It did not cover tge "special drops for eyes" about $100.00. Also didn't cover surgery center-$300 I went at my eye drs recommenadation. At my 3 or 4th visit Surgeon said because my astigmatism in both eyes a reg surg would not give me the result (no glasses) but for $1300 per lense I could get a toric lense (not covered by ins) implanted which corrects that.All had to be paid up front. I am retired on ssi and not a lot of extra money----but I said since I am only going to do this ONE time ok.After about a month both eyes were done With multiple eye dr appts copay is for specialist for eye drs. Anyway I did all this because I figured if no longer need flasses.... Long story short I went fo glasses my opt gave a script for driving glasses and needed reading glasses. This was not what I signed up for. I tried it-as I had no choice, but went back and told him-I could not my computer with either. Finally I went back to my optom and told I was NOT HAPPY & had to go back to Bifocals. He had a hard time fitting me and even worse his office didn't order them right for 3 trys. When I told him how unhappy I was his snwer was "Well, it; was surgery. You can't gaurantee results! i was ANGRY. I went then went to a new Opt who explained That I could see near and far but not mid range and because they put he toric lens in that will never change. He was able to fit me with bi-focals.I see ok with them. But now I had to pay exam AGAIN since my insur allowance was used. I HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER PAIR OF GLASSES! i KNOW THIS WILL NOT BE EVERYONES RESULT, but ask questions so hopefully you knw what you wil be getting into. I decided I wanted instead to give my money to a local business and have a more interesting coffee experience this morning. So, I went off the Thruway 15 minutes out of my way to try FLCR. As a resident of the Finger Lakes, I'd had their coffee before but it never really made an impression.. So, I was looking forward to the experience. I walked in and there is country music blasting... Not a hipster vibe.:) There was a crowd of old-timers in a corner having their morning klatch, which was great. I love an inviting neighborhood coffee shop, even though this is in a strip mall. I could read the sign that lists roasts available today but the names don't say much about the product, so I asked the counter person what they have available, hoping it'd be obvious that I'm not familiar with their product. She answered by stepping aside so I could read the signs on the coffee pumps. Great! I asked what their lighter blend is. She replied "Lake Blend". So I ordered that. it wasn't until I got myself back on the Thruway that I took my first sip. I have never had a weaker cup of coffee outside of a diner or a hospital situation. Even (especially) a light blend, when brewed properly, should have a flavorful profile and provide a full coffee experience. That should be the expectation at a coffee roaster, right? If I had taken a sip before I pulled out, I think I would've brought it back and requested another flavor. The service was quite impersonal and businesslike and it was obvious the counter person wasn't really clued in. Do ya even drink this stuff? The one saving grace was the medium 16oz cup only cost $1.95. I might have paid twice that for a really good cup, though. I had hoped to add a scone or muffin to my coffee order but the selection was limited, didn't look appetizing, wrapped in plastic film--never a good sign. I will say that the experience is particularly disappointing to me especially because they do roast and wholesale coffee. Why bother roasting when the coffee is made so weak so that the flavor is imperceptible?

In the Fall, we were delivered, when neither of us was home to receive it, "our" snow plow- except it wasn't ours. It was the same brand and type of plow, but it was rusty and dented, with old rusted wheels, and ours was sparkly brand new- looking. My husband called to try to get our rightful plow back, and they said it was ours. It is not! BEWARE! Keep your model number number handy, if you need a repair, so you can identify your equipment! I am fair, and to be fair, this rusty snow plow does start up and run. But it's still not ours. I wonder who has ours...

About 3 weeks later I scheduled a recheck and returned them because the prescription wasn't working for either reading or distance. I had blurry vision and got headaches from eye strain trying to read. I had my 2nd pair of glasses for about 5-6 weeks and was still having problems with both.. i stopped in a 1/2 hr before closing to ask to schedule an appointment and I was told to take them home and try again, that I had plenty of time, months, to correct the prescription. No one checked my account to determine the amount of time that I still had. I also mentioned that with my husband's severe health problems, I would have difficulty returning quickly. I was reassured that it would be fine. When I called to schedule that appointment I was told that I can only do that within 3 mths. I already tried for 2 mths but was told to keep trying. The store manager was the person that didn't bother checking the dates on my account to determine how much time I had because she wanted to leave on time 20 minutes later. Now if I want to have it corrected, I have to start over again with insurance and my co-pay. I will not go back there for this as the customer service was extremely unprofessional and they didn't get it right with 2 tries.

When I arrived a few minutes early, they let me look at some frames first (even though I could've gone right in). They schedule so that there is no wait lines. It's my time, they appreciate that and respect it, I really like that they do that for their customers! The technician who gave my exam was very friendly. The Doctor was quick but made sure that all my questions were answered and I was taken care of. The programs, deals and my insurance was explained and I felt like I got the best deal. It took about 7 days for my glasses and Rx sunglasses to come in, with a free trial for contacts, which i appreciated. I would recommend this location for those who want professional friendly service at a reasonable price. This is not a Walmart optical nor is it a boutique with white glove 3 hours personalized waitered service. For those who need to be pampered or waited on go spend $2k and complain somewhere else. These folks got me in and out for a 2 pairs of glasses reasonably priced with smiles and friendly service. I am more than satisfied and will tell everyone else the same.
