They are located in a beautiful building on the banks of the Sacramento River adjacent to Cypress Ave in Redding. The facility is large, clean, modern, and well laid out. On the bottom floor are the physicians, Ophthalmologists, Dr Michael Sumsion and Doctor Sean Sumsion. Not only are both of these guys great physicians, their bedside manner and interaction with patients and family is fantastic. Very down to earth, patient, and happy to explain things. I have seen both of these docs, and I would put them as some of the best. For reference I see physicians at both UCSF and Stanford and this practice is at that caliber of professionalism and competence. Upstairs is the Optometrist, Dr. Jordan Evans. He is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is so kind and patient. I was trying to switch from just eyeglasses to Contact Lenses and my experience with him and his awesome staff was phenomenal. They were not in a hurry to move me through, they took the time to educate me, ensure that everything fit right, on multiple appointments. The bedside manner, caring, and interaction are all outstanding in my humble opinion. I am definitely a fan!

While waiting for the appointment, I became overwhelmed by the level of noise and conversation in the clinic by staff. Staff gossiping about patients, one another, etc... Just like hens in the henhouse ... I thought about leaving. During my exam, I was met with comments by DR. BAGGA such as, "Why do you have your eye closed?" and, "You should be able to see -- it's only an irritated eye; you just need saline." I am on General Assistance and cannot afford an eye lubricant. In addition, there were noticeable exchanges of side glances between DR.BAGGA and other staff, which conveyed JUDGEMENT t rather than support. These behaviors, though subtle, had a significant impact on my sense of safety and comfort during the exam. I share this not to criticize the entire practice, but to encourage greater awareness and sensitivity toward patients who may be experiencing sensory overload. DR. BAGGA a more mindful and respectful communication style would greatly improve the patient experience. I left ... and I STILL cannot afford an eye lubricant. I will NOT be back for care.

The gym has a "clean" scent; it appears to me that they give solid attention to maintenance. Gyms oftentimes appear not to have a scheduled sanitation routine in place and you can sense it as soon as you enter the building; that is not the case here. Kudos to the staff and management. Easy access via their code-reader located at the front desk, where you'll be greeted and acknowledged by name. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

So this started back in June of 2025 when my Battery died and because I have a vehicle that Is used…read morefor Work it's important that I get my Battery replaced as soon as possible. So I drove to this Interstate Battery location to have my Battery replaced. When I pulled up to the Business the parking lot was about full so that gave me a good sign that this was a great place to get our battery replaced. So I walked in and started talking to the Associate about my problem and they kindly offered to look at testing my Battery and advised that if the battery was bad that they would look at getting it replaced. After waiting about 10 minutes and pulling my vehicle into the bay, they tested the battery and sure enough the battery was on its last leg. The associate there offered me a battery that had a blemish and because of that it would be lesser cost. So I decided to take that one. After a period of months the battery worked GREAT! But then 2 months ago the battery started causing my vehicle not to start. If I waited a minute I could then start my car. Well this went on for awhile and so I decided to take my Vehicle to a mechanic to have the battery tested. The diagnostic came back as the battery was showing as it having Low Voltage. So I returned back to this place and explained the situation and since the battery is under warranty I was wanting to have it replaced. The one thing that I dont like here is the Associates tell you "Well if your battery is doing good then we cant replace it for you after we test it" I mean maybe they have to say that, but a customer isn't going to come in and lie about the battery they are having problems with. WELL maybe they would, but no honest person would anyways. Especially with us having to drive almost 3 hours 1 way to look at having a battery replaced. Oh, and if you live in Sacramento, dont go to the Wherehouse because they dont do installs. They can test your battery but they want you to take the battery out and also to bring it to them. Anyways, so after having a conversation with Destin, he said because the battery wasnt showing 300 cold cranking amps that he would go ahead and replace it. Well after waiting about a half hour, my car was finally back on the road and with a new Battery. Let me tell you that since that day of having my battery replaced a week ago, I havent had any trouble with it since. The only reason why I am giving this a 4 star and not a 5 star is because I dont think Associates should be telling customers that if the battery is Healthy then they cant replace it. Because from a Customers perspective they are gonna know best with what is wrong with their vehicle if the only thing they replaced that started the problem was the battery.

They checked my charging system (which was good), checked my starter (which was good) and then took my old battery out and did a thorough check. It was ok. It had a dead cell but would probably get me by for a couple more years. They did not try and sell me anything. Needless to say I bought a new battery. Personally I don't like being stranded. If you want to wade through the crowds at Costco you might get a better price! Personally I like a fair price with great service any day!!!
