Well, I have a warranty with Lenscrafters, but I sure wasn't going to do any further business with them, and left, the woman with whom I had initially made contact with just stood by silently horrified by the way her colleague was acting, I apologized to her and left the store.

I went back in repeatedly and the person at the counter kept adjusting them, telling me that the frames were too soft but assuring me that they could fix them (and that if they couldn't, they would replace them). This went on until they broke in my home, past the warrantee period (probably why the LensCrafters associate kept telling me that they would fix them, to run out the clock). When I went in, despite the fact that they have records of all of these issues, the store said 'so sorry' and offered to have me buy new glasses at 50% off even though I just spent $500 less than a year ago. I sent in a claim and have gotten nowhere with the company. I spent over $500 on this garbage. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY.

Was looking for a particular kayak, and Kayak Centre had the boat. I purchased it over the phone,…read moreand was told to call 24 hours before I wanted to pick it up because it was "still in storage, not yet unwrapped by the store", and they would need to retrieve it. When I found the same boat much closer to me I called them to cancel my order and they charged me a "restocking fee" for a boat that had not yet been brought into the shop, or unwrapped. The fee I had to pay, over $260, is the charge when someone buys a boat, takes it home, and then returns it. I can understand a small penalty for "making" them write up a sales slip, but this was excessive.
