. After explaining to the store manager what happened and that I'd like to exchange them for a new pair, she responded by asking me if I wanted to use my "50% off to buy a new pair". I said, "I'm not sure what you are talking about. I just bought these two weeks ago and they are clearly defective if screws are already falling out, so I'd like to exchange them". She said, "So you brought them in broken and you think that is our fault?" 1. Rude. 2. Ummmm, yes. Yes I do. Sunglass Hut sold me a defective pair. I've owned Ray-Bans for years and they normally last forever. It is why I have always purchased them over other brands. I just spent $165 on a new pair that didn't even last two weeks. If screws are already falling out, THEY ARE DEFECTIVE. I've worn them maybe a handful of times and they are always kept in their case when not on my face. So yes, I expect them to be exchanged or repaired or something. Nope. The manager's only solution was that I had to spend more money to buy a new pair and telling me that it was my fault that the screw had already fallen out. After realizing she was going to be of absolutely no help, I told her to give me the number to corporate and left the store utterly astounded by her behavior. Rather than being greedy and trying to make a sale, the manager should have first mentioned to me that Ray-Ban covers their glasses for two years and that I could file a claim, which I only found out after calling corporate. At least there is a solution, but now I have to pay for shipping expenses and be without sunglasses for weeks while I go through the claims process. In any case, I will never purchase anything from Sunglass Hut again. read more

I went in to buy some sunglasses. They did not have the ones that I chose in stock. They kindly ordered them for me to be direct shipped to me. 2 days late I got an email stating that the order was cancelled because they did not have the frames that I ordered. Ok... things happen. But they never refunded my $242. I contacted corporate, they said they would take care of it. It has now been a month and I am still out $242 and no sunglasses. I had to file a dispute with my bank when they were the ones who canceled it. I ordered the same glasses from Oakley and got them delivered in a few days. No need to support this BS company. read more

This location is horrible. They close at 7pm. We arrived at 5:40pm only to find a post it on the door saying "back at 6pm". The female working there came walking up with some food and I asked if the 6pm time was accurate and received a very surly "yes" as she flounced inside, locking the door in a dramatic fashion. If you have to take a meal break up until an hour before closing, don't be rude about it. I've tried two other times to visit this store and they have not opened on time or been closed early. Seems they have no desire to actually have people that show up on time, stay until close or have two people working to cover breaks. read more

Ppl on here complaining probably don't realize there are other circumstances. During covid complaints about mask, that could have been corporate policy other times is.using the bathroom, maybe getting lunch or taking a break, maybe even short staffed. These ppl feel entitled and privilege. Most likely never had to struggle and if you did then you should take it easy. I have worked retail and have heard the most annoying and stupid that falls out of ppls mouths. Prices are set by the company not the employees. If you want to pay $50 or less, head to target. There's a reason why the reviews here suck. The employees are annoying and the manager there is unprofessional. She obviously has no idea how to run a retail store. I have spent thousands of dollars there over the years and if your business is to sale merchandise at a premium price you'd better back it up with great customer service. Anytime I have had an issue with their products they treat you like a nuisance and act put out. Not one of my claims has been unjustified. I'm not that kind of person that wants something for free but if I pay $300 for glasses and they start falling apart 6 months later!? And that ls considered wear and tear lol.. I guess I should buy glasses and not wear them. Not a scratch on them too. I'll never give this place my money again. There are way more shops out there that give 100% better customer service. I was in the area to do a little shopping and thought I'd pop in here to look around as I always seem to buy my sunglasses at Sunglass Hut. Upon entering I was promptly greeted and he asked if he could clean my sunglasses for me so why not, and he did a nice job. As I was browsing I definitely was thinking this guy needs to have another person working here with him or maybe he should call his mom because he wanted to talk talk talk. I'm not a particular brand shopper when it comes to sunglasses but they had a nice selection of Ray Ban, Prada, Coach and more. I found exactly what I was looking for and was in and out within about 15 minutes. Pricey, yes but it's an accessory worn everyday so I feel it's well worth it. read more

Politely waited outside until summoned due to COVID. As we walked in the door the employee asked if "those people" were in front of us, insinuating we cut them in line. I was offended and felt accused. Had further difficulty at the check out when an employee was resistant to honor the price listed on the sunglass hut website. After trying to replace a pair of expensive Sunglasses because one of the lens kept falling out, the snotty man told me that the lens was scratched so they couldn't return. After refusing to give me his DMs contact info, he gave me the wrong number to call customer service. When I found and called the right one, I was disappointed to find out there is literally no way to talk to a live person. Nice work Luxottica on ruining this retailer. This store deserves zero stars. Their expensive Prada glasses are garbage and they won't even give me my money back. They last only a few days before the screw cracks the lens. $340 glasses are junk, return policy is junk. Their associate with the long dark hair is also rude and accusing me of altering the glasses to break them on purpose. I buy expensive glasses to break them, yeah that makes no sense. I was upsold from a $120 pair of glasses to a $300 pair of Costa glasses because the employee Colin claimed they had a two year no cost warranty for any type of damage other than if I lost them. I brought them in for a warranty replacement. The same employee brought me to his manager who was exceptionally rude & had no regard to the fact that her employee was right behind me saying that is what he told me & that's what he thought to be true. She got snarky and told me he misspoke & that I would have to pay half price for a replacement. Hideous display of customer service! Especially considering the staff is selling these glasses to their customers with this understanding and then not honoring what they say. This store manager lacked any form of leadership or professionalism in this case. Very dissatisfied with what happened and will never give this store my business again after that. Sunglass Hut should take ownership for this poor display of customer service and should be more selective and the type of people that allow to operate the store and represent the company. read more
